London to Paris by Eurostar with Luxury Coach Tour and Seine River Cruise

Reviewed by: Ric-PDX, 2013/08/07Tour was reasonably well executed from a logistics standpoint (compared to the reviews of other tours I read about, anyway). Our first rest & food stop was in the Louvre at 2PM, which is not exactly an ideal venue for eating or using the facilities. Transportation was provided by a open top hop-on/hop-off bus, which we shared with non-tour customers. The circuitous route combined with Paris traffic meant it took a while to get from place to place.Tour ended with a short shopping experience at a row of 10 shops with virtually identical inventories of cheap souvenirs followed by a trip to Paris's largest and possibly most expensive department store. The tour guide/tourist herder got us where we needed to go. I felt a bit bad for our tour guide. He was very low key, spoke in thickly accented English and seemed to be either filling in for a regular or someone badly in need of a career change. He held up nobly (there were only a dozen of us on the tour).
