Schedule
Pick Up from hotel in Abashiri
While driving to a secret point in a guide's car, we will explain about the origin of drift ice and its relationship with us.
After you arrived at the guide secret point, Let's wear the snow shoe!
If you're lucky, you might be able to see wild animals such as the long-tailed moth and the Japanese squirrel.
Once you get off the slope and reach the coastline, you can see the Sea of Okhotsk right in front of you. Also, you can usually see drift ice during the drift ice landing period from early February to mid-March! On days when the drift ice moves a lot, you may hear the "drift ice cry."
Kujira Falls is an ice waterfall that is also known as ice art. If you listen carefully, you can hear the gentle sound of water flowing even inside the frozen waterfall.
