This was outstanding, well worth the money. 3 Maiko (geisha apprentices) came over, were introduced, spent time answering questions (through interpreter), sat with each of us for a photo, then each did a dance performance. It was the best night of our vacation. Not rushed, entire evening was wonderful. Dinner was multiple courses, plenty of traditional food (not to my taste), but I wasn't there for the food (: ....the setting was beautiful, riverside up in the hills. Definitely recommend this event and experience.

- Children (ages 0-5 years) will be able to participate for free under the following conditions.
Tour:
An individual seat will not be provided. Please have them sit on the lap of their parent or guardian. If there are seats available, they are welcome to use it, however they will not be getting a priority in seating.
An individual meal or snack will not be provided as well.
If you would like any of the above for children (ages 0-5 years), please book them as a child. - The river terrace venue is not accessible by wheelchair.
Additional notes
- The dining area is roofed, so the tour will run even in rainy conditions.
- Requests for specific seating arrangements cannot be accepted.
- After departing Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo, the shuttle will travel to several hotels in Kyoto City to pick up Japanese customers; however, the meeting and tour end location for this tour is Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo only. Participation from other hotels is not accepted.
- Please note that fireflies may not be seen due to the weather or other factors.
- Vegetarian meals are available and must be requested at the time of booking (5 business days in advance). Requests made any later may not be fulfilled.
