Meet at Takayama Nohi Bus Center Ticket Counter.
Please present your voucher to the staff to receive your bus ticket and participation badge.
The Gokayama Ainokura village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, features 20 Gassho-Zukuri houses where people still live today. Most of the houses date back 100 to 200 years, with some said to have a history of 400 years.
A total of 114 Gassho-Zukuri houses still remain, creating a fairytale-like atmosphere. Enjoy exploring the village at your own pace and visit the Gassho-Zukuri Minkaen (admission included).
Please note that the Gassho-Zukuri Minkaen is closed on Thursdays.
The Gassho-Zukuri Folk Museum "Kanda House," built in the late Edo period.
(Optional visit, entrance fee: 300 JPY per adult)
Stroll through the village and discover local eateries offering specialties like handmade Hida soba and Ishiwari tofu!
Shirakawa-go Tenshukaku Observatory offers a breathtaking view of the Ogimachi Gassho-Zukuri Village with the Hakusan Mountain Range in the background. Enjoy the stunning scenery from this popular photo spot.
Guests who wish to leave the tour in Shirakawa-go may disembark here.
