Fun and easy
投稿者: Ali, 2018/01/13The venue is small and a little hard to find but the staff is really nice and personable, with just four stations. We arrived a little late but the staff didn't mind. They speak enough English to explain the steps and also have small talk. We learned a little about the history and the process of plastic food and had a blast with the actual project. It was very laid back and relaxed. The process was easily explained and the staff made each step easy to follow as well. It went faster than we expected. I'd do it again!

簡単楽しい！良い思い出となりました

まずはグラス選びから。追加料金で色付きのグラスを選ぶこともできます。その後はデザインを決め、練習→本番。怪我をしないかとても不安でしたがその心配は不要で、想像より安全で平易な作業でした。
決してきれいな出来映えではなかったと思いますが、とにかく楽しくて大満足。このグラスでお酒を飲む度に今回の体験を思い出すんだろうなあ...と今からとても楽しみです！
（一階にあるグラスショップもとても素敵でした。大切なイベントの際にぜひ購入してみたいです）

Amazing Experience!!

Although, we do not speak Japanese, he was so gracious to speak to us in English and was easy to understand, so funny and engaging! I would recommend this workshop to anyone, it was definitely a highlight in our trip to Japan!

Wonderful Experience
投稿者: Paula, 2017/10/04The venue was easy to find, the signage outside made it clear we had arrived to our destination. The helpers were extremely sweet and enthusiastic about the history and process of food sample making. It took perhaps 30 minutes in total for the session-we chose to do the Full Size Parfait with 6 Pieces of Fruit. It was very quick. All of the pieces were pre-made. All we focused on was creating the parfait base and swirl. Very straightforward, fun little craft, also great souvenir to take home. Was just under the impression the process would be a bit more hands on - perhaps with the other options available? Interesting experience, would recommend to others to try at least once.

意外と難しいところがやりがいがあった！
投稿者: まるこ, 2017/09/17装飾部分は出来ているものを使用するが、土台とソフトクリームの部分は絞り袋から絞りだし加工する。力量によって出来上がりの見栄えが左右されるけれど、遠目で見ると上手に見える。そして、費用対効果は抜群である。

I am in love with my new little piece of art and I would recommend this opportunity to anyone who wants an experience different than the tourist spots. (It is a bit tough to find...when you arrive at street level, walk straight ahead about 10-15 feet and turn right onto the street. It looks like an alley, but it is not. Look for small blue signs with the house number. When you find the store that sells glass and crystal ware, you have arrived. The location/house is on your left side.)

最初にグラスを決めたあと、軽く機械の説明を受けたらすぐに練習用グラスで実践。
えっ、もうやるの？とドキドキでした（笑）
最初は下手でしたが、徐々に出来るようになって、自分の好きなデザインをグラスに刻めるようになりました。
マイペースに作業できて楽しかったです。
先生も話を聞きやすい場所にいて下さるので、とても嬉しい環境でした！
自分で作ったためにとても愛着の持てるグラスに仕上がりました！

でも、失敗してもお兄さんが直してくれます(笑)
最終的には、満足のいくものになりましたよ。
あと三回くらいやったら、慣れて上手になるかなあ。といったところです。

The owners were absolutely lovely, gave us a brief history on food models and then we got into the activity. We made mini parfait photo clips and got to choose 5 toppings before assembling everything. I would love to do this again if i was back in tokyo!

Plastic Food Workshop

The staff's English was no problem to understand, and the mixture of history within the workshop was interesting as well. Plastic food goods can be found all over Japan, including being sold as souvenirs at certain stores, so having the opportunity to make your own is a lot more memorable than buying one in a shop!

浅草で江戸切子ガラスを初体験！

浅草駅から徒歩5分圏内。浅草観光の空き時間にも利用できます。
まずは好きなグラスを選び、先生と相談しながらデザインを決め、下絵を書きます。
私は伝統的な柄ではなく、深めのラインのみを選択しました。
基本のカットを練習してから、いざ本番！
手ほどきを受けて回転する刃に恐る恐るグラスをあてます。
少しずつ力加減が分かり深く彫れるようになりましたが、長めのラインを真っ直ぐにカットするのが難しい。何回か繰り返して完成。
体験が出来て、グラスを持ち帰れるので、お土産や記念になります。
次回は伝統的な模様にも挑戦したいと思います。

投稿者: いずみん, 2017/06/03海外から来ていた同僚と一緒に9名でお世話になりました。１人が生ものがNG、１人がベジタリアンのため事前に相談したところ、刺身の代わりにローストビーフ、ベジタリアンのスタッフには新鮮な野菜の天ぷらをご用意いただき、本当に感謝です。
お刺身やカニ、天ぷらはもちろんのこと、最後に出していただいたアサリご飯と味噌汁の美味しさは感動ものです！心のこもった美味しい料理をご馳走さまでした。
また利用させていただきます！

But on top of everything else, I enjoyed the Japanese cuisine and unlimited drinks! Also a plus was the Haagen Dazs boat selling varied ice cream flavors. :)
