An amazing and unique experience!
投稿者: kaywaiian , 2024/04/20We had a magnificent time with our instructor for the food class! He was instructive, patient, and made the experience the best it could be. You can really tell he loves what he does, and teaching people about it. If we ever come back to Japan, we will definitely be taking another class.
I also want to note: these classes can be taken in English is need be. Our instructor apologized for his “bad English” - and then spoke perfect English the whole time. I was like “no- WE apologize for OUR bad Japanese >_<“
Great fun for all ages. I took my husband and his guy friend, and they loved it more than they thought. Just 10/10 experience.

Amazing experience!
投稿者: Lexi, 2024/04/16I booked this experience for my boyfriend's birthday as he's a big fan of plastic food, so we wanted to learn how to make it and try it out for ourselves. If you're worried that this experience may only be fun for kids or families, we're both in our early 30s and had a really fun time of it!
The owner told us about the history of the craft while he taught us how to make our plastic fried rice, and it was really interesting to learn about!
They have a lot of fun trinkets and jewelry for sale as well that make amazing gifts for friends and family!
Would highly recommend this experience for anyone interested.

Booking online was straight-forward and easy as well :) Do note that to purchase additional in-store merchandise (sample food made by the store eg keychains) require cash, which we unfortunately did not bring. Otherwise, the course itself was engaging, straight-forward, and fun even for adults. Would definitely recommend!

丁寧に教えていただきました

材料費をもう少し支払っても良いので、複数個制作体験ができるとコツが掴めてくるかなと思います。5歳くらいの子には時間的にちょうど良いのかもしれません。
食材サンプルの100年前からのお話をお聞きし、大人も楽しめます。おすすめです。

Excellent and fun activity
投稿者: Renee, 2024/03/30Looking for something to do other than visiting temples, sightseeing, eating, or shopping? Show off your creative talent (you really dont need any!) by making your own sample food. This is a great family activity geared to all ages and skill levels and you learn a bit about the history of sample food. Keep in mind that you are not making samples from scratch. Rather some items such as the noodles and toppings are pre-made and you're basically molding them and placing the items to create your final product. Our group created different items - sushi candle, fried rice, Ramen and pizza clock - and everyone was thrilled with our creations! What a great souvenir to take home. Staff was very friendly, kind, supportive, and more importantly, patient in helping all of us. Try it out for yourself!

A great activity
投稿者: MB, 2024/03/17I received a warm welcome and the workshop was comfortable. My guide was kind and knowledgeable and happily helped me when I needed it.
I was pleased with my end product (the ramen bowl) and my guide packaged it very well in a secure box.
I would come back again to complete some of the other food options like the parfait.
I definitely recommend this activity. It doesn't take too long, isn't very messy and the end result looks great.

Some of the materials were ready to go, so do not expect the satisfaction of crafting something from scratch, but its difficulty is suitable for travellers.
You should also read the posters on the wall, and you could see some advice from previous players.
I'd rate the experience 10/10!
(Personally think fried rice is more enjoyable than ramen)

じいじとばあばと結婚記念日祝いのマグカップを手びねりで作りました。お手本のカップよりかなりボリューミィなカップが完成しましたが、先生が優しくわかりやすく丁寧に教えてくださったので、息子も私も大満足です。
最後に文字や絵を入れられるのもよかったです。
完成が楽しみです。
工房内や、お手洗いに先生のちょっとした作品が飾られていて、とても可愛いかったです。

Very fun!

I laughed when one of the staff members to please flatten the ramen noodles like a frisbee. These are awesome souvenirs and me and the boyfriend enjoyed it a lot. It's a unique experience for sure. The class itself doesn't take too long, maybe 30-40 minutes? It depends on how many things you're making and if the instructor is busy. If you have the chance, i highly recommend this experience! You take your product home right away, they packaged my deluxe parfait very carefully in a box and then into a bag to take home. It'll take 24 hours for the silicone (the "whipped cream" to fully harden.

軽くて柔らかくて可愛いお財布
投稿者: H.A, 2024/01/01ポイントを使いたくて体験してきましたが、色を選べる箇所が多くて、選ぶだけでも楽しかったです。
本体で2色、チャック、ボタン裏の補強パーツ2箇所をそれぞれ選べました。
最初は使いやすいベーシックな色にしようかと思っていましたが、せっかく作るならお店であまり売ってなさそうな色にしようと派手目にしちゃいました。
作業は難しいところはやっていただけるし、力加減が難しい部分は事前に失敗例をやって見せてくれたり練習させてくれたりするので、スムーズに作ることができます。
革の説明も丁寧にしてくださり、今まで布と同じようにしか見ていなかった革が動物だったんだというのをすごくリアルに感じられ、より大切にしようと思えました。
お財布はちょっと大きめなのでポーチとして使うのもありのようです。
もしネックレス引っかけられるとこがあったら携帯アクセサリーケースにしてたかも。
愛着わき過ぎてお財布として使うのが勿体なくなってしまい、何に使うか悩み中です！笑

He stayed with us for the entire time, letting us do all the different steps while lending a helping hand to keep us on track. He spoke very good English and used a translator app to explain more intricate parts of the process. We came away feeling like we had learned a great deal, and with beautiful plastic food souvenirs to take with us. Definitely recommend this experience for anyone visiting the area!

投稿者: Selena, 2023/11/15We had so much fun taking this class. It's a small, family-run shop about a 5 minute walk from the Kita-Ikebukuro train station. They gave good instructions in english on the voucher, so we had no problem finding it. Our teacher was really helpful and spoke great english- we had some good laughs using the translator app too. We chose the ramen class and loved our creations. Fun, simple, creative thing to do in Tokyo- would recommend to anyone! Very approchable business, we felt totally comfortable.
