Chief's Luau - Polynesian Show with Authentic Award-Winning Fire Knife Dancing
Show outstanding!
投稿者: Marla, 2022/04/10I loved everything about the traditional dance and music. Amazing — especially the fire show. The rest was a huge cattle roundup with loading us onto buses, standing in lines, sitting in long tables, getting food like school lunches — all in a not-ambiance-producing water park. So I honor the Chief and his love, as well as Cousin Lisa our bus driver’s spirit of love and family but there was nothing relaxing about this production. Luau’s should be on grass among trees near water with time to socialize and enjoy the time with new friends and old. Thank you for sharing Polynesian culture though!

Great Show and Dinner!
投稿者: Andrew C., 2022/04/05We purchased the Royal package and it was worth the extra $. We were the first to go up to dinner and front row seating.
The show was funny and entertaining! The Chief put in a lot of funny jokes and taught the audience some Hawaiian words and phrases. Food was great, with roasted pork as the centerpiece with lots of authentic-tasting foods.
Would definitely do it again!

Good entertainment

I’ll never forget how welcomed I felt with that lei made with real flowers. I kept it . It simply a must do . It was my birthday and they sang happy birthday to me. I could go on an on. Great party.

Great show! Little long
投稿者: Jill, 2022/04/02Great show and good food. Just be aware this is long, we were there almost 4 hours from start to finish. Could be a little shorter in my opinion, but the fire thrower was the best we have ever seen at a luau.

They were very interactive. Lots of jokes, food was great. The atmosphere was nice and the overall staff was very good. Feels very authentic to me

Great entertainment but not so great food

The story line/context of the dance/show was very similar, performed better at Chief’s, the comedy was fantastic but the food fell so far short I felt like we paid way too much for the overall experience.

ハワイの夜、楽しかったです。

食事も大変美味しく頂きました。

投稿者: Walter & Shannon, 2022/03/23Went here for my wife and I 30th anniversary. We wanted to experience a more "authentic" Hawaiian Luau, not the Las Vegas type with all the glitz. Food was fine, but the hostesses,waiters were outstanding. The ambiance of the setting is paradise. Then there was the actual show! Can't say enough about how much we loved it! Very very talented dancers, musicians and storytellers! Really awesome experience!

First Timers vs. Veteran Luau
投稿者: Cynthia Haynes, 2022/03/20For those of us who had been to previous luaus this experience was amazing. The attention to history and story telling was very interesting. The costumes, dances and national history was educational as well as entertaining. (Especially the fire dancer!) Some of our friends had never been to a luau before and also thought it was wonderful. The food was presented beautifully and delicious. (The drinks were excellent too!) We even tried the poi because this was the first time it had ever been explained to us how to eat it and with what food combination. The location was easy to find and parking was ample. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great experience for our group of six and would highly recommend this event.

Paradise Cove experience
投稿者: Rbj, 2022/03/18We had a very enjoyable time at Paradise Cove. From the start when our bus driver and tour guide picked us up until they dropped us off, it was exceptional. The activities before the main performance were very good. The live performance was exceptional. The dancers and other performers were great. The food and beverages were good as well. All in all, this was one of the highlights of our vacation on Oahu.

Hula good time !!!!

Entertainment quality was awesome, food was as well. Staff was super friendly and the gardens were immaculate. You won't be disappointed.

Such a eventful luau
投稿者: Gziggy01, 2022/03/09The luau was on a beach so the views were incredible. The luau itself always had something to do during the 4 hours you were there. There were 600 people there and they had activities you can do until the show started such as taking pics with colorful parrots (costs extra), kayaking, and throwing arrows. The buffet was pre-portioned and consisted of fried fish, Pork, buns, poi, salad, rice, a cupcake, and ribs. It was very filling. The show was very comical and i highly recommend. I just wish the seating was a little closer since I was at the winged tables.

Fun First Night on the Island
投稿者: Wendy, 2022/03/08Going to the luau was a great way to kick off our trip to Hawaii learning about the history and culture, traditions and customs. Staff were attentive, meal was varied to allow for local cuisine and picky eaters in the group ( who knew Chick nuggets and Mac was customary but a fan fav for the kids!). Banana bread delicious. The show entertaining and ambiance pretty overlooking the water.

It was perfect: the food was fine , not Grand but I just am a picky eater so I think it was fine. The show was awesome !!! Well done! The host of the show did a good job also : getting old so his voice wasn’t fantastic but who cares .

Family fun
投稿者: Karen , 2022/03/02Overall, this was a good experience for my family. We went with 3 kids and 6 adults including grandparents. The food was tasty, but not a lot of choices for picky eaters. The show was fun and the kids were thrilled by the fire dancer! Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, they did not have any pre-event activities to keep the kids engaged. My daughter really wanted to learn to hula dance as advertised, but they did not have it the night we went. I cannot fault them for taking Covid precautions. Again, overall, the whole family walked away from this happy and with good memories.
