Good day activity out of Tokyo. Not too strenuous for elderly yet get to see mt fuji and enjoy hakone! Lunch was good too. Only set back was controlling the other people on the tour. With each stop being 5-10mins late, we ended up being half hour late for last activity which was the lake ashi cruise and being late autumn/early winter, the sky was dark and we couldn't see anything! And because it was late we decided to take the bullet train back to tokyo which cost extra. Overall, a good day tour!

The experience was amazing to climb the mountain and to go through that challenge with good guide, group and hikers.
The sunrise few is amazing as well, however the arrangement was just ok. Especially that I asked for different meal but I was surprised that it was difficult to arrange according to the customer service of your website. I was disappointed because such arrangement is why I book through your website instead of searching for the service provider by myself.
Still my overall experience is good and I love it. And would love to do it again.
Thanks.

The guide was very good and informative. However, Mt Fuji was completely fogged in (even it was hard to see the shops at the 5th station in the fog), and it was rainy, foggy for all of the other sites. The lunch was great, though, and it was a nice day to get out of the city into the countryside. Because pretty much all of the sites were not visible I would have hoped that this tour be rescheduled (the following day was clear).

I would recommend to carry atleast 20000 Yen just in case as the places that are covered during the trip are mostly in the rural part and most vendor accept cash and no credit card. If you plan to buy gifts it's recommended to carry more cash.

We hoped to see Mt. Fuji, but, unfortunately, it rained the day of our booked tour and Mt. Fuji was not to be seen. But all was not lost. Our driver, Toshi, picked us up promptly at the scheduled time and drove us to the Mt. Fuji area. On the way he gave us information on local sites that we passed. Our guide, Yuko, was very knowledgeable and gave us options for our rainy day. Our driver and guide learned that we liked to hike so we went to a beautiful shrine at the base of Mt. Fuji and hiked on an ancient trail to the first station. A great way to experience Mt. Fuji on a rainy day. Yuko gave much information on local customs and the Shinto religion involving the mountain. We then had a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant. Following this, we chose to go to a museum featuring a world renowned textile artist who made kimono art. These were fabulous. It was then late in the day and we traveled back to Tokyo. A different experience than we hoped for due to the rain, but a memorable and enjoyable day thanks to Toshi and Yuko. We definitely recommend their services for guide and driver for the Mt. Fuji tour. They’re the best!

For my wife and I, our Autumn / Fall Day Trip to Mt. Fuji and surrounding areas in November 2019 was definitely one of the major highlights of our stay in Tokyo and the rest of Japan. The whole experience, from start to finish, far exceeded our expectations.
From the meet and greet at the Tokyo starting point to our final drop off in downtown Tokyo in Shinjuku, we felt so welcomed by our amazing Tour Guide, Izumi, and our Bus Driver. The timing of the pick up, drop off and all activities in between was impeccable - we never felt rushed or pushed at any stage, with the time allocated for each activity being more than sufficient and extremely well thought out.
Besides the incredible sights and sounds that we experienced along the way, the insightful Japanese stories and anecdotes that our Tour Guide shared with us made the whole Trip that much more special and memorable!
We would most certainly suggest this Trip to our friends and family - well worth it in every respect!

Ken and Ishi made our day very special. We appreciate their efforts very much and would highly recommend them for their knowledge and professionalism.
Ishi was a most excellent driver in heavy traffic.
Ken answered our questions about the tour sights, as well as many about Japanese culture. He also amused us with a Japanese lesson during the long drive. When weather prevented us from seeing Mt. Fuji, they substituted other sights to compensate. The Hoto restaurant they chose for lunch was also excellent. We could not have had better, more attentive guides.
We give them the highest recommendation.
Dear Patsy,
Thank you very much for your review. We are so glad you enjoyed our tour even in a rainy day. Though we couldn’t blow away clouds from Mt. Fuji with our breath, as you found, the area has many things that attract tourists around the year such as autumn foliage, cherry blossoms, museums, breweries etc. We are looking forward to serving you again.
Best wishes,
Ken

The tour timetables was well organised, views to mt Fuji and cruise on lake Ashi were amazing. We had good weather but on a bad weather the tour would be very poor because the success is depending on the scenery. The food experience at the restaurant was fine but I dont recommend this trip for vegetarians. The tour guides were polite and friendly but gave only the info about timetables and toilets. The english speaking guide could speak so little english that the we didnt get to hear anything about history or details of the area which we had looked forward to. I wouldn't recommend this tour if youre interested about more than just photographic scenery, pork food and shopping.

The variety throughout the day was great! I thought we saw many unique parts of the are around Mt. Fuji. The bus trip took us through beautiful Japanese hillsides and our driver got us to each destination quickly and safely. Unfortunately, when we stopped at the ropeway, Mt. Fuji was fogged in, but the ride was fun and the view is the lake was fantastic! Maybe check the weather for your destinations before booking. We definitely enjoyed walking around 5th Station and the view of the mountain was fantastic. Our guide had cool little tidbits about each place we went, which helped make our trip personal. When we stopped for lunch, our food was already ready and waiting, making us feel very taken care of. Regarding the variety, we enjoyed seeing the grape farm as well as the winery. They were both a peak inside Japan’s culture!
There are lot a of places to shop for souvenirs so budget wisely if you’re planning on making purchases. There’s a wide variety ranging from trinkets and mugs to sweets and exotic foods. Other than that, enjoy the countryside and the amazing sights.

It was a good experience for us visiting Mount Fuji and Hakone. The weather was perfect and we could see Mount Fuji clearly. We started at 7.45 from our hotel but left at only 9.15 from Hamamoutchi bus terminal. A lot of time was spent in picking up guests from each location. By the time we left we faced a lot of traffic. We didn't get enough time at each stop with about 45mins at 5th station, 15 mins cruise and about 30 mins at the Ropeway. So for a total of 90 mins of actual sightseeing we spent about 8.5 hours in bus (including an hour for lunch). Hence I think time management could have been better with only 1 pickup location at leaving Tokyo at 8 to avoid traffic. Hamamoutchi should be completely avoided.
Apart from this, the tour was good. The bus was comfortable. The guide spoke English well and provided a lot of information. There were 2 options for lunch, vegetarian and chicken. The lunch was good and the staff at the restaurant was very friendly. Overall it was a good experience but they could have managed the time better.

We really enjoyed out tour. Our guide Yuki was very informative and a really nice person. We were lucky enough to see Mount Fuji before it hid behind the clouds. We were unable to go to the 5th station due to snow and icy roads, so we went to the world heritage centre instead. Yuki pointed out various interesting places throughout the day. Shiraito Falls were amazing to see, as was Oshino Hakkai and the shrine. The weather wasn't always on our side but it didn't ruin the day in the slightest. If you're staying in Tokyo it's a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city scene.

It turned out to be a full beautiful day with Fuji-san.
The day started early and we got the first glimpse of Mt. Fuji very early on the highway.
The tour guide spoke very good English and was entertaining. Her positive attitude of being lucky in viewing Fuji-san came alive as we had the view throughout the route, at the ropeway and right in front of us at lake kawaguchi.
The maple corridor was not fully ready but the trees on the way had the yellow and the red leaves welcoming us. It was breathtaking.
The food (vegetarian) was Oishi and very well served.
But for a traffic jam on the highway ( which had nothing to do with the trip) all went wonderfully well. Even during the Jam, the guide (Kaori Hiramoto) kept briefing us of history of Tokyo and Japan, taught us Japanese and was very lively.
Highly recommended ....

The Japanese lunch provided was very good and the cable car ride to a good viewing spot was fun.
The view from the Lake was superb with the autumn colours framing photos. Not one cloud covering the mountain. An interesting market was taking place with lots of food and craft stalls.
