Amazing Experience!!
投稿者: Muriel Kuroda, 2017/10/16My two girls and I had an amazing time making ice cream sundaes!! Our host was so kind and ever so patient with my kids. Although, we do not speak Japanese, he was so gracious to speak to us in English and was easy to understand, so funny and engaging! I would recommend this workshop to anyone, it was definitely a highlight in our trip to Japan!

Wonderful Experience
投稿者: Paula, 2017/10/04The venue was easy to find, the signage outside made it clear we had arrived to our destination. The helpers were extremely sweet and enthusiastic about the history and process of food sample making. It took perhaps 30 minutes in total for the session-we chose to do the Full Size Parfait with 6 Pieces of Fruit. It was very quick. All of the pieces were pre-made. All we focused on was creating the parfait base and swirl. Very straightforward, fun little craft, also great souvenir to take home. Was just under the impression the process would be a bit more hands on - perhaps with the other options available? Interesting experience, would recommend to others to try at least once.

意外と難しいところがやりがいがあった！
投稿者: まるこ, 2017/09/17装飾部分は出来ているものを使用するが、土台とソフトクリームの部分は絞り袋から絞りだし加工する。力量によって出来上がりの見栄えが左右されるけれど、遠目で見ると上手に見える。そして、費用対効果は抜群である。

投稿者: J_L, 2017/09/12The experience was great. The instructor knew a lot of English and was a good teacher; she worked with me to design my own custom piece. I am in love with my new little piece of art and I would recommend this opportunity to anyone who wants an experience different than the tourist spots. (It is a bit tough to find...when you arrive at street level, walk straight ahead about 10-15 feet and turn right onto the street. It looks like an alley, but it is not. Look for small blue signs with the house number. When you find the store that sells glass and crystal ware, you have arrived. The location/house is on your left side.)

最初にグラスを決めたあと、軽く機械の説明を受けたらすぐに練習用グラスで実践。
えっ、もうやるの？とドキドキでした（笑）
最初は下手でしたが、徐々に出来るようになって、自分の好きなデザインをグラスに刻めるようになりました。
マイペースに作業できて楽しかったです。
先生も話を聞きやすい場所にいて下さるので、とても嬉しい環境でした！
自分で作ったためにとても愛着の持てるグラスに仕上がりました！

難しい‼️
投稿者: ようこ, 2017/08/20思うように削ることができないもどかしさ。そして、結構時間と集中力が必要とされます。
でも、失敗してもお兄さんが直してくれます(笑)
最終的には、満足のいくものになりましたよ。
あと三回くらいやったら、慣れて上手になるかなあ。といったところです。
いい記念品になり、よかったです。

でも、私と娘には、ちょっと簡単なだったかな？あっという間にできてしまったので、もう少し上級、自分で個々の材料も作って、パフェとかできるといいなと思いました。チャレンジしてみたいです。

Fantastic
投稿者: Tessa, 2017/07/03After spending a minth in japan this was one of my favourite things to do. I would definitely reccomend this activity for any tourists. The owners were absolutely lovely, gave us a brief history on food models and then we got into the activity. We made mini parfait photo clips and got to choose 5 toppings before assembling everything. I would love to do this again if i was back in tokyo!

Plastic Food Workshop
投稿者: Taylor, 2017/06/29This was a fun and unique experience I don't think I would get the chance to try anywhere else. The staff's English was no problem to understand, and the mixture of history within the workshop was interesting as well. Plastic food goods can be found all over Japan, including being sold as souvenirs at certain stores, so having the opportunity to make your own is a lot more memorable than buying one in a shop!

浅草で江戸切子ガラスを初体験！
投稿者: 50代女性, 2017/06/16約1時間半でオリジナルグラスが出来ました。
浅草駅から徒歩5分圏内。浅草観光の空き時間にも利用できます。
まずは好きなグラスを選び、先生と相談しながらデザインを決め、下絵を書きます。
私は伝統的な柄ではなく、深めのラインのみを選択しました。
基本のカットを練習してから、いざ本番！
手ほどきを受けて回転する刃に恐る恐るグラスをあてます。
少しずつ力加減が分かり深く彫れるようになりましたが、長めのラインを真っ直ぐにカットするのが難しい。何回か繰り返して完成。
体験が出来て、グラスを持ち帰れるので、お土産や記念になります。
次回は伝統的な模様にも挑戦したいと思います。

Food, glorious fake food!

Enjoyable hands-on experience
投稿者: Peter Lam, 2017/04/27Fun-filled two hours learning how to assemble a bowl of Japanese raman noodles food sample. The instructor Mr Saito is very friendly and helpful. We talked half in English and Japanese (my broken Japanese simply makes the class even more funnier.)
Really realistic food sample. All semi-finished parts and tools are well-prepared waiting for me when I arrived at the workshop.
Good for children to adults, in particular for those who would like to have some interactive hands-on experience.

Unique, fun experience

The workshop is a bit out of the way, but located in a very pleasant residential neighborhood--nice for a stroll away from the busy Tokyo tourist sites. Very good price, since you'd easily pay more just to buy a "sampuru" much less make your own.

Fun for families and groups!
投稿者: VScott, 2017/04/11We really enjoyed making plastic sample Ramen. Our instructor had a lot of knowledge about the process and was a lot of fun. All of the employees were nice.
The location was easy to find. We were greeted at the door and began work on our ramen. The process was easy and and gave a great result. All three of our bowls of ramen looked different and reflected our ramen artistry. :-)
A family with younger children came in later to make colorful parfaits, they also had a great time.
I would highly recommend this for families, groups, couples and singles. The sample food makes a great souvenir from Japan. Be sure to pick up a few extra pieces for friends at home.

ミニパフェクリップは、簡単だろうっと思っていたのですが、思ったよりも力が必要でした。
完成したものは、さずがシリコンだけあって、丈夫で大満足です♪

とても気さくなインストラクターの方で、楽しく体験することができました。
ただ･･･残念な事に、ロウ細工はとても繊細で、出来上がった時は完璧な形だったのですが、今は、天かすだらけになってしまいました（笑）
事前にちゃんと説明していただいていたので、慎重に扱っていたつもりなのですが･･･(^^ゞ
コーティング剤とかがあれば嬉しかったです。

Excellent and Interesting Workshop!
投稿者: Yuki, 2017/03/12This is a really interesting workshop, and at the end of the day you get to take your creation home. We did the Ice Cream Sundae workshop.
The workshop leader does speak a bit of English, and they try their best to communicate with you to ensure you are on the right track. They are very patient and really doesn't push you to make a decision quickly when choosing specific ingredients (...we can't choose from so many cute things lol). We felt relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed the workshop.
The location itself is easy to find, and if you arrive a little early, you can always chill at the Lawson (convenient store) to grab a bite. Overall highly recommended :)
