Prepare to Walk!

Maria our guide was excellent - knowledgeable, engaging delivery - she trained as an actress and fun. We covered quite some ground and walked in areas where most tourist may miss if they were on some bus tour. Potsdam needs more time to explore and this walking tour is a good introduction for the next visit!

Nikolai is one of the best tour guides. He did the most from a little. He load us with information that someone would skip.

We enjoyed it

You can experience Potsdam for a very reasonable price.
We used a bus when we arrived there. We visited Sanssouci Palace and Cecilienhof Palace.
Because of time limitation, we didn't enter Sanssouci Palace, but instead we went to the smaller villa. There was a lot of paintings.
At the Cecilienhof, we also didn't get in, but we saw the room where the Potsdam Conference was held from the outside.
I guess it would be better if we were able to go inside.
There is a lot of walking, so better wear comfortable shoes.
The guide was very good and explained everything enthusiastically. He explained us how to get back to Berlin as well.

lots to see,plenty facts to learn about,only found as at our age found it to be quite tiring.but enjoyable all the same. the whole set up from meeting up to the very facts from our tour guide.
