Not as advertised.
投稿者: Kirk, 2021/12/29Kayaking was fun but it was a little disappointing to find that the sandbar and related islands are all under water. The pictures showed a sandbar above water where you could exit the kayak and walk or play. In reality, the sandbars are 3-4 ft. under water. You can stand on them but you are just standing in the shallow water. According to the employee, the sandbars are under water most of the time - rarely are they exposed, due to tidal conditions. Need an extreme negative tide and the right time of the year to actually see sand. Would have been nice to know before we showed up for our trip.

Parasailing Hawaii Ride by X-Treme Watersports [700ft, 850ft or 1000ft lines]
Flying High!
投稿者: Mary, 2021/12/28The was the BEST parasailing we’ve ever done - and we’ve done several on both coasts of the mainland and different islands. Although the seas were a bit rough, the parasailing was outstanding. The captain and crew of Freedom were gems. My son said he would give them a 6 out of 5 stars - lol.
Definitely go for the 1000 feet! The windy day really had us flying well above any of the competition.
Will do this one again on our next visit.

Half day paddle
投稿者: Lisen, 2021/12/27It was a very windy day unfortunately so we couldn’t paddle out to the proper sand bar ( they told us not to). We paddle to the smaller sand bars closer to the shore, but we should have needed a guide, it was hard to know if we were in the right place and we saw almost nothing such as fishes and stuff, we did see one turtle that raced past us so fast. We had booked for a half day but we where only away for 2,5 hours because also the water was cold…
Maybe this excursion should be during the summer months and not during winter time.
The crew where really nice and friendly and did there best to help us and guide us, although next time we would pay a little bit more and get a guide and maybe take a boat!

短パンの場合はケガに注意
投稿者: まいむ, 2021/12/26日本語の話せるインストラクターもいらっしゃり、日本人ひとりでしたが楽しく過ごすことができました。ただ浜辺近くは上からは見えにくいブロックが海中にあるため、足は着くものの戻る際に足をぶつけて両膝とも擦りむいて痛い思いをしました。お店が長袖のラッシュガードを貸してくれるので上半身は大丈夫ですが、短パンで参加される方は日焼け対策含めて注意が必要です。

Friendly Crew!

They are hilarious and really try to get to know you better. Do note that photos by the crew cost an additional 30 dollars.

Waikiki Swim with Turtles Tour - Moana Catamaran Best Honolulu Snorkeling Cruise
An Incredible Experience
投稿者: Jesse, 2021/12/17The crew from Moana Catamaran were awesome, laid back, and super helpful the entire experience! The classic island music, the weather, the catamaran.. all the vibes were perfect!
We saw a couple schools of Dolphins on the surface (which I believe is NOT common, so keep that in mind if you book!) and saw about 8-9 sea turtles during our time in the water. A few of them hung around the whole time and swam towards us so close we had to swim away to give them the distance they need.
The crew gave us everything we needed- snorkels, fins, and a floaty to make things super easy for our time in the water. I really enjoyed that it was a waist floaty and not a neck inflatable one like some of the other boats out there. Made it much more enjoyable.
Overall, we were mesmerized by the turtles and the fish / sea life that surrounded us, and had an amazing crew to take us to it. 10/10, 5/5, whatever you want to take from this. My wife said this was "the most amazing experience of her life", and I might even agree. :)

Amazing crew!
投稿者: William, 2021/12/05Everyone involved in the parasailing was super personable and engaging! Noemi and Rachel at the shack were super nice and relatable during check in and for the pictures! Diego and the captain made sure we were all good before and after the excursion! We were normally supposed to go up to 1000’ but because a few customers did not show up the captain let us go to the max height of 1200’!! Super cool! Would definitely go again!

Amazing snorkeling
投稿者: Lin C, 2021/12/04The sandbar wasn’t exposed that day so we opted to snorkel at the different reefs and I’m so glad we decided to do that. The reefs are beautiful and there are a lot of fish to see. We saw several turtles too. The staff are very friendly. You can still use your phone data out at the reefs which made it a lot easier to find them on Google maps. I highly recommend this excursion

Great Experience!
投稿者: Adam, 2021/12/04This was a great add on to the end of our trip on Oahu. The kayak rental crew provides you with all the gear and info you need and then sends you on your way. Great way to get out and away from shore and see some of the reefs and that giant sandbar! Definitely recommend!

Great kayaking experience at iconic spot
投稿者: JTA, 2021/12/01I had rented a tandem kayak rental at this place and they were really great in accommodating our schedule. Originally we were planning to go out on a Saturday, but the weather was not ideal, so we asked if we can reschedule and they did allow us to reschedule for later in the week as a one time exception.
It was a great idea to do that since the following Tuesday we went and the weather was fantastic (sunny and low winds).
The sandbar is about a 30-45 min kayak, and it wasn't rough at all. The scenery is beautiful and it was pretty cool to be standing out on a sandbar that far out from shore. Overall, I would definitely do it again as long as the weather cooperates.

Once in a Lifetime Experience
投稿者: Jesszel, 2021/12/01This is our first time parasailing and I admit, we were all nervous, but the captain and her crew made us feel safe by telling us all the pre-cautions we need to do. The ride to the take-off site was fun. The actual take off was smooth and the view from the top was awing. This is once in a lifetime experience and I am glad we did this. My 8 year-old son had a great time as well and want to do it again. Highly recommending this activity. Thank you for such a wonderful experience and not to forget the staffs who checked us in that were very accommodating and patient in answering all our questions.

今回、2週間ハワイ滞在の中では最高！の１つです。

きちんと感染症対策などもされていて
安心して参加できました。
また、エビ側も久々の餌だったのか、
ほぼ入れ食い状態でした。
全員初心者でしたが、釣りも非常に楽しめました。
道中、ガイドの方からも色々とハワイの歴史や情報を聞けて、

Super bumpy and scary experience
投稿者: YYC, 2021/11/23Do not book sunset tour if you are sensitive to the feeling of weightlessness and sea sick. The driver makes the ship super super bumpy, which is unnecessary and they only care about the profit. I was feeling extremely unwell and asked if they could send me back and then continue the tour, but the driver kept ask me “do you want to cancel everyone” and kept saying I will have to pay for everyone’s tour. I will not do the parallel sailing so it should save them time to send me back but they just kept making fun of me with no empathy. After the trip I asked if I could get partially refund as a observer since I didn’t do the parallel sailing and saved them time and strength , which is reasonable , but they just denied my request.
I took other ship tours and all of them are fine, but this one is a immediately NO. Especially the driver said he could not understand my English made me feel kinda under a racist circumstances.

Best Activity in Oahu!
投稿者: Kimberly, 2021/11/22This was my favorite activity I did in Hawaii on this trip! It’s my third time to visit Oahu and this is by far the best thing I’ve done on the island. The views are incredible, the reefs are beautiful, and you feel like you’re swimming with the fishes when snorkeling. The kayak out to the sandbar is a little bit of a challenge, but not too bad if you take your time and do a tandem kayak. The view from the sandbar is definitely worth the challenge. The guides for this activity were very knowledgeable and helpful, they go over everything with you before you go out into the bay. I will definitely be doing this again! Highly recommend!

Blue Ocean Hawaii Waikiki Bottom Fishing Tour from Waikiki - Keep What You Catch
Fun morning
投稿者: Jenica, 2021/11/05This is a nice quick activity for people interested in finishing whether your new or experienced. This can get real tippy on the waves so make sure you have anti-nausea just incase.
The small crew is great, fun and friendly, they're helpful and supportive.
We're used to some medium fish from rivers and lakes mainland, so these fish seemed small, but it was still fun fighting with some on the line, that's always the fun part.
However the water is so clear it's such a different experience.
They will teach you how not to get your weight stuck and how to get it out if you do, if not, they'll help you.
While moving from fishing spot to spot, we had dolphins swim along side our boat and saw a few turtles breach!!
Would love to see if there are bigger fish to catch depending on season but overall was fun, don't expect to be catching massive ocean fish though.
I do not recommend this for kids who either have not fished or are not interested in it before hand. It's fishing, there's a lot of waiting and patience involved, and most kids if they havnt fished before and know it's a waiting game, like on our tour will get bored within 10 minutes of holding a line and will either annoy the other guests or just simply won't enjoy it.

We snorkeled for the first time with turtles.

The three men who took out out to swim made us feel very comfortable and we saw several turtles while snorkeling. The catamaran ride was exciting and the views of the island were breathtaking. This is a must activity for anyone visiting this island.

Kids want to do it again!

They especially loved how they were dipped in the water multiple times :)). My oldest one (17) caught the experience on his GoPro and they continue to relive the experience by watching the videos. Highly recommended!
