Our guide was Juan Carlos and he did a great job. Took time with us (maybe because we were the only family since someone else canceled). Nice Bay, I think it was just right for us beginners.

Awesome!!! First time snorkeling for our family (3-kids ages 21, 19, 13). Alan was a very good tour guide - patient and knowledgeable & made it easy for us. Our daughter was a bit nervous going over the coral reef so he held her hand until she made it over. Then we saw sea turtles which was the highlight. Fish were incredible throughout. Being from Wisconsin, we had an incredible trip to Hawaii and we would sign up to do this again if we get the chance to return. We brought underwater cameras which made it fun for the kids. 5-stars. : )

We had so much fun on this excursion. Our guide, Alan, helped us with his clear instruction. We feel that he went above and beyond our expectations. He showed us where many fish were and we had a wonderful first time snorkeling experience.

Don't let the less then perfect weather deter you from going. We went on a cloudy overcast day and were still able to enjoy the fishes and sea turtles. Bring a water camera, get picture opportunity.

Beautiful experience!!!

This was the most fun my girlfriend and I had. The water was a little murky the day we went out there, but you could definitly see all sorts of fish out there. It was our first time snorkling and our guide was excellent and stayed with us and continuously made sure we were all ok! He even showed us out where there were 2 huge sea turtles. We can't wait to go back!

Tranquility in the Bay

This wa our first trip to Hawaii and first time snorkeling. We loved it! The guide knew all the spots and lead us was patient to the beautiful fish and sea turtles. We couldn't have asked for a better time. A definite must do. I would have loved to have spent more time snorkeling, but our tour was up. 5 Stars!

The bay is so beautiful! We saw fish of every size, shape, and color. We even saw a sea turtle, which was what I really wanted to see. This is a MUST for any animal lover.

First time snorkeling!!

Excellent adventure, was disappointed one of the family members had a fear of water that could not be overcome. The snorkeling was fantastic and the owner knew all the great places to go and see aquatic life. WIsh there would have been some sort of refund for the one member who could not get out in the water.

Best of the Best!

This was by far the best part of our vacation! We chose to do the small group tour because my husband can't swim and has never been in the ocean. Not to worry, our guide, Alan, was fabulous!!! He was very patient and helpful. Not only did he help us with the technical part of snorkeling, but he brought us to some areas of Hanauma Bay that most don't see. We were lucky enough to swim with four sea turtles! We would certainly go back!

This was the first time I have ever been snorkeling and it was wonderful, the guide was very helpful and patient. If the current every got tough he would grab our hands and pull us through. It was the high light of my trip to Hawaii and I would recommend it to anyone.

Snorkeling

This was my husband and I first time in Hawaii and our 1st activity was snorkeling in Hanauma Bay. Our guided snorkel tour, Allyn was very helpful and he brought snacks and drinks for us that was well needed for this activity. Equipments were provided. The snorkeling was awesome; we were taken to about 8 feet or more of water and had a chance to swim with the fishes. Hanauma Bay is beautiful but with this hands-on experience, we both learned to appreciate it. There were tons of fishes out there as we were snorkeling and we also had a chance to get very close to the corals. Overall, my husband and I enjoyed this very much. Thank you so much.

Not being an experienced snorkler, it was great having Alan as our guide. He took us the good locations and was very helpful the entire time. We saw hundreds of fish, a sea turtle and the scenery was just beautiful.

Oahu Hanauma Bay Snorkel Tour

Our guide, Alan, was wonderful. This was my first time snorkeling and I was a little (ok, a lot!) nervous. Alan literally guided me by the arm and made sure I was ok the whole time. The bay is spectacular, the water clear and the fish incredible! I would recommend this tour to anyone new to snokeling and to those with experience.

Good for first timers

My boyfriend and I went on the Hanauma Bay snorkling adventure. It was great to see the area and we did see a lot of fish but the activity was a little slow and boring for us (we had both snorkled before) I recommend this activity for first timers or those with children. We did enjoy it but not as much as we would have if it was a little more exciting or faster paced. The guide was nice and very friendly but not very informative about what we saw.

This is a very beautiful spot, lovely beach. I have been snorkling many times before including the Great Barrier Reef but have never done a guided tour. It was great to have a guide because he took us to places we would never have gone without him and saw much more. He new where all the hiding spots were. We saw so much more than if we had been just on our own. and what a great swim we had. Then snacks were provided after the tour. Well done! Cindi Johnston Whitby, On Canada

Alan was prompt and greeted us with a friendly smile and manner. He was thorough in his explanations and made sure we understood his message. Kiko (sp) was great with her bubbly personality and her delivery of sea creatures to the girls. The sea life was incredible and the girls had a grat time. We all commented on the quality of equipment as well which was top notch. Go, try them out. I would recomment it.

Having a guide was really nice since this was my first time ever snorkeling. Alan taught us the basics and provided us with equipment needed. It was great seeing all the colorful fish. One downfall (which wasn't anyone's fault) was that the water was really rough the day we went, so the experience was cut short since we couldn't go out as far as planned.
Would recommend to first-time snorkelers!

This was a first for me, my friend had been before.It was very interesting and we enjoyed it very much.The only problem was the water was a little murky.We do understand that is out of your control.All in all it was alot of fun and we enjoyed it very much.

First time snorkeling

This was our first experience snorkeling and my wife cannot swim. Our instructor, Alan, helped my wife overcome her fears and we were both able to enjoy the bay. Alan took great care to guide us and make us feel comfortable. We immediately observed a multitude of fish and coral reef creatures in some of the clearest water we encountered on Oahu. We fell in love with snorkeling and will definitely do it again. We would definitely recommend this adventure to everyone.

カメに会えました

数あるシュノーケリングツアーの中で
こちらは達人ガイドさんが徹底案内してくれるということで
選びました。
その言葉通り、自分たちだけだったら行かないスポットに
連れていってもらえました。
ほかと比較できないのでわかりませんが
キレイなお魚がたくさん見れたし、大きなカメにも
会えてよかったです。
はじめてのシュノーケリングだったのですが
意外と体力を消耗することに驚きました。
今度はもっと体力をつけて、参加したいです。

シュノーケルを手軽に楽しみたくて申し込みました。
ハナウマ湾まで行くのもツアーにすれば連れて行ってもらえるし、よかったです。
シュノーケルのレクチャーもしてくれます。水中OKのカメラで自分でも魚や海亀の写真を撮りながら楽しみました。
先導してくれるので、あっという間の時間でしたが大満足です。

シュノーケル初心者さんも安心です

１０歳の息子を含む家族で参加しました。全員海外でのシュノーケルの経験があります。
ガイドの方は日本人ではありませんが日本語もお上手です。呼吸の仕方など丁寧に教えてくださいます。泳ぐ場所も沖には出ないので、シュノーケルが初めての方でも安心して参加できると思います。
ガイドの方が１時間ウミガメの見れるスポットを探し案内してくれました。ラッキーにもウミガメに遭遇して感激しました。効率よくシュノーケルしたい方にはガイド付きツアーがおすすめです。
ただ私達のように慣れている人には少し物足りないかもしれません。
１時間のガイド同行シュノーケルが終わるとすぐに帰ります。フリーで泳ぐことはできません。あと１時間でもフリーの時間があればもっと楽しめたと思います。
又１時間の間休むことなくひたすらウミガメを探して泳ぐので海中をじっくり楽しむ事ができません。
あくまで初心者向けのツアーだと思います。

十分楽しめました

初めてのハワイでした。
サイパン、グアムなどでシュノーケルの経験はありましたが、
久しぶりでしたので、初めに初心者向けのレッスンを受けて臨めて良かったです。
魚も多く、カメも間近で見ることができ、十分楽しむことができました。
シュノーケルそのものの時間は長くありませんので、慣れた方には物足りないかもしれませんが、家族、カップルなどにはお勧めです。

【ツアー再開時期未定】ハナウマ湾シュノーケリング 選べる往復送迎のみまたはシュノーケルセット付きプラン＜半日＞
海が大好き

以前ハナウマ湾に観光バスで訪れ、上から景色だけを眺めるだけだった為、機会があれば是非潜ってみたいと思っていました。今回、送迎のみのプランがあったので口コミを参考にこちらを選択した結果、良かったです。ピックアップはホテル前遅れることなく7時5分、他２ヶ所のホテルを回り、計6名の参加者でした。途中でフィンのサイズを確認しレンタル品一式を受け取り、ハナウマ湾では8時のビデオ上映を見ましたので、とてもスムーズだったと思います。車内にてドライバーの方が一生懸命ハナウマ湾について、このプランのスケジュール、注意事項等を説明して下さり十分に理解できました。シュノーケリング場所としては、魚も数多く見れましたし、トイレやシャワー等の設備も整っているので、安全に楽しめる場所だと思います。ただサンゴは殆ど死滅しているので、それだけはとても残念でした。ハワイとは言え午前中の海は風も冷たく、スコールもあり寒かったですが行って良かったです。ハナウマ湾は規制が厳しく個人で行くには不便ですし、道具一式＆ゴザ（この装備で十分です。風が強いのでパラソルは危険、泳ぎに自信がなく浅瀬にしかいないのならライフジャケットも不要かと）も込みなので満足のいくプランでした。

ハナウマ湾は、オアフ島の南東端にある、火山の火口が波に侵食され入江になったところで、シュノーケリングで一番人気の場所となっています。 ハナウマ湾は半円形をしていて遠浅で波も穏やかなため、子供連れでもシュノーケリングが楽しめます。 また、青い海や珊瑚礁、熱帯魚の群れが美しいことでも知られているところです。 ハワイ語で「ハナ」は「湾」、「ウマ」は「避難所」を意味します。 海洋自然保護区のため、週に一度閉鎖され一般客は入場できません。 ハナウマ湾に行くときには、閉鎖される曜日を調べておきましょう。
