マウイ島まで見えて絶景でした。

初めてのレンタカーで不安でしたが、迷わず到着できました。
快晴で見晴らしも最高でした。スタッフさんたちは皆明るく親切です。
グループごとに写真を撮ってくださいます。ところどころにいる牛さんたちも写ったりしていい思い出になりました。60代ですが全然大丈夫です。

乗馬前の説明は英語で全くわからなく、不安でしたが、乗って歩きだしたらなんとかなりました
慣れてきたらすごい素敵な景色をみながら最高な時間を過ごすことができました。

Awesome UTV Ride

Really cool experience riding UTV’s around the Polulu Valley with some well trained and knowledgeable guides. Would highly recommend this tour for those interesting in getting a little dirty while also learning a lot about the history of the big island. My favorite part was riding up to the upper ridge of the valley to the waterfall where you get to have a few snacks and enjoy some stories from the guides. Very hill terrain, be prepared for a rugged but fun trail!

Our trip with Kohala ATV Tour was awesome! Beautiful scenic stops and one of the guides was a great photographer. We learned so much about the history of the big island and the valleys along this coast it was not only fun and scenic but also cool to learn about the history. Not only were the guides amazing and knowledgable on the history and plants but the driver that transported us from the parking lot to the UTV's, Jerry or Jerico, was so funny and outgoing. He definitely got us super excited and eager for this tour after driving an hour and a half from Kona to Kohala at 7AM. He explained a lot about the town of Kohala and all of the things we passed on our way to the trail base. The crew works great together and made sure my boyfriend and I had a great time. We got to swim under a waterfall that is only accessible with this tour and we tried so may of the fruits we passed in the wild throughout the entire tour. Will definitely rebook with this company and will recommend to all friends and family.

初の長めの乗馬

今回の旅で、ちゃんとした乗馬に挑戦したくてこちらのツアーを申し込みましたが、まず場所にビックリ！
説明通りの2000m標高の場所コハラコースト。
タクシーで往復したのですが、こんなに空気の薄い場所で大丈夫かなと思いましたが、そんな心配はご無用。気さくなハワイカウガール達の親切な説明で難なく馬に乗せていただき、１列になって高原の海原へと進んで行きました。
生憎天候は不純で、2時間の間に何度か雨に合いましたが、眼下に広がるコナ地域の海岸線を見下ろしたり、高原には沢山の牛と出会いました。
一生の宝物になる体験ができました。

We did the 1 1/2 hr.& its a great view.The guides were fun. This is not ride in a line, you can spread out and go faster in a few areas. Wear jeans, hats and bring a jacket even if it's hot where you are! It's beautiful, lush and on grazing land for their cattle and sheep. Loved it, and would recommend! Thank you for a great memory!

美しい海を見下ろす最高の乗馬体験✨

親族2家族（小学生2名、中学生2名、大人4名）で参加しました。
牧場にはヘルメットが用意されており、それぞれの判断で無料でお借りすることができます。（落馬の可能性があるのでヘルメットは被った方がいいです！）
初めに牧場の方が馬の動かし方や注意事項をざーっと説明してくださいました。（全て英語なので、子供たちには軽く通訳してあげる必要があります。）
その後牧場の方が参加者の体型などから馬を選んでくださり、早速乗馬。日本ではあり得ないと思いますが初心者でも同じように馬に乗り、引馬でもなく、全員牧場の外へ！馬がかなり慣れているので前の馬に続く形で隊列を組んで進みますが馬の性質によっては早く進みたがったりなかなか、進まなかったり。。ということももちろんありました。
途中駆け足に挑戦しよう！と、駆け足チャレンジもあったので小3の子など、振り落とされないか少しドキドキしました。
アメリカならではの大胆なツアーですがとにかく美しい海を見下ろしながらの乗馬はすばらしく、一生の思い出になると思います✨

美味しいランチボックステイクアウトに始まり、農場でマカデミアナッツ試食、その後はキラウエア。ボルケーノセンターからはじめてさまざまなクレーターを楽しみ、暗くなったから鮮やかなオレンジ色の溶岩を眺め、望遠鏡撮影。最後は隊長の解説のもと、星空を堪能しました。隊長の説明は博学ながら嫌味なく、優しくユーモアがあり最高でした。！5歳の子供の扱いも流石でしたー。また島に来たいと思いました！

星空観測に続いてキラウエア観光もお世話になりました。ハワイ島の素晴らしさを今回和田隊長に沢山教えて頂きハワイ島が大好きになりました。
キラウエアは自然の脅威や素晴らしさを教えてくれました。
キラウエアも日が沈むと凄く寒くなりますので防寒対策はしっかりして行った方が良いです少し舐めてました。山の天気は気まぐれなので雨にも打たれて火山湖を見ている時には震える様な寒さでした。雨対策もしっかりされた方が良いです！

ハワイ島のみならず日本の事もよく分かる飽きさせないガイドツアー

星空観測ツアーを和田隊長にお願いしました。
行程相談の段階からもっと調べておけば良かったと思うことが多々ありました。下調べは大事ですね。ハワイ島は本当に広大な島なので移動に結構時間を取られました。村松小農園さんでの見学と試飲は素晴らしいものでした。コーヒー好きな方は是非ツアーに組み入れて下さい。ツアー中ずっと楽しいお話しを聞きながら飽きる事なく過ごしました。
14歳の娘が移動中ずっと隊長とお話ししていたのにはビックリしました‼️結構男性には警戒心が働きいつも親の背中に隠れる様な感じなのに‥。
大事な星空観測は雲が邪魔したりして中々隊長の満足いくものではなかった様で、雲の流れを見ながら3箇所移動して観測しました。日本では決して見ることのできない満天の星を見れて大満足でした。
星空観測本当に寒いです。私は大したことないだろうと思っていましたが、コナの天候気温とは大違い‼️寒さ対策はしっかりして行って下さい。

Most Fun in Hawaii

We spent 8 days on the big island and participated in a number of guided activities (submarine, luau, snorkling, parasail, zip lines) This was by far the most enjoyable. The staff was excellent. There was a great deal of interaction with the dolphins. (We weren't just watching the staff have them perform behaviors) It was educational. It was amazing. It was fun.

ホテルから飛行場の場所は少し車で走りました。飛行場の待合ロビーは混雑しており、注意していないと乗るべきヘリ案内を聞き逃しそうです。
フライト中は、日本人だけで英語と日本語のバイリンガルの説明ではなかったので、情報量も十分で充実したものとなりました。英語と日本語の説明だと疲れるので、とてもラッキーでした。コース、フライト時間も申し分なく、噴火しているハワイ島を堪能しました。帰りのタクシーまでの時間が少なく、フライト映像のUSBが書き上がらず、ハラハラしましたが。

The team was professional, friendly and competent. Toshi, our pilot, was extremely knowledgeable about the areas we flew over and provided some incredible views of the canyons, cliffs and waterfalls along the journey. We were able to spend ample time viewing and enjoying the highlights. Toshi was very knowledgeable about a wide range of topics related to the areas we flew over. Highly recommend this trip for anyone considering it.

This tour is somewhat expensive, but worth the cost. The utv’s are in good shape, the trail is perfect and the guides demonstrate a high level knowledge of the islands. We very much enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting Hawaii.

Incredible experience. Was concerned about the cost but definitely well worth it. They went above and beyond to make the to her accessible for my daughter who has cerebral palsy and challenges walking. The pilot was phenomenal with his knowledge base and engaging us in answering questions. Doing the early morning tour was also great as we did not have a whole lot of clouds and the weather was great.

Nice ride but watch the front seat upgrade.

No doubt the ride itself was amazing! We were able to see a ton of the Big Island and our pilot was great.
However, the interaction at the desk was a little shady. When we arrived we had four in our party plus another passenger who was also assigned to our group. As we checked in the receptionist asked if we wanted to upgrade as the two front seats were still available. First off, that seems strange since there are only four seats across the back - obviously someone in a group of five would need a front seat. The problem came when one in my group wanted to upgrade to the front. They charged the full amount for both front seats. Then the receptionist pulled the single passenger to the side, giving her a "free" upgrade to the other front seat... great for her! If it would have been explained that the full price for both seats would be charged then another from my group would have taken the other front rather than give it away. I understand they have to distribute weight, etc. but the way it was handled was less than desirable. It's unfortunate that a shady sales experience soured an otherwise great day.

I would highly recommend this experience for everyone ! I learned so much about Hawaii and got to see the volcano with the red lava down in it . The amazing north coast , waterfalls watching whales from up there. Best thing ever . Very good pilot and guide! Friendly helpful !! Beautiful views you can only get from a helicopter

The perfect blend of thrilling and scenic.

From our check in contact with Jeremy, our driver, to our trail guides, the guys were friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The UTVs and all other equipment are top rate and inspire confidence. I have off road experience but we got my wife experienced and she did the initial 4 wheelin. She was thrillin and grinning. I have the video to prove it. We took in a lot of spectacular views and scenery. Cruising through the different climate zones was interesting and fun. There were a few, almost “oh shhhh” moments, that made the trip thrilling.
Our guys went out of their way to find us fresh tree ripened fruit. We sampled and took home some Strawberry Guavas and Pineapple Guavas. So delicious.
We were a family group of 5. The oldest is 72 and the youngest is 10 years old.
We agreed, we would all do this tour again. Thanks again Kohala UTV.

They were all so much fun.
We had a blast from the very start. Our tour was a small one with us and one other couple. We went on the first tour of the morning and it was beautiful. This isn’t a quick ride, you actually get a lot of time and amazing views to see.
Your not moving slow and are allowed to put some pressure on the gas. Make sure you follow their instructions and stay with the group and you will have the best time. We stopped at a waterfall and had some water and snack, our grandkids pulled out their lunchables and had the best picnic. I can’t thank our guides enough for the most amazing experience and for finding us some sugarcane to show our grandkids and let them try it.
We rode all over, learned some awesome history and played with sleeping grass. ( I can’t remember the actual name) the kids were shown a game where they throw this little fuzzy thing and play tag. We laughed so hard and got muddy.
Best time ever. This is a must do! Please make sure you show your appreciation at the end. They don’t ask for tips but they sure deserve them.
Mahalo for giving our grandkids and us the best experience and memories.
