Amazing tour despite weather conditions
投稿者: Rickard Dybeck , 2023/02/04My girlfriend and I got to enjoy a private tour by Yoshi up Haleakalā, and I’ve rarely encountered a tour guide with such love for his profession and adopted home. Unfortunately it was very cloudy so we couldn’t see the stars, but Yoshi took us to a great pizza place and we chatted for several hours and learned so much about Japan and Maui. We will be back next time we’re in Maui and we will make sure it’s during the summer months for better weather conditions. I would strongly recommend taking a tour with him (and when given the option go for ice cream), as he will work so hard to ensure you have the greatest time.
Also don’t be too worried about it being cold, it was around 45F when we were there, and at least for me I was fine in a t-shirt.

The most magical experience!

Yoshi is the kindest and most knowledgeable person, the ride up the mountain was so smooth, the sunset was absolutely breathtaking, and seeing and learning about stars and planets really felt like dreaming. I truly believe it was the best day of my life.

最高の星空でした
投稿者: Hiro, 2023/01/14家族３人で参加しました。クリスマスイブでの参加になり山頂はとても混雑してサンセットは頂上で見れなかったのですが、それでも慌てずにベストポジションに連れて行ってくれました。星空観測は混雑していない場所で行ってくれて、人生最高の星空を見せてもらいました。言葉では言い表せないくらい感動しました。ツアーの山ちゃんに大感謝です。ありがとうございました！
因みに、はじめはレンタカーで自分たちで行こうと思っていたのですが、ツアーに参加して大正解でした。暗い中慣れない山道は危なかったですし、ゆっくり山頂まで行ってくれたお陰で高山病等の心配もありませんでした。防寒も配慮してくれて、星空を観られるようでしたら、このツアーはめちゃくちゃお勧めです。

お天気にも恵まれて心に残る最高の時間を過ごすことができました
投稿者: ももかの, 2023/01/06検温やマスク着用は無かったです。私達のコンドミニアムピックアップの場所の都合だとは思いますが、クリスピークリームドーナツには私達は立ち寄らなかったです。満席状態で、日本人だけではなく、他国の人のグループと一緒でした。日本語と英語のガイドでした。やまぴーさんは細かいところまでよく気を配って下さります。
スーパーに立ち寄り、夕食を買う時も細かくアドバイス、アテンドしてくださいました。
週5でハレアカラに来られているそうで、この地を知り尽くしているベテランのガイドさんだと感じました。写真の撮り方もプロ並みです。

悪天候の合間を縫って星空見えた！
投稿者: AXS, 2023/01/04当日は数少ない雨で、登頂中は雲の中を走っているような状態。しかしリアルタイムの気象情報と山さんの経験で少し待てば晴れ間が出ると判断して一時待機。本当に晴れ間が出てきて、見事星空を満喫できました！条件が悪くても最大限機転を利かせて対応して下さる経験と対応はさすがです。

Wonderful time on the boat and island and in the water!
投稿者: Kurt, 2023/01/02It was a great full day with my family. Captain Raquel and her team were amazing! Saw lots of whales in the morning with Haleakala in the background. Dolphins joined us on the ride back too! The entire team was fun and interacted w/ all of us. We can't recommend it enough!

最高の夕日と満天の星空！
投稿者: TAROM, 2022/12/20初めていったマウイで何か貴重な体験を、と思い申し込みました。
ホテル送迎で、片道2時間のドライブも山ピーさんの楽しいトークで楽しく過ごせました。途中おいしいローカルフードも買えて、山頂での夕食を堪能しました。
山頂では壮大なクレーター、360度の眺望、雲海に沈む夕日が幻想的で、日頃の些細な悩みなど吹っ飛ぶ経験が出来ました。落日後の星空がまた最高で、天の川その他もろもろの星たちを静かに眺めることができ、遠い子供のころ観た記憶も蘇る貴重な体験でした。山ピーさんが、GPS天体望遠鏡で次々と有名な恒星群や惑星を見せてくれたことにも感謝です。
とにかく必見のツアーであることは間違いないです。

ハレアカラの星空を観たい。コロナ禍で3年振りのハワイ。そして初めてのマウイ島。真っ先に星空ツアーを申し込んだ。当日ホテル3:30にピックアップ。2名の若い日本人カップルと私たちシニア女性2人組。ガイドの山Pさんが喋る喋る！私もつられて喋る（笑笑）クリスピークリームでドーナツを買い。フードランドでポケを買い。いざハレアカラへ！ビジターセンターでトイレ休憩。高地に身体を慣らしながら頂上へ。頂上に着いた途端猛吹雪。
『大丈夫ですよ！第五ポイントまで確保してありますから必ずお見せします』自信満々の山Pさん。
1m先も見えない吹雪の中下山開始。3055mから真っ暗（真っ白？）な山道を我が庭のように走り出す。なんと‼︎!第二ポイントで雲と同じ高さからのサンセットが見える‼︎感動。そしてまた雨が降り出し、移動開始。もしかしたら山Pさんは雲を見ながら移動してたのかな？第三ポイントで素早くイスや望遠鏡やもろもろ用意して、、、、、
『いいって言うまで絶対空見ないでくださいよ』
なんて言われて、ドキドキ期待が高まる！防寒着を貸してもらい万全の体制でいざ‼︎
うわー！泣ける！吹雪だったのに！豪雨だったのに！今も強風で飛ばされそうだけど！
ぐるり360度満点の星空です。ベテランガイドの成せる技ですね！本当に参加して良かったです。何度行ってもきっと感動するでしょう。必ずまたあの星空を観に戻ると思います！山Pさんに漬け物のお土産を届けにもう一度ハレアカラへ！

A great way to end the day
投稿者: Bob from Colorado, 2022/11/19The cruise leaves from the Kaanapali Beach Hotel. Not from a dock but from the actual shore. They beach the boat and drop the gangplank and the guests clamber up (helped by the crew who have collected everybody’s shoes in advance because your feet will get wet)
It’s a cool way to start. The captain and crew are fun and professional. Once off the beach they cut the engine and raise the sails. Best way to cruise ever! Drinks and food are served while to take in thee sea breeze and relax as the sun goes down. I met a lovely couple from Los Angeles and had a great time. I highly recommend this little trip!

投稿者: Sammy, 2022/11/14いったん予約してキャンセルしたので、取り直しだのに、勘違いされて、だいぶ待たされました。カフルイ空港を駆けずり回り大変な思いをしました。違うお客様を迎えのバスを捕まえて連絡がつき、しばらく待たせれて、3人なのに大型バスがきつ、、ドライバーは、親切にガイドしながら送ってくれました。

Great Experience
投稿者: Mrs. Mertens , 2022/11/03I chose this excursion to surprise my Husband on out Honeymoon and we had the best time. Yoshi was kind, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. I was even able to tell him that this was a surprise for my husband and he had no idea what we were doing and Yoshi helped me keep that secret till we were at the top of the summit. Yoshi picked us up at the Lahaina Mall and made many fun stops on our way to the top of Haleakala. First was Krispy Creme where he picked us up donuts, next we stopped at Foodland so we could all get some food for sunset and the final stop was Kula Lodge located on the volcano. We then reached the summit to watch the sunset. Yoshi was so kind and took many pictures of my Husband and I. He had blankets, coats, and gloves for us as it is quite chilly at the top. We were then able to sit in his warm van and enjoy the food we had bought at Foodland and Yoshi offered us coffee that he brought. Then the fun part started, Yoshi has very high quality telescopes. We went when there was a full moon and we were able to see the moon in very high detail as well as Saturn and Jupiter and few constellations. We will definitely be coming back when we visit Maui again and we cant wait!!

Maui Luxury Sunset Dinner Sail with Open Bar - Alii Nui Royal Feast Cruise
The best sunset dinner cruise we could have asked for!!
投稿者: Emma D, 2022/10/10Let me start by saying I was a little nervous about booking this dinner cruise because I didn't know if the price would be worth it. I also saw in the fine print when booking that you were only allowed 3 alcoholic beverages the entire trip, which confused me since it says open bar.
I have never been on a dinner cruise and this was my boyfriends' first trip to Hawaii so I wanted everything to be perfect! We were picked up from the hotel and I immediately asked about the drink limit. He said there wasn't one so that was a relief! It was even nicer knowing that we were getting dropped back off at the hotel so we could drink as much as we wanted. We shared the bus with another couple and had some nice conversations.
We got to the boat and it was raining a little bit but it stopped almost as soon as we left the harbor. We did some sailing since the weather was nice and we watched a beautiful sunset. The food was served buffet style so you could go back as many times as you wanted and it was all delicious. The crab cakes and ahi sashimi were my absolute favorites and my boyfriend really enjoyed the tri tip and ahi as well. The dessert was excellent and even accompanied by Bailey's and an amazing raspberry dessert wine that I wish I knew the name of so I could buy some back home.
There was a photographer on board and she really tried to get pictures of everyone that wanted pictures. She posed us and we were able to get some beautiful pictures in front of the sunset. She was very nice and so was the entire crew. They were attentive, fun, joking, and all around seemed like wonderful people. The bathrooms were clean which is always nice, especially when you're on a boat.
We had an amazing night and really loved the fact that it was a small intimate setting. We've already discussed it and will be booking this sail again on our next trip to Maui.

He is very kind and thoughtful and definitely knows all about the national park and the island itself along with all the stars and planets he shows you through his telescope. The views of the sky through the telescope were awesome. Definitely an experience we will never forget! A must do when visiting Maui.
