Fun on the water

My grandchildren, from 17 to 26, loved the experience and their patience with my inability to get my ears cleared, yet able to get my picture underwater, was awesome! Thanks to a really wonderful crew! Had a great time! Oh, yeah, I can't swim not one stroke and I wasn't afraid, just wish my ears had cooperated!

It was OK

濡れることなく海中が楽しめる。
投稿者: タロウ, 2014/07/31老人とコドモが同行していたので、水に濡れることなく海中景色が楽しめる、潜水艦ツアーを申し込みました。
浜辺からボートで沖に出て、沖にいる潜水艦に近づいて乗り込みます。
嵐の後だったので、多少、海が濁っていたようですが、それでも充分に海中の景色を堪能できました。
潜水艦では、右側よりも左側のほうが、景色は良かったようです。
なお、潜水艦内ではヘッドフォンで日本語の説明を聞くことができますが、多少でも英語が分かったほうが、リアルタイムの説明を聞けるので、より楽しめます。

残念！！期待外れでした
投稿者: cocom, 2014/06/28初めての潜水艦乗船に、わくわく気分で迎えの車に乗車。
アラモアナハーバーから沖合いまでの船の中でもわくわく。
ポイントに着くと船内放送にて前の潜水艦が浮上して来るとのこと。泡が立ちアッという間に潜水艦が目の前に浮上。
やっと順番が来て乗船開始。急な階段の為、後ろ向きにてゆっくり、ゆっくり下り船内に。
第一印象は、プレミアムの割には、船内の窓が狭い。船員さんの案内に従い着席。
潜水が開始され海底へ。
日本語ツアー参加なので言葉には困らず、案内も分かりやすかったが、座る方向、季節、海流にもよるのだろうか？あまり鮮明に見えず残念。
期待が大きかった分、がっかりしてしまった。

Disappointed
投稿者: May, 2014/05/27You get a quick instruction on how to get in and get out of the scooter, and they teach you important hand signals. I don't know how to swim and never been underwater so I was extremely nervous. But everyone gets their own instructor so if you're freaking out, they're right there to help you. These guys were nice and never push you past your own comfort zone. I actually freaked out going underwater so my instructor brought me back up for a minute, let me calm down and tried it again. I got to see fish and even a few sea turtles swim by it was awesome!
My main complaint is that the guy taking pictures didn't catch any of this. He didn't take pictures until AFTER the fish swam by. So majority of my pictures that I paid $45 for are just of me in the water with no fish in it. What a waste!!
Now this is a warning for those of you who get motion sickness: I took Dramamine an hour before going out to sea and let me tell you that didn't work. While waiting for other people to have their turn, the boat was moving like crazy and I got seasick. Two other people actually got sick as well.
Overall this was a fun activity and I like that they let you snorkel while waiting for others to have their turn. However, I don't recommend this activity if you are prone to motion sickness.
Tip: Bring your own underwater camera!

My First Hawaiian Adventure Underwater
投稿者: Will, 2014/05/11 I usually don't do reviews because there wasn't enough "wow" or it's special, but not worth my time to "write" about it: This activity is exceptionally the case for shouting about. Think about how in the world could you go underwater, be AMONG fish, not learn the intricacies of diving, not wear heavy equipment on your back (even if weight is not an issue underwater), or hold your breath for an extended period of time, and still be able to wear your personal prescription glasses. This is a great activity to partake in especially for those curious about underwater activities.
When you get underwater on these vehicles, a personal diver will be assigned to you to make certain that you're doing OK and to mitigate any problems that may arise---even if you decide to cancel the activity. The hosts were all professional and serious about instructing the group on what to expect while in the water, and I felt comfortable and appreciatead their attention to safety. We rode out to the edge of this bay in the south eastern part of Oahu and proceeded with the adventure in the BOBs plus snorkeling around the boat that brought us out there. One of the divers had a camera to take pictures while we were underwater so there will be pictorial memories to look back at and thoughts about what to do in the future to optimize my excursions beneath the ocean. This activity is great!I was underwater for the very first time in my life, and I'm back to write about how great a time I had! If diving is not for you, try this for your shorter "bucket" list!

案内役の方も日本語が上手で、ジョークを交えた説明で楽しく見学出来ました。
ファミリーで参加したのですが、孫も「ニモがいる。あ・亀だ」などと興奮していました。

I've done other excursions and saw more fish and turtles on this trip. The pictures turned out very professional. I have told my daughter and her fiancé to definitely do this next month on their visit.

期待はずれ

潜水艦の中は非常に寒いです。
クーラーが効きすぎて、最後の方は伯母は体調が悪くなってしまったほどです。
先日までの悪天候で海の中の透明度が非常に悪かったです。
亀（ホヌ）を2匹見る事ができました。
それはよかったと思います。

投稿者: momonga, 2014/02/24初めてのハワイでしたがこの時期のこのツアーははずせないと思って参加しましたが結果はまさにはるかに期待を上回るのものでした。なんとイルカが列をなしてボートの横を泳ぎ、海中ではウミガメもしっかり見れて、最後にはなんとクジラさんが遠くに顔を出して潮をふいてくれました。超ラッキー！日本語のできるガイドさんは本当に楽しく海からみるワイキキも潮風も最高でした。

潜水艦体験
投稿者: アリサン, 2014/02/23潜水艦自体はバッテリー駆動で殆ど音が気にならなっかたが、かなりの波浪で参加者の半数近くが船酔いになり、その影響で自分も少し気分が悪くなり、じっくり海中を楽しめなかった。案内には船酔いのことが余り触れて無かったのが少し不親切かな？もう一度波の穏やかな時再度チャレンジしたい。送迎，搭乗とうに関しては、とてもわかりやすかった。

家族みんなで楽しめる！

たくさんのお魚やサメ、ウミガメも見られました。
天気がよいときっともっと水の透明度もいいのかな と思います。
ラッキーだったのは、潜水艦に行くまでのボートからイルカの群れが見えた事。
あとはガイドの方の日本語もとても上手で素晴らしかったです。
なにより潜水艦に乗るなんてなかなか無い体験ですし、
せっかくのハワイで年齢に関わらずウォーターレジャーを楽しめるとても良いツアーだと思います。
特にダイビングやシュノーケルをしない 小さなお子さんやご年配の方に是非オススメです。

Not as advertised
投稿者: allenk, 2013/10/29I had to give this a 3 star rating to get it to post. My earlier one star rating wouldn't post and my comments were sent to the tour operator for comment. Each issue that I raised the company flat out lied about. As indicated in a prior review, it was disappointing that the scooters had to be moved around by the divers, they are not in working order to be moved under their own power. It looked like they were broken or missing engine parts. I loved the concept, the crew was fantastic and I would have said it was OK, but given that the event is not as advertised and that Bob's Underwater Scooter Adventure management flat out lied I would then question the safety of the event. False advertising. One star.
