また、海の上を走っている際、ユリカモメたちがたくさん近くに来ます。餌をあげることができます。ユリカモメたちが周りを囲んで一緒に進んでくれるのが、きれいで楽しい体験となりました。

4歳の甥っ子と参加しましたが、子どもにも終始笑顔で丁寧に教えてくださりとてもありがたかったです！
甥っ子は出来上がったパフェサンプルでごっこ遊びを楽しんでいるようです。とても嬉しそうで体験させて本当に良かったです。子どもだけでなく、私自身もとても楽しかったのでまた機会があれば別のサンプル作りに挑戦したいです。ありがとうございました。

Very friendly staff, worthy every moment spent here.

The staff is very friendly and patience in introducing the activity, as well as some history of the Food Sample Culture in Japan, which is a bonus point. You can tell he is very enthusiastic and enjoying this experience. Just an extra note, we communicated without any issue in English.
You get to choose your five pieces of colourful assorted accessories for your sundae. The cup of the sundae and the colourful jam at the bottom will be provided. You have to first fill up the base of the sundae cup, then the twirling cream at the top and place your assortments as you wish. The staff carefully checked every steps of the process, also fix any errors professionally. You will be guarenteed a outstanding food sample even for your first try.
As for the advice for future participants, since it takes a while for the food sample to dry off, it is better you plan your activites accordingly. Although, the staff did carefully stabilised the food samples in a provided paper box (in a very meticulous way, props to that) and bag so it was not an issue for us.

You get to choose your five pieces of colourful assorted accessories for your tart and squeeze the "cream" of the tart. The tart base and the accessories are provided. You will be informed for every tiny details to produce a perfect looking tart. I am sure you will be amazed how meticulous it can be for such a simple-looking task.

私は1人で申し込みましたが、個々のグラスの絵柄毎にアドバイスを頂けるので、1人参加でも友人や家族単位でも楽しく参加できるところが良いです。
申込前にベルトラのレビューを見て、練習する時間を多く取ると本番が足りないとのコメントが多かったので少し心配でしたが、実際に体験してみると、ちゃんと良いものを作るためには練習が必要だし、練習の線でも凄く丁寧にアドバイスを頂けて本番の自分のグラスに取り組めたので練習は大事かなと思いました。
これから参加するかたが時間を考えるのなら、自分が納得するまで練習するというより、練習の線を削る都度に先生に確認してもらって的確なアドバイスを頂いて本番に臨むのが良いと思います。
自分が体験してとても楽しかったので、東京観光に来る友人に勧めたいと思いますし、私もまた参加して今回作ったのと色違いのペアグラスを作りたいなと思いました。

期待していただけに！
投稿者: わすけ, 2020/01/04期待していただけに、拍子ぬけでした。バスは運河に入りましたがバスが入った所から離れず、周辺を1周し同じ所から上がり帰って来ました。観光というよりも、水陸両用車の体験でした。小さなお子さんは喜んでいましたが、色々な運河を通り運河から都内観光が出来ると思っていたので、拍子ぬけでした。ガイドさんは一生懸命頑張ってました。ありがとうございました。

One of the best team outing ever! チームビルディングの一環としていい経験となりました。

We had office exchange colleague from Germany and the explanation/instructions were very easy to follow.
Pros:
-venue close to the station
-easy to understand instructions in English
-lots of glasses to chose from
-can take your "art work" home on the day
-though it involves cutting and carving, it was very safe
-everyone was very happy with the finished work
-very photogenic
-many interesting places to eat out afterwords (good location)
-lots of fun and it is beutiful
Cons:
-could only use cash for paying on the day
-any discount prices for second time on words?
-many not be so good for a team of more than 6 at a time since they only have 6 cutting machines
-90 min may not be enough time if you want to make more than one

少人数で説明も丁寧でした。初めに星を3つ掘る練習の時間があって、好きなグラスで本番です。デザインは机上のサンプルから好きなデザインを選びます。なかなか見本のようにできませんが、大きな修正はスタッフの方がごまかしてくれました。
色付きのグラスは追加料金が発生します。

投稿者: ちにー, 2019/09/28練習時間は少しあります。ただ、練習時間を延ばすと本番が短くなるだけです。
練習では、
・まっすぐに深めの線を作る。
・怖がらずにゆっくり強めに回転ヤスリをグラスに押し当てる。
・溝がキレイなV字型に。
なるように心がけて、少しコツを掴んだらすぐに本番の下書きと削りに入った方がよいです。
溝のV字型が深く彫れていないと、影ができずにのっぺりとした仕上がりになり江戸切子の美しさが出ません。
ポイント消化のためと予約したツアーでしたが、成果品も持ち帰れて使っていけますし、お値段以上の楽しいツアーでした。
もう一度作ればきっともっと上手にできる…と…思います…。

Interesting class, nice tutor.
投稿者: Maggie Leung, 2019/05/30The tutor is so nice and his English is easy to understand. We feel a little bit strange when we are on the way because it is located in residential area. However, the image changed when we get into the classroom.
The tools are well prepared, instructions are clear, the tutor is very nice. And the most important thing is we like our product so much!
Just one concerning point for foreigners that we need to buy some boxes to store our product well. Or else, we are not able to bring them to our home safely since we need to take flight.
The total experience is amazing. I will recommend it to my friends. I'd also like to try other food sample classes from this tutor when I travel to Tokyo later.

とっても楽しかったです。

説明から作業して帰るまで60分でした。
すごくわかりやすく説明してくださりとてもスムーズに作業できました。
完全に乾くまでに1日はかかるとのことでした。
次の日、ホテルから自宅に送るスーツケースには入れずリュックに入れて持ち歩きました。ちゃんと箱に入れて固定してくださっているので街歩き程度では全く崩れずに綺麗に持ち帰ることが出来ました。
8年ぶりに再会した友達6人と楽しく作れて素敵な思い出ができました。
店内のサンプルを持って写真撮影したり、それも楽しかったです。
次は他のサンプルも作ってみたいと思います。

Fun Plastic Craft in Tokyo
投稿者: Stevie, 2019/04/24This workshop was easy to find, using google maps. It is a small, family-run business. We were welcomed warmly and given excellent instructions on how to put together our sample foods. My husband created sushi, my daughter (8) and I made sundaes.
We all had a great time, love our unique souvenirs, and would recommend this experience to others. It takes about a day to dry/set, but is well packaged for flying home.
The sample industry is 90+ years old, so taking part in this is trying a piece of Japanese culture.

These can also be made by younger children - we think. It s a fun experience for the entire family. Our children found it one of the best things of all in Tokyo :)

Fun family experience
投稿者: David, 2019/04/17The owner and staff were extremely nice and helpful during our time creating fake desserts. We got to make our own designs and the instructor explained the whole process and helped guide my kids in creating their own Ice cream sundaes. The owner also showed us different foods and types of samples and their history. Going from wax to now PVC and plastics. We enjoyed their hospitality and the experience overall was awesome. Kids couldn’t wait until there samples were dry which took only 24 hours. They packaged it up in protective boxes for us for the train ride back to our hotel. Definitely recommend!

Great hands on project for families!
投稿者: matin, 2019/04/08The crew at the workshop were super enthusiastic. We had a blast and actually stayed for the next session -- ramen -- based on my 10-year old's pleas to do more. Definitely going back next time we are in Tokyo. Lot of fun and went home with great souvenirs and memories.

Excellent for day-trips or as a short activity!

The location was much smaller than I expected, about the size of a studio apartment. There are "blanks" you can use to help you plan the layout of your sample. There's some room for error, so it's ok if you don't get everything how you want it the first time.
It took about 45 min for us to finish our samples. Bigger samples, like ramen and tempura looked like they'd take closer to 90 mins. This activity would be perfect between major plans, like killing time in the afternoon before dinner plans, or as a detour from Ikebukuro.
Advice: tie back long hair and wear short sleeves.
