Begin Tour
Go on an adventure with snow shoes out to see the ice floe and a magnificent view of a frozen waterfall. During your tour, you may spot some wild birds and animals for an enjoyable time in Hokkaido.
Your guide will take you to a local restaurant of your choice.
Please note that not all types of meals can be accommodated.

Take your binoculars to go out into the woods to spot some massive birds of prey in their natural habitat. Your guide will drive you around to the points for a comfortable tour.
Drill a hole in the ice to catch some fresh smelt that you can taste on the spot as a tasty tempura!

Restrictions
- Participation is limited to children in 5th or 6th grade and above.
- You may not participate in this tour if
- Your body weight is over 100 kg.
- You cannot walk without assistance.
- You cannot go up and down steps.
- You have trouble keeping yourself balanced. - If you have a history of severe conditions related to the circulatory, respiratory, or nervous systems, please make sure to report your medical condition and the names of any medications you are currently taking in advance. On the day of the activity, please bring your medication with you. Depending on your medical condition and physical state on the day, participation may be declined.
Other requirements
- The pickup time will be determined the day before your participation, but the time listed in the email from VELTRA the day prior is only an estimate. The exact details will be communicated directly via a call from the guide's mobile phone after the evening of the day before.
- Please make sure to use the restroom before gathering, as there will be no restroom facilities available during the experience.
Required items to bring & attire
- We recommend wearing ski or snowboard gear. (If you don’t have these, wear waterproof and water-repellent outerwear, such as a rain jacket and pants.)
*For those who don’t have either, rental wear is available. - A Cap that covers your ears & gloves.
- High-cut waterproof trekking shoes or hiking boots that cover your ankles (having gaiters or spats for hiking is even better).

Insulated waterproof outerwear (jacket with padding + overpants) (for a fee)
Rubber boots (free of charge)
