Waikiki Luau with All-You-Can-Eat Buffet Dinner, Fire Dance & Rock-A-Hula Show

投稿者: Marisa Ramirez, 2022/11/17Upon arrival to the Luau we were greeted by a young lady selling beautiful purple lei’s. Of course we had to have one not only for the beauty, but the feeling of being welcomed in to the community as well.
The host/dancer/MC/ bartender was extremely friendly with everyone. We were ushered to our seats by a wonderful young man that not only performed at the luau, but also at Rock a Hula. This young man was full of passion for the culture and the love of dance.
The drinks and pineapple were at great start to our dinner as well as the traditional dancing while we waited for the main course.
There was plenty of dishes to chose from including seafood, pork, beef, chicken, and even vegetarian choices. I personally recommend the fried pig skin as it was the absolute most delectable dish we were privy to enjoy during our visit. After dinner we tried each of the 5 different desserts. None of them blow your socks off, but are nonetheless tasty as well. There is also after dinner coffee for those of you who enjoy a nice hot cup of Joe before the Rock a Hula.
You could order drinks during dinner and before the Rock a Hula began as well.
The choice of a local musician and singer was a wonderful way to start the show. The classic Elvis performance seemed to fit the show perfectly and added to the fun filled and interactive show. The only thing that felt out of place was the Michael Jackson performance. While it wasn’t bad, it just didn’t seem to fit in to the rest of the event in general. I would give the luau and Rock a Hula a 7 out of 10 stars.

Exactly as expected and a little more
投稿者: Josh B, 2022/11/16Overall we got exactly what we were expecting, which, for us, was actually refreshing. So many businesses mislead these days. We were happy with our experience and pleasantly surprised at the Rock A Hula show afterwards.
Our first impression was great. The setup under the large tents and the decor and dishware were all very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were seated quickly and immediately served our complimentary Mai Tai and offered fresh pineapple at the table. We ordered more adult beverages and while they tasted fine, did not seem to have much if any alcohol in them. The MC did a good job of keeping things running smoothly and had an upbeat attitude. We enjoyed the dancers and learning to hula felt very welcoming. They presented the roasted pig with the traditional apple in its mouth. Definitely try some along with the crispy skin. We found the food at the buffet somewhat bland, but that was our experience throughout most of Hawaii.
After dinner we proceeded to the large theater for the show. This presentation is much bigger and longer than we anticipated. We would attend this show by itself without the dinner and pay handsomely for it. The Elvis and MJ impersonators were great! The charisma and crowd interactions of both of them and other entertainers were spot on! The show is a bit long and disjointed though. And while we do love MJ and his songs, some seemed a bit "off-brand" for a Hawaiian themed hula show. Thriller was one, even though the zombies were great and so was Michael.
Overall we'd give the luau and show a 7 out of 10. Food and drinks could be better and show could be shorter and more on-brand. We would still highly recommend it, especially for the price.

The food was delicious, and the server was very informative on what each dish was and provided a brief history of it. The service was impeccable. Each employee made it a point to provide a top notch experience! The show was also very enjoyable! Great performers, great story, and very thorough history. And the view...holy crap!!! We don't have anything to compare it to, but I would HIGHLY recommend this luau! (Oh, and we also purchased a beautiful carved whale tail from a vendor on -site).

お肉が中心でしたが、魚や野菜もありました。
食事中の座席の間隔は狭い印象です。会場到着順に座席が指定されているようです。
ショー中はマスクを着用して、鑑賞しました。
周りの方はあまりマスクはしておりません。
日本国外の観光客の方が多い印象でした。
スタッフは日本語も多少しゃべれる方がおりました。
フラダンスにファイヤーダンスもあり楽しかったです。

ロック・ア・フラショウ
投稿者: MAN, 2022/11/07毎年通っていたハワイもコロナ禍で３年ぶり、例年はハワイ島やマウイ島、カウアイ島でフラショーを見ることが恒例でした。
今回はワイキキで初めて見るロック・ア・フラショウを楽しみに参加しました。
ビュッフェはコロナ禍とは思えないほど狭い間隔に座らされ、食事の内容も普通であまりお勧めとは言えません。
食事の後、場所をホールに移動してショーが始まりました。
マイケルジャクソン、エルビスプレスリー（もどき）が似ているかは別として
室内での観劇は煌びやかで楽しいひと時でした。
またハワイへ連れていく人がいたら参加したいと思います。

会場内がとにかく寒い！

ただVIP席の人たちも結局詰め詰めのお席での食事でしたので、他の方たちとの特別感は特になかったです。
ショーの会場内もそんなに広くないので、べつにVIPで予約しなくても後方の席でも十分観覧できるなと思いました。
会場はとにかく寒いので羽織ものは必須です。
エルビスプレスリーとマイケルジャクソンのモノマネさんがでてくるのですが、世代が違う方にはあまり受けないかもしれません。
ファイアーショーは良かったです。

ワイキキから行きやすくいいとこ取りなショー内容
投稿者: おくらたん, 2022/11/05初めてのハワイということで、オアフ島内でルアウショーに行きたくて色々と調べていたのですが、ワイキキ中心にあるという立地の良さで決めました。ロイヤルハワイアンセンター内にあるので、買い物もできますしホテルからとても近くて大変便利でした。
まず初めはビュッフェから始まるのですが、スタッフの方たちがとてもフレンドリーでした。同じテーブルには様々な国の方がいらしていたのですが、みんなで自己紹介しあって和気あいあいとした雰囲気でした。英語ができなくても全然大丈夫です！新婚旅行だと伝えると即興で歌ってくださり、嬉しかったです。
食事内容はザ・アメリカンという感じ(笑)とにかく量が多いのでお腹いっぱいになりました。
食事が終わるとショー会場へ。
思ったよりもステージがとても近く、生バンドということもあり、ライブハウスのような感じでした。年代ごとのフラダンスから始まり、エルヴィスプレスリーとマイケルジャクソンのそっくりさんのステージ続きました。聴いたことある曲ばかりでとても楽しめました。
そしてなりよりも凄かったのがファイヤーダンスです。とにかく圧巻でした。全体を通して行ってよかったと思いました。おすすめです！

ロックおよびフラショに感動

・屋外でのビュッフェの食事でした。
・席は、長テーブルがいくつかあり、そこに椅子が隙間なくあり、隣の人との間隔はほぼありません。
・豚の丸焼き他、食事は美味しかったです。
●ショー
・ＶＩＰ席は臨場感がよく伝わり良かった。
・エルビス・プレスリーとマイケル・ジャクソンのショーは、想像以上にクオリティが高く楽しめました。
・ポリネシアショーも一緒に楽しむことができて最高でした。
・写真撮影（ストロボＮＧ）はＯＫ、ビデオ撮影はＮＧです。
・また、利用したいと思います。

Amazing Night!

We were so touched by the recognition of anniversaries. The flowers were a beautiful touch. I highly recommend the Chief Luau. No trip to Hawaii will be complete with a visit to see the Chief! Mahalo!

Wow factor!
投稿者: Shelby, 2022/10/26Super fun experience! The show was by far the most entertaining show we experienced during our stay in Oahu. The dancing was beautiful and the fire dancing was jaw dropping! We attended during our honeymoon and we were made to feel unbelievable special despite countless honeymooners and anniversaries attending as well. The only reason I did not award 5 stars is because the food was pretty mediocre. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either. The drinks however, were delicious so that makes up for it!

Fun First Time Family Activity
投稿者: Michelle Thompson, 2022/10/24I brought my family to the luau since it was our first time to Hawaii. The dancers, musicians and fire knife dancers were very impressive. The food was abundant and pretty good. The weather cooperated, and it was a lovely evening.
Compared to other luau experiences I looked at, this one was affordable. However, I didn’t feel like the food was as good as it could have been. The chicken was good—but it was dark meat. The pork was tender but had little flavor. The dessert was cake with a few pieces of pineapple next to it. Pretty expensive for dinner and entertainment.
It was nice that two drink tickets for beer, wine or Mai Tais were included with each ticket and free water and juice were available to all.
It was fun that the cast came out afterwards so people could have their pictures taken with them.

五感で楽しむハワイに大満足♡

夫婦揃ってハワイ旅行が初めてということもあり、「食」と「エンターテインメント」がセットになったこちらのツアーはとてもお得感がありました。
ビュッフェディナー
ディナー会場には 日本人だけでなく、さまざまな国籍の方がいます。また、参加のきっかけも人それぞれで、私たちのようなハネムーナーもいればお誕生日の方や結婚記念日のご夫婦など、特別な日を祝いに来ている方がたくさんいらっしゃいました。料理はVIP席の方が優先なので、取りに行けるまでの待ち時間は少し長めに感じましたが、その間にもスタッフの方が話し掛けにきてくださったり、ウクレレでお祝いの歌を歌ってくださったりと、ただ「待つ」だけではなかったのが嬉しかったです。
ビュッフェメニューもハワイのお魚やお肉・野菜やお芋が色とりどりに揃っており、味だけでなく見た目も楽しめました。食事の途中でもフラ講座などがあり、そちらも見たいしご飯も食べたいしで、あっという間のディナータイム。二周目を取りに行く間もなく食事の時間が終わってしまったのが悔やまれる……！(笑) とにかく、案内のキャストさんたちがとても朗らかで親しみやすく、近くの席になった他の皆さんともワイワイ盛り上がりました。
ショータイム
食事が終わると、ホールに移動していよいよ「ロック・ア・フラショー」が始まります。客席はほとんど自由席になっており、VIPの指定席以外は空いていればどこでも座れました。ディナー会場にいたキャストさんもダンサーとして登壇しているので、「あ！さっきのお兄さんだ！」と自分の席の担当キャストさんを探すのもまた一興。ショーの内容も、年代・ジャンルもあれこれ散りばめられていてたいへん興味深かったです。
現地のプロシンガーさんのオリジナルソングや、エルヴィス・プレスリーやマイケル・ジャクソンに扮するキャストさんのパフォーマンスも素晴らしく、知っている曲はもちろんのこと、知らない曲でもノリノリで楽しめます。また、歌だけでなく踊りの種類や見どころも豊富で、天井からダンサーさんが降りてきたり、舞台上でサーフボードを乗り回したりと、演出もお見事！ハワイの伝統的な音楽や踊りの演目もあり、合間には解説もしてくれるので、愉しむだけではなく学びもあるひとときでした。個人的に一番印象的だったのは、ファイアー・ダンス。身体の小さな少年が、全身で炎を操りながら踊る姿は圧巻で、息を呑みながら見守り、決めポーズでは感動の鳥肌とともに大きな拍手を贈りました。終演後はロビーでキャストさんたちと面会・記念写真撮影もできるので、気持ちが熱いうちに感想を直接伝えられるのが最高に嬉しかったです。
参加してから少し経っているにもかかわらず、楽しかった思い出をひとつひとつ振り返っていたら 感想が長くなってしまいました。しかし、どれだけ長く書いたところで、「百聞は一見に如かず」です。味覚・聴覚・視覚・嗅覚・触覚……まさに、全身でハワイを浴びられるツアーだと思います。ぜひ！

Good value, Loved the show!

But the food was plentiful and the Mai Tai was great! Every employee had a smile on their face and seemed really happy that we were there. I can't say enough about the show; it made the night a real good value!

想像の10倍楽しい!満足感たっぷりのショー&ディナー

ロイヤルハワイアンセンターの4階にある食事会場でご飯を食べその後ショーに行く流れでした。
ハワイの伝統的なダンスやマイケルジャクソンのショーはとても楽しく最高の一日になりました。
料理も美味しくお肉は絶品でした。
ショーの途中でマイケルと握手をしたり、エルビスからタオルを貰ったりと観客を飽きさせない構成、次々と色々な歌やダンスが繰り広げられあっという間に時間が経ってしまいました。
ぜひ日本に帰ったらハワイに行く人にお勧めしたいと思います!ありがとうございました

Loved it! Wonderful staff! Spectacular show!
投稿者: Rock a Hula Fun, 2022/10/16From before we stepped into the venue, we were pleased! We had a scheduling snafu (our own fault), and was so pleased with how the manager, Joyce, handled it! (Thanks again Joyce, for your help!) Then, we were off to the luau. Things were seamless; we were greeted with smiling faces throughout the night. After being given our Mai Tai, we were seated and ate the great typical luau foods. After eating salad, beef, pork, potatoes, mac salad, desserts, etc., with some entertainment sprinkled in, we headed to the outstanding show.
The show was spectacular! Great music and dance from the 1920's to the present. It was great to see that some of the hard-working servers at the meal then went onstage as hula dancers and singers! The Michael Jackson and Elvis impersonators were fabulous! They had the voices, movements and showmanship down pat! It ended with a fire show.
At the end, they announced that we could get photos taken with the Michael and Elvis. I thought there would be someone there taking photos (and about $20), but was pleasantly surprised that we could just walk up to the stars and take pictures on our phones for free!
I wouldn't hesitate to go again, and recommend it to anyone! Time in Waikiki is valuable; this is a great way to spend a whole evening!

期待値以上でコスパ良し
投稿者: ろめ夫, 2022/10/132人目無料クーポンがあった為、2階席限定がネックだったが、このビュッフェ付きショーを選択。結果、私達のイメージする はるか遠い2階席ではなく、小さい会場の1階A席前列のイメージで、思ったより間近に感じ、お得感があった❣️ファイアーショーは、小学高学年❓中1❓位の子が演じており、ショウ終了後の写真撮影の時、あっと驚き感心しきりだった。また、他のショーや踊り、歌真似も上手く、私達の後部席の外人さん達がスリラーで大盛り上がり❗️会場毎の雰囲気にもよるだろうが、楽しく過ごせた❗️ソックリさんが握手する為に空けてある列の後部席に座ればお得感満載 食事は特にパン、デザートが美味しく全体的に口に合ってると思う。誕生日の方にはウクレレでお祝いの歌を、その他食事中も歌や踊りで楽しめた。ショーだけでも良いが、ビュッフェスタイルの食事の取り方、残し方の文化の相違を観察出来た事も良かった❗️

A Must Do Experience that Exceeded my Expectations!
投稿者: Michele N. , 2022/10/11The dinner and show were a great way to spend time in Hawaii, and I would do this one again! The food was tasty, plentiful, and offered more of a variety of choices than some of the other luaus I’ve attended on the island. Be sure to come hungry! I was thrilled that I could enjoy a welcome mai tai since they had a nonalcoholic option. I thought I was going to have to miss out, but they had me covered, and it didn’t taste like it was only pineapple juice. After the delicious dinner and fun fellowship with other guests, it was time for the show. The transition from the dining area to the show venue was smooth. The staff was so helpful. Shout out to Sheena!
Some of the performers in the show had also attended to us at the luau. It was awesome to see them in their element on stage. They were professional in both settings, and so talented on stage. I felt like I was watching friends perform. I knew the show was about Hawaii over time, but I was pleasantly surprised when “Elvis” came on stage and you also had to bolt me to my seat when “Michael Jackson” appeared. Both performers were believable! The fire dancer was lit! (Pun intended) and the energetic dancers and singers were top notch. Be sure to come with a camera to take lots of pictures with the flash off, of course! You will not be disappointed!

純粋にポリネシアンダンスだけの方が。
投稿者: サクラサク, 2022/10/10プレスリーもマイケルも、アメリカではまだ有名なのかもしれないけど、日本だともう懐メロの範疇かな。洋楽大好きな還暦過ぎの私でも、プレスリーなどリアルに歌っているのを知らないので、若い人にはちょっと無理かなと思いました。伝統的なフラダンスだけの方がハワイらしくて良いと思いました。

投稿者: The Arms Family , 2022/10/08They say Hawaii is beautiful I totally agree, we had the deluxe package, I wasn’t feeling good and almost canceled wow I’m so glad I didn’t it was amazing, the tour guide was hilarious and sweet, the food was emasculate,you get plenty, there were games to play and tattoos the only thing that was disappointing was my husband ask to take a picture of the beautiful birds next to the water and was told No, but the rest of the people we’re great the singers, and especially the dancers but a huge shout out to the fire show it was worth everything penny that you pay it’s something everyone should see it was my birthday so I got a shout out Thank you so much, I wanted this since I was seven yes old and didn’t get to enjoy it like I wished but I made it thank you all for an awesome day the Arms family

とてもよいパフォーマンスでした！
食事は大人数の相席でご飯を食べに行くまで時間がかかりました。
マスクをしている人はいません。そもそもハワイでマスクをしてる人はほぼいません。
隣の人と距離がとても近いので感染不安などある方はおすすめできません。
ハワイなので気にしている人は少なさそうです。
食事の内容はまぁまぁという感じです。お肉はとても美味しかったです。
フラショーだけのプランでもよいかもしれません。

Always a wonderful Maui Time!

写真と違うしテーブル席じゃなかった
投稿者: サンフ, 2022/10/03VIPで予約し、一番前の席とのことだったが、写真で見た限り、テーブル席なのに実際はテーブル席などなく、普通の席だった。変更があるならそう書くべきだと思う。しかも、vipと普通の予約で値段が大きく違うのに普通でも席はvipの一つ後ろなだけ。
こちらは写真を見て予約するのに酷すぎる

Waikiki Luau with All-You-Can-Eat Buffet Dinner, Fire Dance & Rock-A-Hula Show
So glad there was a covered area from the rain!
投稿者: Yes to Hawaii, 2022/09/29Tasty buffet dinner! The food was DELICIOUS. I really liked the variety of food - and dessert options! While I'm not vegetarian, I did notice there were a few vegetarian options - including the fried rice (my favorite). There was some hula dancing for the first part of the dinner and we could join in for hula lessons. I liked that this was an outdoor dinner BUT there was a covered tent above us in case of any rain.
And, it did end up raining. Lucky for us, the covered tent kept us nice and dry. Then, we headed inside to the indoor theater where we saw the Vegas-style impersonators for Elvis, Michael Jackson, and a local performer.
