- Children (ages 0-5 years) will be able to participate for free under the following conditions.
Tour:
An individual seat will not be provided. Please have them sit on the lap of their parent or guardian. If there are seats available, they are welcome to use it, however they will not be getting a priority in seating.
An individual meal or snack will not be provided as well.
If you would like any of the above for children (ages 0-5 years), please book them as a child. - If less than 2 participants are booked, the activity may not operate.
Required items to bring & attire
- This is a walking tour, not a bus tour. Please wear shoes and clothes which are appropriate for walking.
Additional notes
- In case of flooding of the Uji River, the tour may not visit Nakanoshima Park.
- If the Phoenix hall at the Byodo-in Temple is too crowded, the tour may not be able to enter for safety reasons. In such cases, JPY 300 will be refunded on site.
- Public transportation will be used on this tour. All trains have non-reserved seats. Please note that seating is not guaranteed.
- The activity schedule is subject to change or cancellation due to weather or traffic conditions.
