Best Day in Maui
投稿者: Laura Connell, 2021/10/05The crew of Alii Nui was incredible! They treated us like royalty while aboard their vessel. From the delicious breakfast and lunch with open bar, to the sunscreen and fresh towels, to the cooling eucalyptus towel and sunglass cleaner upon arrival back to port, they thought of every detail. I’ve never seen a crew work so hard as a team and make it look effortless, all with a smile and servant attitude and total engagement. Truly a pleasure meeting each of you. And the snorkeling was absolutely beautiful! We saw turtles and beautiful fish of all kinds. Captain Trent was so knowledgeable and knew the best places to go to see the beauty but avoid the crowds. And Savannah, thank you for capturing the underwater photos of us that we wouldn’t have been able to get. Thank you so much for the amazing day! I highly recommend this excursion!!

Great day on the water!
投稿者: Angela , 2021/08/22Saw lots of turtles and fish! Boat was clean, safe and well staffed. Bring a hat and lots of sunscreen. Crew of 5 and it was easy to get equipment on and ready. Our group had about 33 which was a lot - made for close quarters at times and a line at the stairs. Crew was quiet and all business … they were likely sick of tourists at this point. Beautiful pictures and scenery. Really nice catamaran.

Tour time was cancelled but they found us an even better alternative.
投稿者: Glenda , 2021/08/06I booked this snorkeling tour for our group of 21 months in advance. A couple days before our trip a representative of Hawaii Activities contacted me to let me know the time we booked was no longer an option offered by the company. They rebooked us with a different company for the same day, at an earlier time, without drinks :(, for the same price even though the Moana company charged more than the one we originally booked. I appreciate this so much because as we were boarding, we saw a disappointed family at another dock who had their trip canceled with not even a notification. The boat just never showed up and when they called the company they were told they had to cancel due to COVID. Things happen but a notice would have been nice. Luckily for us Hawaiian Activities/Veltra not only notified us, but made alternative arrangements for us. I would definitely use this company for bookings in the future.

Not Much To See
投稿者: BeeKae, 2021/07/11The worst snorkel tour I’ve ever been on as far as what a person was able to see under the water. My husband didn’t see a single fish. The kids and I saw two species. A black fish and a striped fish..literally two fish of each kind. Water is too cloudy to see much. I don’t believe there is really much to see even if the water were clear. No reef in sight. Way too many tourists from about 5 different boats all dropped off to snorkel at the same spot so people are constantly getting in each other’s way. I never saw a turtle except the one from the boat when we first pulled up. BEST part was the crew and the sail after the snorkel. The crew was wonderful. Brandon was super funny. Ryan and Mike both nice guys. They all work hard. Maybe it was just a poor day at sea for seeing much in the water, but I wouldn’t do it again. A sunset sail with them would be great since the sailing was the best part and the crew is awesome. But if you’re hoping to see a lot of fish and turtles while snorkeling, don’t expect it here. Wish I could get a refund.

My youngest had so much fun she didn’t even realize it was time to go back to the ship! Would do this again in a heartbeat! ♥️

Barely saw 1 turtle
投稿者: Alex , 2021/05/12Boat was very nice, friendly staff, but we stopped at 1 site for a while and didn’t see any turtles, then when we got to the more popular spot there were already 4 more boats and we only got to see 1 turtle. The staff didn’t come in the water with us either to help spotting turtles. Other boats had at least 1 crew in the water to guide their group towards the right spot.

It was okay, the crew was great.
投稿者: Baker, 2021/04/10The only reason I gave an okay was because we ordered breakfast to have on the boat. Some how the company did not order the meals. We were told we would receive a refund. We have not received the refund yet but that also falls on me because I have not followed up. Our snorkeling date was March 16, I am writing this April 10th.

Amazing trip joining the turtles at their day spa
投稿者: Anthony, 2020/02/29This cruise was amazing and my partners highlight of our trip. The captain was very informative and went through all the possible creatures we were likely to see. At the reef we saw a number of turtles being cleaned by the fish which was very interesting to see. As a bonus we even saw a humpback whale as we headed back to the dock. Would definitely recommend this cruise.

Crew fantastic, captain Trent helpful and also funny.
Great food and drinks , you don’t need towels nor drinks or food. They serve breakfast as soon as you board.
Book this trip , it’s sooooo good!
