Itinerary
Spend your time relaxing and enjoying the view of the ocean from your room, or sit on the deck terrace or the porch and read a book. The common space in the home is also available for rent as an event space. Various events such as tea-time, yoga classes, and picture writing classes are held, and those who stay at the hotel that day can also enjoy interacting with local residents.
Tomonoura is a historic port town that once prospered as a tidal waiting port. The town's long-established culture is still alive throughout the town. Strolling around the town after the tourists have gone is a unique experience that can only be enjoyed by staying overnight. In the morning, you will see old ladies doing radio exercises in a vacant lot, and old men drinking sake while looking out at the sea. This kind of "everyday life in the town" will be accessible during your stay.

Thoughts on "Normalization" from Hiuchiya
Normalization is the concept of improving the social environment so that everyone, including the elderly and people with disabilities, can lead a normal life regardless of age or gender.
We at Hiuchiya hold these words dear to our hearts and aim to be a friendly inn where everyone can stay. Although there are still improvements to be made, we hope to grow each day through our encounters with guests like you.

Itinerary
■■For wheelchair users■■
When you hear the word "old private house," you may think that wheelchair users are not welcome, but Hiuchiya has many innovations to make it easy for wheelchair users to stay in our guesthouses.
Of course, there are steps inside the house, and some rooms are not wheelchair accessible. But the same is true when you go out in the city. In particular, the surrounding town has many cobblestone streets, slopes, and narrow streets where cars come and go.
If each person brings "kindness" to the streets, both wheelchair users and non-wheelchair users will be able to spend a comfortable time. I hope that the entire town will be filled with such an atmosphere.
□■For those with small children■■
Hiuchiya's garden is a place where children also play. Please enjoy your time with plants in the garden. We are sure you will be reminded of your childhood when you see them happily interacting with nature.
