- The tour schedule may change or be canceled due to weather or traffic conditions. In such cases, a direct call will be made to your phone number at least one hour before the scheduled pick-up time.
- There are no restrooms available during the tour (portable toilets will be used). Please make sure to use the facilities before gathering.
- Depending on the snow conditions, the snowshoe tour may be conducted with boots instead.
- In midwinter, the wind chill can make it feel as cold as -20°C. Please ensure you are well-prepared with appropriate clothing in advance.
- Due to the nature of the outdoor tour, excessive safety measures are not in place. Please ensure you are in good health before participating. If you are feeling unwell, consider postponing your participation and join only if you are comfortable.
- The rental ski wear is worn over your clothing, so please dress warmly and comfortably. Participation is not allowed in suits, skirts, heels, or sandals.
- All rental items are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited in quantity.
- Until late December and in late March, there may not be enough snow, so it is likely that the tour will be conducted with boots instead of snowshoes.
- On the winter closure days of the Shiretoko Nature Center, which is the tour's starting point, the facilities, including restrooms, will not be available before or after the tour. Please use the restroom at your accommodation or another location before arriving.
