- Any cancellations made between 18:00 local time, 15 business days to 18:00 local time, 3 business days prior to the activity will be subject to a charge of 20% of the total amount.
- Any cancellations made between 18:00 local time, 3 business days to 18:00 local time, 2 business days prior to the activity will be subject to a charge of 50% of the total amount.

Restrictions
- People with mobility issues are not permitted on the tour. Guests will be asked to sit down on the tatami or the wooden floor with a flat cushion for a couple hours in the sumo stable. Chairs are not available.
- In case the stable needs to accommodate as many visitors as they can, they may ask you for cooperation to wait at the entrance of the stable until other groups arrive.
Also, there may be a case where your private tour guide will be requested to be temporarily absent during the training session. - This activity is not wheelchair accessible.
- Guests using crutches, walking sticks, walkers, etc. are not permitted to participate in this activity.
- Children 12 years old and above can participate in this activity.
Other requirements
- Please keep in mind the following rules during the visit:
- A sumo stable is not a tourist facility. Sumo wrestlers train very hard and seriously. Please make sure to show respect to the stable master and wrestlers.
- Please watch the training quietly and do not walk around the stable.
- Please be quiet in the stable. Even whispering may disturb the wrestlers.
- Do not stand in the ring or on the sandy ground. - - At the entrance of the stable, please take off your shoes. Then sit cross-legged on the floor. Do not stretch your legs toward the ring. It is considered impolite to show the soles of your feet to the wrestlers.
- Please take off your hat and sunglasses.
- Do not eat, drink or smoke inside the stable.
- You can take photos during the training, but do not stand or move about. Do not use flash or cameras with loud shutter sound.
- Please turn off your mobile/cell phone. - - Once you start watching the training, you are supposed to stay until the wrestlers finish their training so please do not leave the stable while the training is ongoing.
Additional notes
- Fees for public transportation are included. However, there will be additional charges for the use of taxis or hired cars.
- The stable schedule is subject to change and may vary within duration of an hour to
2 hours. In case the training duration is only 1 hour, you will have time to walk around Ryogoku with your guide until the end of the tour. - Food, drinks, drop-off transportation and personal expenses are not included in the tour fare.
