Schedule
Meet at Kiaora Paddle.
Please fill out the health checklist and use the restroom.
After reception, take a 1-minute shuttle to the starting point. An instructor will brief you on paddling and rescue techniques. Wide, stable boards ensure safety for beginners.
The tour begins! Paddle into the serene waters of Kihoku, enjoying a private feel in the calm bay. Start with seated paddling, taking in the ria coastline and uninhabited islands. As you gain confidence, try standing up and paddling.
Once comfortable with paddling, enjoy a leisurely water stroll. Look up to admire the beautiful peninsulas and rugged coastline, preserved by locals!
Upon landing on the private beach, enjoy a freshly prepared coffee while taking in the serene views of Kihoku's sea. Spend your time swimming, searching for sea glass, or simply relaxing as you wish.
Depart the private beach and paddle back to the starting point. You'll be shuttled to the base to change before concluding the tour.
Note: The base offers dining and a guesthouse. Hot spring baths and meals are available for an additional fee.
