Traditional Tea Ceremony Experience near Kinkakuji Temple in Kyoto
Definitely worth it
投稿者: Svea, 2018/04/08Since I was travelling on a budget I wasn't sure if it was worth paying the money for this tea ceremony. But it was! I was curious about the tea ceremony as a whole, like the history and the meaning, and I got to learn about that and ask questions. Getting to whisk the tea myself was great. It was everything I wanted. There were 10 people in attendance.
The location is easy to find and easy to get to. I walked there from Ryoanji in a little over 20 minutes.
Thank you very much for your message! Since It was the highest season, we had 10 people in a tea room. Usually much less people.
I hope you enjoyed the tea ceremony:)

Ryukyu Dance and Okinawan Dinner Show at Urashima in Naha
Had a wonderful time!
投稿者: Lee San, 2018/04/08The show was beautiful and entertaining. Food was excellent. My 13 year old grandson wasn't a fan of the true Japanese cuisine, but the food was delicious for me. I would do this again. So, I recommend this to anyone wanting "real" Okinawan cuisine and a memorable evening.

良い思い出
投稿者: Nekomaru, 2018/04/08アメリカ在住なので、良い体験になると思い娘二人を変身させてみました。期待以上の出来で、半かつらは本当に自然でとてもよく似合ってました。45分の散策は外国人ギャラリーに囲まれて、あっという間でした。普通の着物レンタルよりはかなり高いですが、価値はあると思います。

半カツラは当店一押しで地毛結いと変わらない見栄えになります。

投稿者: momonggga, 2018/04/04父と母、兄家族と３世代の旅行の記念に立ち寄らせて頂きました。短時間で手際よく、手の込んだ大島紬の着物を綺麗に着せて頂き、最初は恥ずかしがっていた父と母もお互いの姿に思わず笑みがこぼれる楽しいひとときを過ごすことが出来ました。子供たちも、一緒に写真を撮ったり、キャンドルやフォトフレームを作ったり思う存分楽しんでいました。今回は泥染めが出来ず残念でしたが、また機会があれば挑戦してみたいと思います。素敵な旅の思い出をありがとうございました。

アットホームな着物体験

ワクワク入室すると、ハローっと迎えられました。外国人の参加が大半とのことで癖で出てしまったとのこと（笑）
明るい女性2人が暖かく迎えてくれました。
私たちは夫婦と2人の子供、4人での撮影でしたが、子供への対応が素晴らしく、すぐに子供がなつき、終始楽しく撮影ができました！
子供はここに泊まるとか、最後はエレベーターで帰りたくないと泣くほど（笑）
よっぽど楽しかったようです。
着させていただいた着物も素晴らしく、外国人向けのため、普段きれないような、少し派手なものを着ることができました。
外国人はもちろんのこと、日本人の方も楽しく記念に残る撮影ができる素晴らしいスタジオだと思います！おすすめです！

Kyoto Maiko Makeover and Samurai Dress-up Experience with Optional Stroll Plan
Unforgettable Experience!
投稿者: Post-Uni Tourist, 2018/03/28My sister and I completed this activity together. We loved the location of the facility. It was located in Gion along some streets with beautifully built buildings. It is very much a tourist area with many shops catering different souvenirs and foods (which we happily explored after our time in Geisha attire.
The women were very efficient with the makeup and putting on the kimonos. The whole dress-up took about an hour and since we went early, we didn't really have to wait for others. We opted for the half-wig option (which you pay for in addition in studio) and it was cool, although I think it should be called more as "wig with your fringe." Most of your hair is kept underneath the main wig piece but then they take the first inch from around your forehead area to help cover up the would-be seems. Definitely cool, but I don't know if it was worth the extra amount.
We absolutely loved the walking aspect of our plan. The studio shots were really nice (we paid extra for a group shot), but being able to walk a ways away to take shots outside made it so much more worth it. Plus, with the other people on the street, we took photos with some other people in kimonos (and were also asked for pictures ourselves).
We would do this again in a heartbeat.

A wonderful moment!

First "our" Meiko, a Geiko apprentice (sorry I forgot her beautiful name), make us a dance performance. It was really hypnotizing. Then she make the tea ceremony and it was also great.
We could take pictures and ask her questions. We had the chance to have someone who speaks english, so it was nice. We had plenty of explanations too.
We strongly recommend this experience. Surly our best time in Kyoto!

Geisha Experience in Kyoto
投稿者: Ana Cabral, 2018/02/18The experience itself was well worth the money. The staff is very professional, the studio is beautiful and centrally located in old Kyoto and they have a nice selection of beautiful kimonos.
Expect to be asked if you’d like to add any “extras” at an extra cost: a better wig, fake eyelashes, change of kimono, pictures in the garden, extra pictures, etc.
The only constructive critic i’d like to add is that the staff could explain while doing the make up, hair and dressing the kimono, the meaning of each step and each piece of clothing.

初めての座禅体験
投稿者: ぴぴぴ, 2018/02/18人生で初めて座禅を体験しました。最初に和尚さんから勝林寺についての説明があり、その後座禅の説明をしていただき、15分の座禅を2回行った後、最後に温かいお茶をいただきました。冬場の厳寒の時期(2月中旬)に寒い中凍えながらひたすら耐える、というのを想像していたのですが、室内は暖房が効いており暖かく、快適に日々の雑念から逃れて座禅に集中することができました。また平日の疲れを癒す為に是非リピートしたいと思いました。

投稿者: はるじゅん, 2018/02/10当日急遽時間変更をお願いしましたが、快く受け入れて頂きました。着物を選ぶアドバイスも的確で手際よく着付け。スマホでのショットも色々な背景で沢山写して貰えます。着付け撮影のほかには大島紬の製作工程を製図を作る段階から見る事ができます。最終工程の機織りは実際使っている機織り機に座らせて貰い、写真撮影。手の掛かる大島紬が高価な理由を改めて認識しました！スタッフの方は島のオススメ店を丁寧に電話連絡してくれました。とても素敵なお店を教えて貰い感激しました。

Authentic Ninja Training Experience at Ninja Dojo in Kyoto
Wonderful Experience!
投稿者: Ash.Y, 2018/01/06The lesson was both informative and entertaining.You'd think Ninjas are always so serious and put up a poker face,but the instructor was very nice and friendly,great at engaging students.I was fascinated by the way Ninjas use weapons,very clever and creative.
And there is a photographer at the Dojo,she took great photos and even videos of me during the whole lesson.So you can just immerse yourself in the world of Ninja,and get photos after the class!

和装レンタル＆着付け 着物で大阪観光！アクセス便利な心斎橋OPA店＜心斎橋駅すぐ＞
大満足です(*^^*)

スタンダードプランというものでの予約となっていましたが、ランクが異なるプランのお着物も全て見てチョイスできるので、来店してからのプランアップも可能です。
足袋やかばん、帯などもすべてセットなので手ぶらでOKです☆また、帯をどう合わせればいいか迷った時等もお店の方が親切で気さくな方ばっかりなので親身になってアドバイスして下さいます。
帯の結び方も一律ではなく、個々に考えて結んでくださったようで、私はリバーシブルの柄と色を活かした3段リボンのような可愛い帯にして下さいました。1日人混みを歩いても着崩れ知らずでした！
最後に写真撮影をお願いしましたが
ポージングなども和気あいあいとしながら教えて下さり、何パターンも嫌な顔一つせず撮影して頂き感謝でした…！
立地もいいので大変便利なことと、働いているスタッフの方たちの対応がとても素晴らしかったです。また機会がありましたらぜひお願いしたいです(*^^*)

投稿者: Japanese girl, 2018/01/04年末に利用しました。残念ながら名古屋城は休館でしたが、熱田神宮と大須に行きました。大須までは地下鉄乗り換え無しですぐです。名古屋城は目の前です。彼は外国人でしたが着物はありました。彼も喜んでました。店員さんはいつも笑顔でフレンドリーです。
We are a couple. This shop is in a hotel. It places in front of Nagoya castle. We visited to Osu and Atsuta shrine. It’s not far from this shop by metro. I’m Japanese and my boyfriend is from Europe. I was worried if they don’t have a big size Kimono for him. But it was no problem. All clerks are so nice and friendly.

Kyoto Hospitality not to be missed.
投稿者: Nicole, 2017/12/31This experience was Kyoto culture and hospitality at its finest. Everyone we met went above and beyond from the moment we arrived. As at all tea houses, guests are required to remove their shoes, but I had a broken foot and was not allowed to walk without my walking boot. The tea house mother kindly accommodated by finding a bag to tie over the boot. We enjoyed watching Maiko perform the traditional tea ceremony while an interpreter explained the process. We learned the proper way to enjoy the tea as well. After a wonderful dance we were given time for a question and answer session with Maiko followed by a photo opp. Maiko even came outside for photos need the tea house door. She was absolutely a pleasure to spend the afternoon with as was the interpreter. Highly recommended. Tip: the directions given on Veltra are quite accurate, but the door is unmarked (or at least unmarked by English). Just find the door by location and go through the curtain.

坐禅で未知の体験を

最初、坐禅は厳しいものという先入観がありましたが、
年齢層が広く気軽に体験できました。
坐禅中、呼吸の数を数えることを教わったのですが、
これが難しく中々できませんでした。
ただ、同時に普段見えないものが見えるような感じがしました。
忙しない日常では決して意識することがないものです。
自分を見つめ直すのに、坐禅はいいかもしれませんね。
これを機にもう一度参加してみようと思います。

奄美でしかできない体験に満足！
投稿者: ゆずぴょん, 2017/12/19今年で4回も訪れるほど私の大好きな奄美大島。いつもひとり旅なのですが、今回は主人と夫婦旅行。初めて奄美に訪れる主人が何をすれば？どこに行けば？何を食べれば？喜んでくれるか考えました。
そして、普段着る機会の全くない大島紬着付け体験。泥染め体験を選びました。
とても素早く綺麗に着付けしていただき、大島紬を着終わった後はなんだか背筋がシャキッとして日本人に生まれてきてよかったなぁ、と思うほどでした。
泥染め体験主人も大変満足していました。旅行中はその日染めたショールをずっと身につけて過ごしました。

楽しみました( ˙ᵕ˙ )ものすごく楽しかったです！
他のところでも琉装できるところは
ありますが、ヘアセットでかなり雰囲気が
出るのでここオススメです。
