- ■Regarding valid drivers license
To drive an Akiba Kart, you will need one of the following documents.
Please make sure to bring the document(s) on the day of your tour.
- Japanese Driving License
- SOFA Driving License for US Forces Japan.
International Driving Permit issued by AAA or AATA is acceptable.
and States Side Drivers License with US Militaly ID are acceptable. - Visitors to Japan must bring their International Driver's License and Passport. International Driver's Licenses must be from countries signatory to the Geneva Conventions on Driving or a SOFA License issued by the United States Armed Forces.
- Visitors with a Swiss, German, French, Belgian, Slovenian, Monaco, or Taiwanese license must also provide an official translation of their license issued by their Embassy, Consulate, or the JAF.
- Passport with Foreign driving license (issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, Slovenia or Monaco) with Japanese Translation by authorized organization.
If you have a domestic driving license of Swizerland,Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, Slovenia or Monaco, and its Japanese translation, you are allowed to drive in Japan for one year from the date of entry into Japan. Please take the following two documents and your passport with you. - Passport with An international driving Permit (issued by a signatory to the 1949 Geneva Convention)

- Please do not wear high heels, winter boots, long skirts or other clothes that could hinder from driving.

- In case the tour is cancelled due to heavy rain or bad weather, participants will not be charged with additional fees and may reschedule to another date. However, if there is no available slot on the chosen rescheduled date, refunds will be issued.
- The end time of the tour may slightly differ depending on the driving skills of the participant and the traffic condition.
- Please follow your guide:s instructions and follow proper driving mannerisms. If the guide finds your driving to be dangerous, the tour will be cut short and refunds will not be issued in such cases.
- Refunds will not be issued to participants that has arrived late or has forgotten their license.
- This tour is operated in Japanese only.
