Start the day at Tozando Shogoin Store, where you’ll learn about the development of karate from ancient martial arts.
You can watch a demonstration of Ryukyu kobujutsu weapon "sai" by Mr. Nagatomo Kenichiro and actually touch martial arts equipment.
Mr. Nagatomo Kenichiro is the chairman of the Nippon Karate-do Hayashiha Shitoryu-kai and a successor to traditional karate and kobujutsu. He holds a 9th dan in the kaiha and a 7th dan in the All Japan Karate Federation, and is also active as a judge and referee.
