A little tricky to find the shop initially. Instructor was efficient & very patient with everyone. Lots of time to practice before you do your own glass which was great. Very enjoyable experience! ❤️

We were concerned about doing this….as it is described as “glass etching”. Something we have not done ever in our life, but we decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised at the process. The instructor took... more us step by step to explain the technique of glass etching and he was to patient and calm during the whole process. I would definitely recommend this to all of my friends and family. It was just steps outside of the Asakusa train Station….so convenient.

This was a highlight of our time in Tokyo. It was a wonderful experience and way to make a unique souvenir. The teen ages boys loved it. Our teacher and as wonderful and gave us lots of help with practicing before we sta... morerted our final project.

This was such an awesome experience. I learned so much and would take this again! The instructor spoke English and Japanese, was friendly, patient, and kind. I was able to choose a clear glass (I wanted a pink one but wa... mores told I could only choose clear sadly) and they had many additional options for an extra charge (also clear). They have stencils, or you are able to draw free hand on your glass. You are provided a piece of glass to practice on before you attempt your design. The setting was intimate with only 4 cutting machines (there were other studios that were larger on other floors) which I liked because it felt more personal. I didn't need glasses or an apron like I thought I might. You can take photos of your glass when you finish in a lit photo box which makes your pictures look amazing. The room was a little warm for me, but I brought a tiny hand fan with a stand and it was perfect. We were asked to remove our shoes and wear public slippers, so I recommend wearing socks.

The activity was fun itself but I feel that it would have been better if we had more practice before the real thing!

Nonetheless, we enjoyed the activity.

We had a really wonderful time creating a very unique keepsake that will always remind us of our time in Japan. Our instructor, Hiro, was excellent in explaining everything in English and he helped my sons each learn te... morechniques to create the glass cuts they wanted for each of their designs. After we were done, we were able to photograph our completed glasses in a way that made them look so professional. We highly recommend this activity - especially for those in high school and above.
