Journey up a trail consisting of 398 steps to catch sight of Mt. Fuji together with a historic five-story pagoda. This spot affords visitors a breathtaking view and is the most known Mt. Fuji viewing point of the region. Enjoy the view with cherry blossoms in spring and colorful leaves in autumn.
Savor a bowl of hoto noodles, a local specialty that was originally served for the samurai in this region. Other meal options are also available.

Example of Things to do at the Five Lakes of Fuji
Enjoy the wonderful view of Mt.Fuji and the lakes that formed during a volcanic eruption. In spring, stroll through the garden filled with colorful flowers and pink moss phlox during the Shibazakura Festival. This unforgettable view is only available for a short time.
Visit a former farming village by Lake Saiko lined with traditional thatched-roofed houses. Learn about Japanese history as you venture into the unique open-air museum filled with many fun activities and workshops!
If time allows, make your way to Lake Yamanaka, known to be the largest among the five lakes. Let your driver take you to one of the most scenic spots to see the lake with Mt. Fuji on a nice sunny day.

Visit either the Fuji Sengen Shrine where Mt. Fuji climbers would pray for a safe journey or marvel at the beauty of the five-story pagoda at Arakura Sengen Shrine.
Please note that the two shrines are in different locations. Kindly select one of the two upon booking.
