Kealakekua Bay Snorkel & Dolphin Watch Rafting Tour - Kona Ocean Experience
Amazing snorkeling adventure!
投稿者: Kevin H, 2022/06/19This trip was a wonderful introduction to the great snorkeling in two of the bays on the west coast of Hawaii. Our guide provided all the gear we needed for the water. Our guide was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about local sea life and the culture and history of the coast we explored. As a family, we were novices at snorkeling but our guide stepped us through getting into and out of the water and directed us to the best areas of the bays to explore. Right out of dock, a pod of spinner dolphins crossed in front of the boat! Flying fish appeared along our route and there were many species of fish and many black sea urchins in both bays. The snacks hit the spot and the cultural history of the bays and coastline were very interesting. After the excursion, we felt we were ready to set off on our own snorkling adventure!

Excellent Experience
投稿者: April from Dallas Tx, 2021/06/12I really enjoyed my experience. It’s not just snorkeling but they had paddle boats, water tube, a mat that allowed you to lay out in the ocean. The lunch cruise had grilled hornet burgers with soft buns. The drinks were tasty! Crew was friendly but very strict when it came to the rules, however, everyone made it back home safely. Great experience with my family!

Kona Manta Ray Snorkel & Night Dive Tour at Keauhou Bay - Sea Paradise
Sea Paradise Sunset Sail-NO Sailing!
投稿者: Mae, 2021/05/15There was no sailing on this trip.The Manta rays are close to where the boat goes in the water. I thought we would have a nice sail while the sun was setting and then get in the water but that was not the case. This experience was both boring and exciting. You are in the water for 45 minutes lying flat with arms outstretched holding onto the handle on one of several connected "light boards"while you have your snorkeled face in the water, and are balancing a noodle under your ankles. You brush up against the people on either side of you.The motion of the ocean gets to be a bit much for many people. I heard a crew member say to another "at least no one puked this trip". I have never been sea sick but started feeling queasy and did get out with about 10 minutes to go. You can raise your arm and be escorted back to the boat at any time.You are provided with a half wet suit but still you get chilled. If you have any shoulder problems I would think twice about doing this trip. All that being said it was so cool when the Mantas did show up and swim right past you! There weren't many but I got some good video and stills with a camera that I borrowed from a friend. Maybe there is a better time of day or year to see more mantas? If you're positioned on a middle light board you have time to get the camera set because you will hear the people at the ends of the the light boards ooh and aah and cheer! I probably would not do this trip again but notice I didn't say never! The boat was nice , the crew was fine.

We are so sorry to hear you found your experience less than stellar. We appreciate your feedback. We often do try to do some sailing prior to heading to the Manta Ray Village, however factors of getting the best viewing spot for our guests may have disrupted the sailing part as many times through out the year we'll have northern boats come down to view the manta's if they haven't been seeing any at their usual location. Our best recommendation for hanging on to the light rafts would be to not be tense, this can make for an unpleasant experience for anyone, including people with shoulder problems. It's best to relax and go with the flow of the ocean rather than against it. Although we are sad to hear you didn't enjoy your whole time with us, we are happy to hear you enjoyed the stars of the show. They are truly magical. We hope you'll give us another try on a return visit to the islands. Mahalo Nui Loa!

Big Island Afternoon Whale Watch Tour from Kona - Body Glove Cruises [Dec - Mar]
Where are the whales?
投稿者: Disappointed , 2021/02/27I have been on a whale watching tour in the past and the captain took us directly to where the whales were and we were so close and able to get great pictures for the entire tour. That was not the case here; we were constantly looking for whales and all we ever saw was the “blow” and some splashing from quite a distance. It was very disappointing. I would think these guys would know where to go since they do this everyday. We were in the boat for several hours and never saw anything to identify this as a good trip! I would have expected them to take us somewhere to see the whales, we seemed to hang out in the same area just hoping a whale would show up!
The boat was very nice and the people were nice too but the whales were missing!! This was the beginning of February, isn’t that the best time?

Unfortunately whales are not stationary animals and try as we might, we have not gotten them to agree to be on payroll.
As whale watching is a gamble by nature, we offer a guarantee of whale sightings or come again free. We wish you would have taken us up on it so you could have come out on another day. We hope the rest of your vacation on the big island was great!

Took a lot of questions from the group. We also saw a group of manta rays on our way back to shore! My 4 year old had as equally good time as his grandparents. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing experience
投稿者: Tessa , 2021/02/23We got to see lots of whales. We saw whales breach & fin slap. We saw a baby calf very closely & she looked right at us. Then, the calf swam under our boat as the mom followed & then the huge escort male whale followed. Definitely was a trip to remember! Both the captain Chuck & lifeguard aboard were excited to see the whales & were very excited to share their knowledge! Our captain took us north away from all of the other boats. Which made us feel very connected to the whales & not like tourists.

初心者でも楽しめます

当初は船の上からイルカを観れるだけでもという気持ちで参加しましたが、いざ出発するとガイドの方の勢いに後押しされ海の中へ。ろくに泳げない母は浮を借りながらですが、ガイドさんがしっかりと誘導してくれたので一番の特等席でイルカを観られたと大変感動していました。ガイドさんのプロの仕事はこういうものか。と感銘を受けました。イルカとの遭遇率のみならず、シュノーケリングを着けた上からでもツアー参加者の名前と楽しめているかをしっかりと把握してくれます。他ツアーが沢山入り混じる中でです。本当に凄い。他のツアーよりもアクティブでしたが、イルカを愛するガイドさんの愛が伝わってきました。イルカ好きには何度でもおすすめ出来ます。

マンタ大学夜学部 野生のマンタ＆ナイトシュノーケリングツアー ＜日本語スタッフ乗船日あり＞
近くまでマンタがやって来た
投稿者: まりん, 2020/03/31以前TV番組でハワイ島のマンタツアーを見ました。その迫力あるシーンを見てハワイ島に行ったら絶対マンタツアーに参加しようと思っていました。今回は」出迎えは日本人の女性で分かりやすく案内してくれました。マンターツアーのインストラクターは岐阜弁と名古屋弁が混ざったイントネーションの日本語を話すハーフのイケメンでした。（お母さんが名古屋出身で本人は小学校まで日本に住んでいたとのこと）港からマンタポイントまで結構船に乗りましたが途中きれいなサンセットを堪能することができました。ポイントに着くとマスクとシュノーケルを着けて直ぐに海に飛び込みました。２畳ほどの大きさのある正方形のゴムボートに掴り、海中を覗くとライトの光に小魚の群れが集まってきました。しばらく待っていると水深10メートルくらいの海底にマンタが１枚現れました。ライトの光が当たる場所にマンタが入りよく見ることが出来ました。その後も１枚２枚とマンタが通り過ぎて行きました。その中で私たちのボートの近くまでマンタが泳いで来て、その迫力に感動しました。ハワイと言えども３月は少し寒いので、ウエットスーツは必要でした。

またチャレンジしたいです。
投稿者: れいな, 2020/03/17正直、マンタは2回しか見れませんでした。しかも遠くで一瞬。ツアー詳細に書いてあるような、目の前で餌を食べる瞬間や、触れそうなくらいの
接近はありませんでした。当日の天候等も影響するみたいで、マンタも自然のものなのでなかなか毎回見れるとは限らない・・という事ですね。
見れなかったので次回は無料でリトライさせてもらえる制度があり、とても助かりました。
マンタは見れませんでしたが、たまたま船上からイルカを見る事ができました。飛び跳ねたり泳いで近づいてくれたり、それはとてもラッキーでした。
また次回マンタチャレンジしたいと思います。

クルーズの中ではスナック菓子やソフトドリンクが無料です。外で座っているとスタッフが欲しい飲み物を聞いてくれて持ってきてくれました。
酔い止めなどなくとも大丈夫な安定した日でした。
レンタカーで現地に向かいましたが場所はわかりやすく角です。車は路肩に止めます。

当日は天気に恵まれたので、薬など飲まなくても船酔いはなかったです。
くじらは、遠くで何頭も見れました。尾びれ、背中、潮吹きも。
こんなもんかな？って思っていたら、突然目の前での連続ブリーチング！！
すごい迫力で、乗客みんな大興奮でした。

ハワイ島 野生のマンタ サンセットシュノーケリング＜夕方／英語ガイド／軽食付＞
何度も近くにきました！
投稿者: Amazon, 2020/03/11小さめのボートに乗り、大自然を感じられる海岸線を南下してサンセットを見てからマンタのいるスポットに戻ります。
スポットに戻る頃には他のツアーの船も沢山いて、同じマンタを共有して見るような感じになります。
そのため歓声が上がっている場所に今マンタがいるんだなとわかります。笑
マンタは、何度もライトに向かってくるので間近で見ることができました！
無駄がないツアーで大満足でしたが、船を降りてすぐチップは〇〇ドルがベターだ、とせがまれました。払うつもりではいましたが、金額まで指定されるのは違うなぁと感じました。言われた金額は妥当な金額ではあったのでそのまま払いましたが、言われたくない人はマンタの鑑賞が終わったらすぐに払ったほうがいいと思います。

ドキドキ大興奮‼️
クルクルと泳ぐ姿が、とてもキレイでした。
マンタのお腹部分が、私の手に触れてビックリしました。ザラっとしてました。

親子のくじらに遭遇しました！
投稿者: T.S, 2020/03/09思っていた以上に大きい船でした。スピーカーで説明してくれている方がいたのですが、全て英語であまりよく分かりませんでした。日本人のお客さんもほとんどいませんでした。船酔いが不安だったので酔い止めを飲んで出掛けましたが、あまり揺れも感じずにすみました。4回ほどくじらを見ることができましたが、当然のことながら、あまり近くに寄ることもできないため、遠目に見るだけでは、やはり迫力には欠けます。しかし、肉眼で見られるのは、この時期だけですので、見ることができただけで感動でした！

クルーズもマンタもサンセットも最高でした！
投稿者: T.S, 2020/03/09家族３人で参加しました。船酔いが不安でしたが、酔い止めを飲んで出かけたのですが、キャプテン、クルーの皆さんがとても陽気で、まさに船上のパーティといった感じ！テンションが上がる程の心地良い風と波しぶきがとっておきの気分にさせてくれて、いつの間にか船酔いも忘れていました。サンセットもまた最高に綺麗でした！マンタも5回程目の前を通ってくれて、ターンまで見せてくれて最高に感動しました‼︎このツアーは絶対におすすめです！帰りは濡れた身体に風が冷たいので、羽織る物を持って行った方がいいですよ。

鯨は見られなかったけど良かったです。
投稿者: TKD, 2020/03/08あいにく鯨は見ることができませんでしたが、海から望む雄大なビッグアイランド、コナ港の沖に停泊していた豪華客船の横を通ったり、前日に訪れたコーヒー農園はあそこかな？なんて探したりしながら、それはそれで楽しいクルーズでした。ハワイの鯨や海の生き物について一生懸命に説明（英語）し続けていたガイドさんに好感が持てました。

出発直前はウミガメがすぐそばで見られラッキー！と思っていたら、海に出てみると、なんと20頭以上はいるか思われるイルカたちの中で泳ぐことができました❗️イルカの声？も聞こえ感激！！
ガイドさんも自然体で、日本語がヘタだと言っていましたがそんな事はなく、むしろお話しはわかりやすく楽しかったです
ガイドさんのおかげでリラックスした状態でツアーを楽しめました✨

ホエールウォッチングクルーズ ＜12～3月／午前／軽食付き／ワイコロアまたはカワイハエ港発＞
クジラ見れました！

ツアー受付でチェックイン後、浅瀬のビーチで小型の船に乗り、そこから少し沖に出てから中型のクジラウォッチング用の船に乗り換えました。
日本人向けのツアーではないので説明はすべて英語で、英語が苦手な私たちにはあまり内容はわかりませんでしたが、受付の方もクルーの方もフレンドリーで肩身の狭い思いをすることはありませんでした。
ツアーにはドリンクやスナックがついています。
私たちはいらなかったので飲み食いしませんでしたが、クルーの方が何か飲まないかとわざわざ尋ねてくださったり、船は揺れるので移動が億劫になる高齢者の方に飲み物を届けたりする心遣いはいいなぁと思いました。
どんなクジラに出会えるかは運でしかないのですが、この時は赤ちゃん連れのクジラ親子に遭遇できました。
派手な画を見ることはできませんでしたが、塩吹きや尻尾を見ることができたので十分に楽しめました。
英語が理解できればもっと楽しめたのかもしれませんが、英語ができなくても楽しめるツアーでした。

We moor in about 25-30 feet of water in order to protect the fragile coral reef. When guests stay near the boat unfortunately the fish are less plentiful in the open water.
During our safety briefing our crew instructs guests to swim closer to shore in about 10-15 feet of water where the coral and fish are plentiful.
