投稿者: Jamie, 2016/08/27This was a great experience for us. The owner taught us so much about the history of fake food making, which was really interesting. Making the parfait was also easy with the instructions and quite a lot of fun. Finding this place was a bit of trouble, since Google Maps took us to the wrong location, so if following GPS, be careful of where it leads you. The English was not too bad at this place, so it is okay if you don't understand Japanese and the booking is in English too. Strongly recommended as price was good value.

ここは日本か？？？
投稿者: sugar, 2016/08/25事前に予約が困難なこと。外国人が多いことを聞いていました。直接予約をしても中々予約ができなかったのですがこのサイトからは簡単に予約ができました。また、車内は外国人が多く、集合場所はまるでパリのエッフェル塔での集合場所かな？と思わせるほど外国人が多かったです。当日は、天候にも恵まれ楽しい体験ができました。

Do this when in Tokyo!
投稿者: Meg, 2016/07/25This was again a very tricky place to find, but in a tiny studio there were 6 stations to work at and 6 students. We were given samples to look at and choose from. It was very tricky, but very doable if you choose something simple. Downstairs was a gallery of glass work that was incredible. Very awesome and well run class. Our instructor spoke English!

WOW! WHAT A BLAST!
投稿者: Meg, 2016/07/25It was a little tricky finding the studio, but once we were there, it was PERFECT! Our instructor was awesome- so very funny and talented. We made lettuce and tempura shrimp and pumpkin. It was so very fun! We loved it so much that we went down the street to another studio and signed up on the spot to take a class on how to make an ice cream parfait!

Great fun for the whole family...beautiful self-made souvenirs
投稿者: B Lau, 2016/06/29It was a wonderful experience for our family! The booking process on Veltra was straight forward and most importantly, in English. We decided to make mini ice cream sundaes as they were small and easy to bring home. We received the confirmation email on the very same day. On the actual day, the train line that we needed to take was down due to passenger injury. Thus we needed to change 5 different JR and metro lines to get to the place, instead of the original 2. We called Yamato sample workshop to inform them and they were very kind to wait for us. When we finally made our way there, we were pleasantly surprised that the instructor could speak English quite well. We could customised our sundaes by picking the colour and "fruits"we wanted. The instructor guided us step-by-step, and we found it really easy to follow his instructions. We were so proud of our own creation! If we were to visit Tokyo again, we would like to try own hands at making either a bowl of ramen or tempura prawns with lettuce. :)

Sumida river cruise
投稿者: Annie, 2016/06/12Lovely time for our group of 25! As we chartered the boat, we chose to go up the Sumida river rather than around Tokyo Bay, but still managed to fit in Skytree and Rainbow Bridge.
Even though we arrived unexcusably late, our host was lovely and started the clock from then on for the 2 hours...brilliant, friendly service on board, nice food.
A treat not only for our visitors but the locals as well, thouroughly recommend it!

Unique, fun and such lovely people

The owner showed us what to do and he and his wife were really lovely people, drawing us a map so we could get to our next port of call. This is such a unique experience and a fun Tokyo activity. The food looks so realistic!

お料理はとても美味しく、天ぷらは揚げたてを一種類づつ出してくれます。 特に穴子の天ぷらが美味しかったです。
スタッフさん達のサービスも良かったです！
景色も楽しめて、お台場、スカイツリーの近くではしばらく船を停めてくれるので、写真を撮ったり景色をゆっくり楽しむ事が出来ました。

Very Nice Experience!

It is a ery nice and complete experience. You can enjoy nice views of Tokyo Bay and a delicious traditional Japanese Dinner. The food was very fresh with Apetizers, sushis, nice tempura cooked on the boat (Vegetables, nice fishes), rice, dessert and open bar.
Nice views from the top of the boat. Few stops to make picturs of Tokyo Skey tree, Rainbow bridges. The staff is very nice and has special attention to guests. Very typical experience, not so many foreigners, lots of Japanese people. We were all very happy and there was a very good atmosphere among guests. I definitely recommend this experience!

A great experience!
投稿者: Joyce, 2016/04/19We participated in the ramen making activity. It was a fun experience and a highlight of our vacation to Tokyo. It was very easy to find the studio, located only minutes away from the subway station. We felt welcomed as soon as we entered the workshop. The instructor, who spoke English, was extremely polite, patient, and friendly. The project was very safe and easy. The final product looked delicious and good enough to eat! They also have some ready made samples of some other foods that one can purchase as well. Overall, this is a delightful activity that we highly recommend to those who want to try something different, especially something that is not typically offered in the United States.

首都高速道路を走った時は、迫力があってテンションが上がりました。スカイツリーが正面に見える所で長めに止まったので、写真もバッチリ撮れました。
ただ、防寒はしっかりしていないと、風を切って走るので寒いです。

投稿者: まりこ, 2016/03/14初めての江戸切子、たいへん緊張しましたが、レクチャーを受けつつ、最初はサンプルで練習もできるので、最終的には満足いく作品が出来上がります！
時間も90分ほどで出来上がり、不器用な方でも十分楽しめると思います。この模様を作ってみたい・・・と思うほど、のめりこみそうな不思議な時間でした。これをきっかけに日本文化に興味持てそうで、参加してとても良かったです。
