Great stay experience

Our host (Dice) was a fastastic and pleasant person. Took great care to connect even before check in until we checked out. I stayed with my family (parents and children) and they loved it.

It was like a home. Well maintained.

Very convenient location to catch a train or taxi or bus. Most importantly located very close to many tourist attractions as well. Saves time!!

Mt. Fuji, Lake Kawaguchi and Oshino Ninja Village Bus Tour from Tokyo with Lunch

Reviewed by: Joo, 2017/05/29

I like this tour very much. In the morning, I had a hiccup to find out the meeting place and immediately called the emergency line. She asked me to get a taxi and explained the details to the taxi driver on how to go the meeting place so that we did not miss the trip.
Our tour guide was Kim and he was very friendly and helpful. During on the way to Mt Fuji, Kim explained about the formation of Mt Fuji and a little bit about Japanese culture especially about the differences between shrine and temple.
Our first stop was Lake Kawaguchi-ko and we had opportunity to taste the blueberry soft ice-cream. Unfortunately we was not able to view clearly at Mt Fuji as it was covered by cloud. Then we went to the 8 ponds in Oshino Hakkai and it was a traditional Japanese village. I heard a lot about the wonder of Mt Fuji water and took the first chance to drink a youthful Mt Fuji water.
Our next stop was a ninja village where we had Japanese style lunch. After the lunch, we visited Japanese Garden and took a few picture of very beautiful flowers in blossoms as we had missed Sakura flower session in Tokyo. After that, the most important place to visit is the 5th station of Mt Fuji. It is a fantastic and beautiful. Well! It is worth the trip.
We did not expect much on the last stop on the 4d movie simulation on Mt Fuji. But It is very real and nice. We wish we could go the second view of it.
We strongly recommend for this tour.

Private Mt. Fuji Tour from Tokyo with Arakura Sengen Shrine & Fuji Five Lakes

Taiji Endo is an exceptional guide

Reviewed by: MML, 2017/05/26

On the morning of our tour, our guide, Taiji was waiting when we exited our hotel lobby. After introductions, Taiji familiarized himself with folding my wife’s wheelchair. Once we were in our seats, we explained that we would prefer not to participate in the hot springs bathing. Taiji accepted this and said we should still see the lakes and towns along the way to Mount Fuji as they are quite remarkable.

Taiji took us to the World Heritage Site Visitor Center where we watched an informative video about Mount Fuji. It was there that my wife noticed photography by Rocky Tanaka. We later learned Taiji and he are friends. At the end of our tour Taiji arranged for us to meet with Mr. Tanaka so we could view his gallery and purchase a piece of his art.

From the Visitor Center, we traveled on to see lakes and ponds which have formed by snow melt from Mount Fuji. Some of the villages along the way also exist only because Mount Fuji is towering in the distance. Mount Fuji is a Religious symbol to the Japanese.
We saw and ate white strawberries for the first time. We saw a traditional Japanese home with a thatch roof that will last for 100+ years. We saw bonsai trees and gardens and shops and fish ponds with giant fish and markets. We ate a traditional Japanese meal in an authentic Japanese restaurant where no one spoke English except for us. The food was DELICIOUS and the portions were HUGE! Then we continued on to the Fifth Station.

Taiji is an exceptional tour guide: He was a very safe and capable driver. Even in the high traffic areas of Tokyo’s interstate, we felt we were in safe hands. His English is impeccable and he is extremely articulate. His manners are first rate and he was professional, observant and intuitive. He has a seemingly unending knowledge of Japanese history and culture.

Comments from activity operators

Thank you so much for giving me such an impressive comment.
You posted actually few days after my birthday and I felt like a gift for having the best comment I've ever had.

I felt like you found me at the right moment and we've had a wonderful day and you finally found your favorite picture of Mount Fuji at the end of the day. It was beautiful one and I'm also telling Mr. Tanaka that I will one day get one of his picture and bring it to my place.
I also learned from you about the shift of power in US from an objective angle and could have a fair understanding witch keeps on helping me every time I'm asked what I think of your new president from US guests.

Everything that took part of the service I did it because I don't think as a part of the job, but I myself enjoy or even love to do it and I appreciate so much that you could keep such good memory of the day.

I really hope that your wife is getting better and we will have the chance to meet again.

Mt. Fuji Tour with Lake Ashi Cruise and Ropeway Ride from Shinjuku or Shibuya

A good long day!

Reviewed by: John Paul, 2017/05/23

One very long day for us! The travel time from Tokyo to Mt. Fuji is much longer on weekends due to the traffic (so I suggest going on weekdays?). But since it's our first time to see Mt. Fuji up close, we enjoyed it - I guess, 30 minutes seems a little too short for everything that you may want to do there. We haven't got the chance to do the activities in Hakone *No idea how it is there* but, the alternative activities in Lake Kawaguchi (cruise and ropeway) turned out just fine. The meal is not that good, maybe because we had it late and it was prepared long before we arrived - again, because of the traffic. It's very nice that the tour guide is so kind, she really tried to communicate and do favors for guests as much as she could. Overall it was good.

Disappointing Day

Reviewed by: Sheila, 2017/05/23

The tour provider didn't foresee the traffic (we were on the road for almost 4 hours) which caused a domino-effect. We arrived in Mt. Fuji 5th Station at around 13:00. The view of Mt. Fuji made up for the long trip, but another cause of delay was some tourists who didn't return to the bus on time. We had late lunch at around 15:00, so that was not cool. It also resulted to change of schedule -- we weren't able to cruise at Lake Ashi and go on a cable car ride at Mt. Komagatake Ropeway. Instead, went on a cruise and ropeway at Kawaguchiko. After that, we went to Hakone-en Park but it was already dark, so we just had a quick stop (restroom break) then proceeded to the shinkansen station. I was disappointed, but at least we had a very nice tour guide who tried her best to appease us with her jokes and trivia. Shinkansen ride back to Tokyo was a fitting way to end a tiring day.

Nikko 1-Day Tour from Tokyo w/ Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Lake Chuzenji & Kegon Falls

Awesome tour

Reviewed by: Albert, 2017/05/16

This was a great tour. The guide was humorous and the spots were well chosen. The only downside was that I wish there was more time, because it felt like we were racing to get through as many spots as possible. If I were to visit Nikko or another "outside of Tokyo" site again, I'd probably plan to stay overnight because there is just too much to see in a single day.

Shinjuku to Mt Fuji

Reviewed by: Irena , 2017/05/15

15/05/2017, we found this tour very good! Meeting our tour guide was easy and we boarded a nice clean and comfortable bus. Our tour guide was Levin and he was very informative, funny and helpful. Our first stop was Lake Kawaguchi-ko where we were lucky enough to get a brief look at Mt Fuji and enjoyed a delicious freshly made blueberry soft cream (ice cream), we then went to the 8 ponds in Oshino Hakkai and drank from the fountain of youth which is mineral water from the volcanic area and saw carp swimming in the creater like ponds and took photos of some cherry blossom trees. We then drove to a ninja village where we ate japanese style lunch and took a photo with a ninja and joined in some ninja activities. Next stop was the 5th station where we were lucky enough to be able to be driven all the way to the top of the 5th station (it can be closed due to weather conditions), it was very cold and windy but was lovely to see Mt Fuji close up! We also received a special gift at this point and our final stop was a 4d movie experience which was very amazing technology and scenery of Mt Fuji and surrounding areas and quite fun. Throughout the trip our guide Levin was giving us facts about the areas and making the tour fun and interesting for us and was more than happy to answer our questions.
I would recommend this tour!

Hello

Reviewed by: Robert futsi, 2017/05/14

The trip was fine, we enjoyed each segment very much!
The 2 guides were also very nice and helpful!

The restaurant was just fine- not enough choise, and only fried food! Was acceptable but we expected a bit more choise and at least one kind of fish ?
On the wax back they left us in shinzuku- before booking we understood that we be driven to our hotels.
But generally speaking was overall just fine - I will also recommend my friends to take this tour once they travel to Tokyo!
The bus wasn't very comfortable
We expected something new was an old bus, and on the way back fm Mount Fuji , the guides just left us alone- they did not talked or gave further information Or whatsoever!

Thank you for having us JM yr tour- the fact that we had to pay 2 for 1 it made trip more convenient!

Otherwise price seems too high!

Hope to meet again in one of yr tours

Mt Fuji/Hakone and cruise on Lake Ashi

Reviewed by: Laura L., 2017/05/11

I have always wanted to see Mt. Fuji and this day tour did not disappoint on the visit. I enjoyed seeing the countryside and also the very impressive Bullet Train on the ride back to Tokyo.
I would skip at all costs the included lunch. It had been sitting out all prepared for some time when we arrived at the restaurant. The fried food was cold and the other parts of the meal were tasteless. It was not worth the money. My advice is pack a sack lunch and eat it outside where the view is pretty. Also, the cruise on Lake Ashi was fair. There were too many people crowding the railing of the boat and it was difficult to see the scenery if you are under 5 foot 5 inches! There were no available seats. This was a very long day trip and it would not be suitable for young children as they would be tired and bored. I am glad i saw Mt. Fuji and experienced the Bullet Train. I could have passed on the lunch and the cruise. My two companions were of the same opinion. One last comment, I felt rushed on this trip as we just made the last cable car ride and there was also a good deal of commotion getting everyone settled at the station where we caught the Bullet Train.

Amazing, amazing, amazing!!

Reviewed by: Emily, 2017/05/07

The entire trip was simply amazing. From the time we arrived, Jessica was already at the location giving us our bus seat number. We didn't have to scramble for seat especially when we were traveling in a group. The itinerary was well planned. There was information about Mt. Fuji being told along the way. We were super lucky to have a clear view of the majestic mountain at out first stop at Lake Kawaguchi. There was also a shop selling blueberry ice cream. A must try! Next stop was the Ninja village. We took many good pictures here with Mt Fuji as background. Love the pink cherry blossom trees which had not withered like those in Ueno Park. The lunch here was a simple buffet. Delicious and spread was good enough to fill our stomach. We then visited the Oshino 8 Seas and filled up three empty bottles with the fresh spring water. Clean. Didn't have any stomach upset after drinking. The souvenir shops here were cheaper and had many varieties. The 4D ride in Fuji Q was thrilling. Worth to try on such technology. Our finale was the fifth station. There were snow at the sides which my children had a snow ball fight. Small place but the close up view of the mountain was not something that I can easily forget! Kudos to Jessica and Kim who had taken good care of everyone. Such cheerful and knowledgeable guides!

As previews experience in countries I had visited, tour guides always tell us to come back on time or else you will be left behind. Time is so short, 20 minutes, that after visiting the toilet, half of it is gone thus enjoying the view is improbable.
The good part was professionalism of our guide, able to impart the basic aspect about the culture and history. The bus driver was good as well, he keep us safe.
