オープンドアでドキドキ度倍増！

どうしても活動しているキラウェアを見てみたくて参加しました。私は普段乗り物酔いなどが激しく、ヘリコプターも心配していたのですが彼の希望もあって扉なしのオープンドアにチャレンジ。初めは怖くてジェットコースターに乗っている気分でしたが、慣れてしまえば風がここちよく感じられる程でした！
教科書でしかみたことないような赤い溶岩を間近でみれましたし、スタッフの対応も◎。ヘリコプターだけでしか行けない場所ですし、火山以外のハワイの景色も同時に楽しめるので彼もとても喜んでいました。

Paradise Helicopters is an excellent company and I would highly recommend the Fire and Falls tour out of Hilo. For three of the four of us, this was our first time in a helicopter and it was amazing. Our pilot Dylan was fantastic and gave us a personal guided tour which was great because the whole ride was very interactive. Definitely the best way to see the Volcano and Water Falls!

The "doors off" was everything I had expected.....spectacular!!! Combine this with Jacks Volcano House Landing and you have a fantastic adventure. Jack Thompson met us and was a very cordial tour guide of the devastation that has occured arround his house. The pilot was an obvious experienced professional. The flight was smooth and not "white knuckle" at all. My wife was even pleasantly surprised, and she hates to fly!!!

Open Door Experience with waterfall

We took the open door with landing at Jack's lava house. It was a very neat experience getting to walk on the lava rock. Be prepared for being wind-blown on the open doors, and take a jacket as it can be chilly in the air. Overall a very nice experience, but don't expect big "red lava flows" as that is not realistic. You can't exactly "feel the heat" and the waterfalls are not close up views they are more from a distance and thrown in at the end, But still pretty spectacular scenery!

溶岩や火口を上から見たかったので感激しました。
パイロットは女性で、ゆっくりと分かりやすい英語で
説明してくれました。
その上ランディングサービスがあって溶岩の上を気の済むまで歩くことが出来、きれいな溶岩をひらったりしてとても
楽しい時間を過ごしました。

Worth the Money

I wavered back and forth with doing a helicopter ride since it is so expensive. My boyfriend and I went on the Falls and Fire tour, which was interesting. I am glad we did it, since much of the volcano viewing area was closed due to the fumes, but I wish we could have gone at night to see the lava flows better. It was a bit inconvenient for us due to the weather (we had to reschedule), luckily we could be a bit flexible. I would recommend a helicopter ride in Hawaii to anyone, since it is a unique experience and the views are phenomenal.

ヘリコプター事務所にチェックイン（場所は分かりやすい）ヘリコプターは初めての体験で私達３名外人２名のファミリーで座席も国産乗用車並みです、パイロットは日本語が通じヘットホンにて双方向コミュニケーシヨンが出来たことが旅を楽しく出来ました、天気は晴れ曇り雨と目まぐるしい変化でしたが上空からの景色は地上からの景色とは違い酔を心配しましたがパイロット最高、スペシャルフライトが付いておりカラペナの溶岩流の近くに着陸し地元の人のガイドで溶岩の上を歩くことが出来たこと、いろいろな体験が出来、最高のフライトでした。
クレームは昼食が含まれると有ったが不明であった事が残念。

Great Experience

This was a really enjoyable day. The staff was friendly and informative. We felt like we had made new friends by the end of the day. Definitely recommend taking more than one day to see the Volcano National Park, though. There a lots of trails to hike that can not be accessed by the bikes.
A big Mahalo to the staff for putting together a lovely "adventure".

When my fiancee told me that he wanted to take a bike tour of a volcano, I was like, "NO WAY!" but I am SOOO glad that I went since it was literally the BEST tour that we went on while on the Big Island!
The guides are soooo informative and all the places we were able to go was way awesome. It was so nice to feel the sun and the breeze while touring instead of being cooped up in a bus! :)
My favorites were seeing the old lava flows, the smoking crater and the visit to the winery. I brought back a few bottles and everyone LOVES them!
I can't wait to try this again and have reccomended this tour to all of my friends! Yay! :)

ハワイ島のヒロとキラウエアに行ってきた。海砂が黒く自然あり綺麗で亀も上陸するらしくセカンドハウスにほしいところですね。本当に疲れを癒すヒロの海砂ビーチは、透明度も良くて良い海岸です。観光のハイライトは火の女王「ペレ」の伝説が伝わるキラウエア火山。大自然の鼓動を大地から感じる印象深い感動的な1日を堪能出来ました。やはり、世界遺産のキラウエア火山を見なければ、ハワイへ来たという実感はありませんね。長年にわたり火口からの噴火はないが、2008年3月19日、水蒸気爆発とみられる爆発により周囲に噴石や火山灰を降らせ、火口の展望台をはじめジャガー博物館やクレーター・リム・ドライブの一部が立入禁止とされたらしい。その後も火口からの噴煙と火山灰の噴出が継続しており、4月9日には風向きにより周辺の二酸化硫黄濃度が上昇している。しかし、私たちが訪れたときは、近くまで行くことが出来たが二酸化硫黄ゃ硫化水素ガス噴出の臭いがきつくかなり厳しい状態であった。また溶岩が流れ出たときに出来たトンネル「ラバ・チューブ」や「溶岩流」などは、自然の驚異である大きさに感動せざるを得ないところです。

ここのツアーはラバチューブも行くことができるし、
ヒロの町もゆっくり見れて、とってもおすすめです！

The bike the volcano tour was sooo much fun. My cousin & I are both in our 20's and we had a blast. The age ranges of our group were teen's - 50's. The Guide was very knowledgable & both him & the driver were fun. The sights were awesome, The lunch was tasty, & there was some good downhill spots where you were going pretty fast. Definately want to do it again & probably will do it again.

Once in a Lifetime!

I had the amazing experience of seeing the volcano and lava field from a helicopter with the doors off! This is a once in a lifetime experience! The vantage point is unsurpassed and one really gets the feel for the enormity and power of volcanos. The volcano was very active during my flight and I could view red lava droping into the ocean, "sky lights" and brand new back sand beaches being created. During the flight you also see many of the beautiful waterfalls and varied micro-climates that make up the Big Island. My photos came out great and I was using a small, digital camera. A MUST DO!!

What an experience! The best way to see the park. The guide was great - knew his stuff and was able to adapt when the volcano decided to erupt while we were there. This was the best thing we did while on the island.

The Bike Tour was really alot of fun. Our guide was very informative about the volcano and what its activity and history were. Was hot and tired by the end and did not want to really participate in the wine part, but that was good as well.

先日、４名で参加させて頂きました新婚とその家族です。
とにかくガイドさんが対応などすごく良かったです。かなり体格の良いJINさんという方で、純日本人とは思えない外見です。
内容はあまり珍しい物はないですが、定番観光とヒロの街を１時間ほど自由に見学できて大満足です。
また機会がありましたら、今度はレンタルガイドをしてみたいです。

The helicopter ride with the doors off was very cool! You can feel the heat from the lava! This tour gives you a great view of the different features of the island. It's a bit on the expensive side, but I'd recommend it if you've never done it before.
