緊張したけど楽しかった
投稿者: Kicchan, 2017/01/01学生時代グライダーに乗っていた。それで興味が湧き超久しぶりに操縦桿を握った。先生もその昔グライダーに乗っていたとのことで話が合った。操縦席全体が動くわけではないので本格的なシュミレータではありません。でっかいビデオゲームみたいな感覚もありますが、すべて本物なのでリアル感は相当です。エルロンの操作だけで旋回する。ラダーを操作しなくてもよかった。その辺の感覚がグライダーと違って新鮮でもあった。

Fun and Unique - A must!
投稿者: Ellie , 2016/11/11We had no idea what to expect for this experience but we were pleasantly surprised. We each made a plastic parfait and it was so much fun. Our teacher was super friendly and encouraging, and he spoke English well. It's a little bit out of the way from the centre of Tokyo, but worth the trip. Definitely give this a go if you have some spare time and want something unique.

Great experience and friendly staff, this is the place to go
投稿者: Kenton, 2016/10/21Went with wife and mother. Very friendly staff. We were helped by a younger fellow who was very nice. No problem with the language barrier. Everyone had a good time. If you want to try your hand at making fake food, this is the place to visit. Afterward, they boxed our creations very securely so we can transport them safely home. It takes a day to cure, so try to give yourself time so it can survive the flight back.

Meet the fluffy owls♡
投稿者: Miho, 2016/09/07There were some people lined up at the entrance but we were able to check in without waiting since we'd made an advance reservation through veltra! The cafe was relatively small but very cozy and they had tatami seats that you could enjoy your drink. It took me a while to get comfortable enough to pet them, but when I did, I found out they’re really soft and ADORABLE. The attentive staff would place the owl on your shoulder or head if you like! This owl cafe guarantees you a truly amazing experience. Don't forget your camera!

A wonderful day
投稿者: Vanessa, 2016/09/04The staff there is very nice, friendly, patient and helpful. The workshop is also very interesting with detailed explanations. They always try to let you participate in as many steps as possible. Also, they pack your lovely food samples with good care. I am particularly impressed by how firendly and helpful our workshop tutor is - he tells us how to get to the nearest station in the most convenient and cheapest way with a printed map, and immediately looks for and recommends me a great udon shop when we tell him we would like to have udon as our lunch. He also speaks slowly to pander to my standard of Japanese. We really enjoy chatting with him much :)! It is definitely one of the most remarkable and marvelous memories throughout our journey. They are undoubtedly the loveliest people I have ever met in Tokyo. Thank you so much for giving us such a wonderful day in Tokyo.

Cute Owl Cafe in Harajuku
投稿者: Lalaport, 2016/08/29On the weekend I went with friends to an owl cafe for the first time in Harajuku. The staff were very nice and tried hard to speak English with us.
The owls were really cute. You can touch them and even let them perch on your arm. One owl named Haku perched on my hat and refused to move! haha If I have the chance, I'd like to go again!

Informative and Fun
投稿者: Jamie, 2016/08/27This was a great experience for us. The owner taught us so much about the history of fake food making, which was really interesting. Making the parfait was also easy with the instructions and quite a lot of fun. Finding this place was a bit of trouble, since Google Maps took us to the wrong location, so if following GPS, be careful of where it leads you. The English was not too bad at this place, so it is okay if you don't understand Japanese and the booking is in English too. Strongly recommended as price was good value.

投稿者: Mama, 2016/08/17小1の娘と夏休みの自由工作にミニパフェを作りに行きました。いつも飽きっぽい娘が、夢中になってクリームを絞り、飾りを何にしようか悩んで悩んで可愛いパフェが出来上がりました。夏休みの宿題として学校に提出するなら、お友達が触って壊れないようにケースに入れるといいですよとスタッフさんにアドバイスいただき、100均で買ったプラケースの中に飾りました。可愛いと好評でしたよ。

Had a great time meeting the owls

We spent nearly one hour with those cute owls, most of them were very social and let us touch them, we even put them on our hand or shoulder. This was a very good experience, and we highly recommend it to everyone.

Great Owl Experience!!

The cafe is pretty near the JR harajyuku station. It is small but lovely.
And the staffs are friendly, too. They can also speak a little English and they provide English instructions to read, so there's no need to worry!
Off course the owls are so lovely! We all had a great time with these cute owls.
And I would love to take my other friends to visit them again!

Edo Kiriko Glass Cutting Experience in Asakusa
Do this when in Tokyo!
投稿者: Meg, 2016/07/25This was again a very tricky place to find, but in a tiny studio there were 6 stations to work at and 6 students. We were given samples to look at and choose from. It was very tricky, but very doable if you choose something simple. Downstairs was a gallery of glass work that was incredible. Very awesome and well run class. Our instructor spoke English!

WOW! WHAT A BLAST!
投稿者: Meg, 2016/07/25It was a little tricky finding the studio, but once we were there, it was PERFECT! Our instructor was awesome- so very funny and talented. We made lettuce and tempura shrimp and pumpkin. It was so very fun! We loved it so much that we went down the street to another studio and signed up on the spot to take a class on how to make an ice cream parfait!

Great fun for the whole family...beautiful self-made souvenirs
投稿者: B Lau, 2016/06/29It was a wonderful experience for our family! The booking process on Veltra was straight forward and most importantly, in English. We decided to make mini ice cream sundaes as they were small and easy to bring home. We received the confirmation email on the very same day. On the actual day, the train line that we needed to take was down due to passenger injury. Thus we needed to change 5 different JR and metro lines to get to the place, instead of the original 2. We called Yamato sample workshop to inform them and they were very kind to wait for us. When we finally made our way there, we were pleasantly surprised that the instructor could speak English quite well. We could customised our sundaes by picking the colour and "fruits"we wanted. The instructor guided us step-by-step, and we found it really easy to follow his instructions. We were so proud of our own creation! If we were to visit Tokyo again, we would like to try own hands at making either a bowl of ramen or tempura prawns with lettuce. :)

奥多摩ラフティング最高〜！
投稿者: たかこ, 2016/05/09奥多摩ラフティング 水が本当に綺麗で景色も最高で東京都内で自然を満喫しました。5月4日 GWに近場で楽しめるところはないかと探してて、本当に最高に楽しめました。自然の中での運動が好きな私達には最高のアクティビティでした！
海外で1回だけラフティングをやった事がありますが、水の綺麗さは比べものにならないし、ウェットスーツ等 用具も全部綺麗で さすが海外とは違うな〜と感じました。更衣室やシャワーも整ってるし、ラウンジもお弁当を持って行ってラフティング前にゆっくり食べるスペースもあり、ラフティング後はラウンジのテレビでスライドショーをその場で観れ、写真のデータもダウンロード出来るし、至れり尽くせりなところが さすが日本です。
何より、ラフティングの後のビールは最高でした！
天気も最初雨予報で心配していましたが 夏のような天気で 景色も新緑が気持ち良く本当に参加して良かったと思いました。
適度な川の流れとスリルも味わえるラフティングコースで小学生から幅広い年代で楽しめるし、ぜひまた参加したいと思いました。違う季節も また違う景色が見れて また楽しめそうだし。
