投稿者: はまさん, 2018/08/19川床だけでなく、舞妓さんにも会えるという「２度おいしい」ツアーです。舞妓さんは３人来てくれました。各テーブルに回ってきてくれるので、気さくにおしゃべりを楽しむことができました。舞もすぐ近くで見ることができて最高でした。前回は食事がすき焼きだったので、今回は懐石にしてみました。鱧おとしや鮎の塩焼きなど、夏らしい料理で良かったです。また、今回はちょうど抽選会(３と５のつく日)があって、ワクワク感を楽しめました！（何も当たりませんでしたが…(^^;)）

投稿者: AKCH, 2018/07/27It was a very nice experience with a young Maiko. If you are interested and you know already the life and their habits, it is a no-brainer (go for it). If you don’t know anything you may be a bit tense during the discussion with the Maiko. In the past, this was impossible (still 10 years ago). Today some Okia (place where the Maiko and Geiko are living) has open to foreigners as they will likely not continue in 30 years. This culture will end slowly unfortunately.

Fantastic dinner and show

They really enjoyed the meal of Shabu Shabu and felt the meat was tender and delicious. They really enjoyed meeting the Maiko and admiring her beautiful clothing and make up as well as her dancing. They staff were all very friendly and the included transport back to their hotel was very convenient.

1人でも楽しめた！けど。。
投稿者: まいまい, 2018/06/18ずっとお座敷遊びをやってみたいと思ってたので、1人で参加しました。
しかも、やりたい遊びが扇を的に当てるやつと決まっていて、それが出来るとの事で楽しみにしていきました。
実際行ってみると、意外と8割は日本人の参加者で、外国人だらけだと思ってたのでビックリしました。
今回、3種類のお座敷遊びを体験出来るとの事でしたが、参加出来るのはまさかの抽選で当たった人のみ！
たまたまお目当ての遊びに当たったので良かったものの、それをやる為に参加したのに抽選で外れてたかもと思うと少し不満が残りました。
でも抽選なので、1人で参加でも遊びの対戦相手を選んで貰えるし、他の遊びも見ることが出来て楽しかったです。
これがやりたい！と決めていかなければ、充実出来ると思います。

Definitely a highlight of our trip
投稿者: Susan , 2018/06/15We were so glad that we decided to purchase this dinner. The restaurant have an amazing view of the river and eating at the kawandoko (terrace on top of the river) is an experience not to be missed. We got the shabu shabu meal and it was perfect since when we went, it was raining and cold, so it was the perfect warming up meal for us.
The maiko came at around 7 and talk to each of the table, take photos and answer a few simple questions. She can't speak well in English, but she can understand if you speak basic English and very slowly. Then she performed 2 dances, they both very elegant and beautiful.
At around 8 pm, the restaurant switch off the lights, so that we can watch fireflies around the riverside. Apparently this is only happens in June. It was truely an amazing and unforgettable experience for both of us.
The pick up and return transfer is pretty efficient too, very happy overall. Definitely would recommend!

Rare Opportunity to Watch Geisha
投稿者: MaryWilder, 2018/06/13I would recommend this show to anyone who is in Kyoto during the performance period and who would like to see authentic geisha. The costumes and dances were beautiful and well worth the expense. Know beforehand that the show has speaking parts in Japanese with no translation, but an English programme is available for purchase. I opted for electronic tickets through VELTRA and had no issues picking up tickets from the box office. Our tickets included a tea ceremony, where we received delicious tea, a sweet, and a souvenir plate.

ちょっとセレブな大人旅
投稿者: ゆうこりん, 2018/06/12特に、大人の女性におススメ！女子力アップ間違いなしのツアーです。新緑の貴船。そこは、かつて貴族が涼を求め、山を越えて行った憧れの避暑地。吊り橋の下は清流。滝と川のせせらぎ、カジカの鳴き声。美味しい山の幸、海の幸。そして、舞妓さんとの触れ合いと踊りの鑑賞。最後の締めは、蛍鑑賞など、全てのものが普段では味わえないとても貴重な体験。お店の皆様もとても感じが良く、気持ち良かったです。とても楽しめました。本当にありがとうございました。

Breathtaking experience!
投稿者: C. Yao, 2018/06/11This trip was very pleasant experience. I was there with my mom and we both enjoyed very much. Food was great. Two people share a hot pot, with one big plate of Japanese beef and one plate of vegetable! The highlight was to watch Maikos dance in a very close distance! I can see her holding her pose and dancing slow but gracefully. It is breathtaking! I would say this is the best trip you can do to get the completely Kyoto experience! Love it!!

Very special experience

My family and I were seated in an intimate setting and served tea and sweets while we witnessed a traditional tea ceremony as well as dancing and game playing with the Maiko. After the traditions were presented to us we were permitted to ask questions and take photos. It was a wonderful experience and definitely a highlight of our trip to Kyoto.

初めての鴨川踊り

舞踊劇は真夏の夜の夢を題材にしたものでユーモアもあり、衣装も踊りもきれいで、楽しいだしものでした。いい意味でこじんまりした会場で舞台と客席が近くて芸妓さん達も間近で見ることができて、大満足でした。

受付が最悪
投稿者: 先斗町, 2018/05/05受付でベルトラのバウチャーを提示し、支払済を申告したにもかかわらず、受付されず、たらいまわしされた。あげく、地下の事務室まで自身でおりて確認しろとの、最低な対応をうけた。
結局は無事入場できた（当然）が、きちんと予約支払いしているのに、大変不愉快だった。
をどり自体は十分価値のある内容でした。

花魁（おいらん）体験 絢爛豪華に変身！＜京都市＞by 舞妓体験STUDIO夢工房 祇園店
華やかになります
投稿者: きなこ, 2018/04/18派手なメイクですがさっと仕上げてもらって、着付けも早く、思った以上に短時間で華やかに仕上げてもらいました。
カップルプランだったので単体と2人とで写真を撮ってもらって、ポージングも指示してもらえたのでいい写真が撮れました。
カツラがすこし大きくてすぐズレそうになるのと、写真で見るとちょっとアンバランスかな？と思いました。
プランの中にキーホルダーとブックレットが付いてるのが嬉しいです。

My family of eight really enjoyed watching Tomichie-san performed the traditional tea ceremony, and we really appreciate our host explaining the different aspects of the ceremony to us. After the ceremony, Tomichie-san performed a dance, then Q&A, and we had some time to play a little game with her. Tomichie-san graciously showed us her beautiful kimono and hairstyle, and was so patience with all of the photos that we were taking. If/when we come back to Kyoto again, we will definitely do this again.

Kyoto Maiko or Geisha Makeover Experience with Optional Gion Stroll
Great Maico makeover experience
投稿者: Catherine, 2018/04/12I actually haven’t even expected to get such seamless experience. All steps of maica makeover were very well thought through, well planned and organized. I was very happy with makeup since I was also offered to choose between several makeup options. And both makeup, hairdo, dressing up was made fast and by highly skilled staff. There was a good selection of nice kimonos as well. I also liked flexible option of taking customized studio pictures.
Would definitely recommend this place!

いるとのことで、少し（１０分位）入店を
待たされた。
それなのに自分たちの時は、終わりの約束時間
になると、時間ですと告げられて納得できなかった。
忙し過ぎるのか、とにかく女将さんという人が
いつも落ち着かない様子で、いつもバタバタして
いる感じでこちらも落ち着かなかった。
因みに、我々は１０人のグループでした。

Make sure you leave yourself extra time to find it or use an image from google maps to ask a taxi driver to take you there.

A wonderful moment!

First "our" Meiko, a Geiko apprentice (sorry I forgot her beautiful name), make us a dance performance. It was really hypnotizing. Then she make the tea ceremony and it was also great.
We could take pictures and ask her questions. We had the chance to have someone who speaks english, so it was nice. We had plenty of explanations too.
We strongly recommend this experience. Surly our best time in Kyoto!

Kyoto Hospitality not to be missed.
投稿者: Nicole, 2017/12/31This experience was Kyoto culture and hospitality at its finest. Everyone we met went above and beyond from the moment we arrived. As at all tea houses, guests are required to remove their shoes, but I had a broken foot and was not allowed to walk without my walking boot. The tea house mother kindly accommodated by finding a bag to tie over the boot. We enjoyed watching Maiko perform the traditional tea ceremony while an interpreter explained the process. We learned the proper way to enjoy the tea as well. After a wonderful dance we were given time for a question and answer session with Maiko followed by a photo opp. Maiko even came outside for photos need the tea house door. She was absolutely a pleasure to spend the afternoon with as was the interpreter. Highly recommended. Tip: the directions given on Veltra are quite accurate, but the door is unmarked (or at least unmarked by English). Just find the door by location and go through the curtain.

Outstanding experience!
投稿者: Rachel Tuhro, 2017/12/19Meeting the Maiko and speaking with the house mother was by far the most memorable part of our trip!
We enjoyed a Japanese Tea Ceremony had some small snacks and were entertained by a traditional recorded dance. Our Maiko was so lovely, she talked with us and spoke English very well. We were able to ask her a ton of personal questions and she was more than willing to answer all of them. The house mother was so friendly and accommodating and even gave us small gifts as souvenirs after our visit.
This is a MUST!!!

東京で唯一の花魁ショー！お江戸花魁道中＜六本木＞
一見の価値あるショーです

ショーそのものはたった30分でしたがとても素敵であっという間に過ぎてしまいました。ショーが始まる前に着席後、一人で時間つぶしをしなければなりませんでしたが、出演者の方々がお名刺を持ってご挨拶にいらしてくださり、気持ちを和らげてくださいました。
週末の昼間におつまみ付き飲み放題コースを選びましたが、おつまみはとても美味しく、飲み物は手酌できるように目の前に置いてありましたので、またチャンスがあれば、今度は夜のショーを見に行きたいと思います。禁煙だったことや舞台が近かったことも再度足を運ぶ気にさせられます。
ショーのあと、出演者の方々は気さくに一緒に写真撮影に応じてくださいました。ありがとうございました。
