A great introduction to the meaning and culture behind the tea ceremony

The tea ceremony room was beautiful. Instead of kneeling, we were provided with low stools which was very helpful for those with dodgy knees. The tea ceremony “mistress” was confident and passionate about her subject and helped us to understand the intricacies of the process. A very worthwhile experience.
