Trilogy Excursions are great!
投稿者: Rick, 2008/10/23Trilogy has been in the boat excursion business longer than anyone here; and we can see why they are still at it. We came here to Maui in October 2008 and before in August 2004.
Their staff is well trained; they know what they are doing and where to go; and they are very helpful towards beginners and advanced folks alike.
This was my first time snorkeling and the staff really helped train me well so that I became confident very quickly. I was once a good swimmer but a major health crises kept me out of the water for quite a while and I was rusty. Ryan was helpful in reminding me of how to get back into swimming and then snorkelling became very easy.
The skipper had a great sense of humor and we will definitely use Trilogy again when we come back to Maui, using them for several different excursions.
When you are in Maui; check them out!

Amazing Fern Grotto
投稿者: Rich, 2008/10/18This was an amazing Cruise down the Wialua River to the Fern Grotto. The staff was great and told of the history of the river and the grotto. The return trip included hawaiian music and hula lessons. I would really recommend this trip to everyone.

2.5-Hour Waikiki Whale Watching Cruise aboard Majestic Luxury Yacht [Dec - Mar]
Amazing whales! Wow!
投稿者: Kayla Westing, 2008/10/17My family and I went on this tour last year, and we cannot wait to visit the islands once again to experience more whale watching!
The onboard whale expert was very knowlegable and even though my daughter peppered her with questions throughout the tour, she was very attentive and answered each one throughly.
I do wish that there was a bit more outside deck space since it was rather limited, but there was plenty of space indoors, and there were quite a few windows as well.
Great tour!

Fun for kids
投稿者: Jane, 2008/09/29This was a pleasant outing and particularly enjoyable for kids. If you think you might get seasick, I would recommend you take a ginger capsule before you go. Looking down into the water can make you a little queezy. Very informative and was helpful to have someone describing what you see.

Non snorkelers - don't miss out!
投稿者: JK, 2008/09/21I don't know how to swim, and no way would I try snorkeling without even knowing how to float, so this was right up my alley. The staff was engaging and funny and knew a lot about the fish that we saw. We floated over several clusters of coral and although I didn't see anything as cool as a dolphin or manta ray, I did see a variety of exotic fish I had never known outside of an aquarium. Sadly, it's a quick 1 hour because you're so focused on looking at the windows that you lose track of time.
I don't recommend taking tons of pictures like someone here suggested, only because the fish move so fast that you'd probably get bad shots anyway and secondly, you really want to enjoy this uninterrupted without a contraption mounted to your face. Maybe take a snapshot of the first reef so you can tell people "I experienced this," then put the camera away for good.

Awesome TIme

After the snorkeling they took the group out sailing and it was even better. We all got drunk and had a awesome time and wonderful day. We to a Cocktail Cruise with them the last day of our trip. Most recommened.

Fantastic Voyage!

We had been on several boats during our visit and the crew on this trip was the BEST! We can't wait to see the photos! Mahala and a hui hou!

Lehua Crater & Na Pali Coast Guided Snorkel Tour with Breakfast, Lunch & Drinks
A Great Day
投稿者: Sadiej, 2008/07/26Captain Chris and his crew took care to make sure every passenger was looked after and made to feel at home. Watching the sun come up on the Na Pali coast was spectacular and the snorkeling spot was to die for.
The water can be rough so take precautions for sea sickness.
This was a great trip. I personally didn't need to have the "Forbidden Isle" portion. It's forbidden because you can't go anywhere near it.
All said though - a very good trip!

モロキニ島 シュノーケリングクルーズ ＜英語ガイド／食事・アルコール2杯付き＞
いいんじゃない
投稿者: マナティ, 2008/07/11初めてトリロジーのツアーに参加しましたが、船での移動も快適だし、キャプテンほかスタッフも親しみ易く楽しい人たちで、とても楽しく過ごせました。昼のＢＢＱランチもうまかったし、久しぶりに飲んだダイエットcokeも新鮮でした。
しいていえば、モロキニ島や2度目に行ったポイント（キヘイの沿岸かな）の歴史などをキャプテンが説明してくれたのだけれど、僕ら夫婦は片言英語しかできないので、まったく理解できなかったのが残念です。日本語のツアーがあるといいんだけれど。
一応、アカウミガメにも会えたし、セイルを張ってのんびりと写真など撮りながら帰港したなど、いい思い出が増えました。

Fern Grotto River Ride
投稿者: Barbara, 2008/05/22We loved this tour. The ride up the river was informative and absolutely beautiful. Walking the Grotto was amazing. So many types of plants. You will be amazed. Be sure to walk through slowly. Look at every flower and in between leaves so you don't miss the giant bumble bees or the beautiful birds. Some people walked too quickly and missed these wonders of nature.
The ride back was pleasant with the staff playing music and dancing. They were great guides and great people. One of the guides walked slowly with us and told us all about the different plants and what the natives used these plants for. Super informative. I felt sorry for those who didn't take the time to listen to his wealth of knowledge.

Handicap Access
投稿者: Mrs. Harless, 2008/05/12The trip was listed as a short, rugged walk, but is handicap accessible. I would have liked this information ahead of time, as walking on concrete is very painful for me, and I would have taken my scooter if I had known there was a paved walk way. I would like to go again sometime, when the ferns have recovered from the damage of the 2006 Hurricane. Cruise was informative, entertaining and fun!

Fern Grotto Boat Ride
投稿者: Mr. Anonymous, 2008/04/02Our family enjoyed this short boat ride to the Fern Grotto. The Grotto itself has changed since our last trip to Kaua'i. Sit on the left side of the boat while it is at the dock (which will then be the right side going up the river). That way you can see most of the sights the guide points out on the way to the Fern Grotto. It was informative, especially for first timers. Next trip, we will probably kayak up to the Grotto.

Good Family Fun
投稿者: The Nicholas', 2008/02/19As first-timers to the Fern Grotto, my husband and I had a great time!The boat ride, hula instruction, music, and entertainment were typically Hawaiian, which is just what we wanted to experience! We took the 3:30 Fern Grotto trip so we could follow it up with the Smith's Family Luau (in the same location). The Luau cuisine was great followed by a spectacular music production professionally presented providing us with a greater understanding of the traditions and heritage of the Polynesian culture. WHAT A SHOW! We recommend BOTH of these for your family and friends. You will not be disappointed!!

Had a GREAT Time!

From reading other comments, we thought we were not going to see any whales or they would not be as active as the pictures show. But, they were definately right on time! Plus, the lunch they served on the boat was good. For the price you pay, you will get your moneys worth and certainly enjoy yourself. I would recommend this activity to anyone that enjoy whale watching, especially on a nice boat.
