Departure From Each Boarding Location
Affectionately known as 'O-Ise-san,' Ise Grand Shrine is formally called 'Jingu.' The Outer Shrine (Geku) enshrines Toyouke Omikami, the guardian deity of food, clothing, and shelter.
The Inner Shrine (Naiku) enshrines Amaterasu Omikami, revered as the ancestral deity of the Imperial Family and the great ancestral deity of the Japanese people.
Lunch time is approximately 45 minutes starting from 1:00 PM.
*For those who selected a lunch-included plan, a meal will be provided according to your plan: Ise Gozen or Matsusaka Beef Gozen at Senokuniya.
This shrine is dedicated to Sarutahiko Okami, who is said to have guided the heavenly grandson Ninigi-no-Mikoto during his descent to earth.
Tsukiyomi-no-miya is one of the auxiliary shrines of Ise Grand Shrine, dedicated to Tsukiyomi-no-Mikoto, the brother of Amaterasu Omikami. Within the same precinct, there are also Isanagi-no-miya and Isanami-no-miya, which enshrine the parent deities of Amaterasu Omikami and Tsukiyomi-no-Mikoto.
