The arena's Sumo Museum displays important sumo items like woodblock prints, folding screens, and ceremonial aprons from the Edo period. Visit during a break in the matches.
Shop on the 1st and 2nd floors for fans, stationery, sweets, and sumo merchandise.

Enjoy chanko hot pot, the sumo wrestlers' traditional meal, in the large hall on the arena's basement floor (extra charges apply).
