First of all I would like to coment how easy it was to book this trip. Even so I made a mistake on the date, Fairwind Cruises had no problem what so ever to correct MY mistake and honor my booking for the right day and time. No hassels what so ever. when do you ever hear about that!!!
The day of our trip we arrived at Kaehou Bay and where greeted and welcomed in the most proffessional manner.Everybody was fitted with sanitized snorkel gear once boarded.Safty intructions where clear and to the point.Refreshments and snacks where plenty.
Staff was helpfull and informative. One of the guys even retieved a $100 dollar bill for a passenger that flew into the water. I hope he got a good tip, lol
The boat took us to Captain Cook Monument where there was incedible snorkling.
The ship had also a highdive and a huge slide. Kids had a ball.
One the way back to the bay delicious mai tais where served.(no host bar)
What an afternoon...............

This was the best snorkel experience I ever had. The crew is very nice. I saw many amazing things, such as coral, beautiful fish, and sea turtles. I even got extremely close to about 20 dolphins. The boat is also nicely equipped with a water slide and diving board, which are a lot of fun. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a great snorkeling experience.

An Unforgetable Trip

This was a highlight of our stay at Big Island. The snorkeling site was wonderful, we saw lots of fish, dophins, sea turtles and a lot of beautiful coral. I got sea sick during the trip, the crew members were very nice to me and made me feel at home. I definitely rate this activity a Five Star!

Wow is really all I can say... the boat was a good size a little rocky so if you get motion sickness you will definatley need to something. The snacks were fruit & a cracker mix, the fruit was very good. The drinks besides water & juice are I believe 50 cents a piece. The Boat had a diving platform & slide, so that was pretty fun. They do have prescription goggles if you need those & flotation devices if you need those as well. One of the best things is there are parts that are anywhere from 2 to 7ish feet from the reef it was so beautiful & at times I was literally swimming with the fish. Awsome place I'll have to go back now with my boyfriend.

Be prepared to get wet!

Kayaking was fun -Cave was not quite what I had expected (much smaller, but impressive all the same) and I didn't think about the fact that I could not see while snorkeling due to not being able to wear glasses. Otherwise, tour guides were great and this was a very enjoyable way to spend time in the sun.

UFO Parasail Adventure - Best Kona Parasailing Tour
We did it! It was Awesome!
We range from 10 yrs old to 38 years old, a family of 6. All of us upgraded onboard to the 1200 ft, except me and my 10 yr old. It gives you that much more line, but only a little more height. It seemed so far frolm the boat! The 800 ft was good for me, and it was SOOO peaceful you feel like you are floating! See my lovely pictures below.

Ocean Kayak Tour!

Two Virginians loved this excursion! We're so glad that we rode on a tandem kayak so we could switch on paddling. You need to be somewhat physically fit so you can keep up with everyone. We were soo lucky to see an off-season whale, as well as a pod of dolphins. I know it's up to mother nature to see these incredible creatures, but i would have still enjoyed the tour without seeing them. Highly recommended.

all I can say about this tour is "wow" if you have never ever paddled in a kayak befor no problem with on tour your guides will teach you how get in and balance yourself, how to hold your paddle, how to paddle toeghter, how to get in and out of your kayak in open water even if you have never done it before because that person was me. My wife and I had the best time toeghter trying to see everything thats going on around you. After they show you how to do everything you just start paddiling out of the bay with your guides along the coast line. Just as we rounded the corner a pod of dolphins swaw by us they were about 100 yrds away from us but what a treat. We stoped for a short break and they showed us how to get in and out of the kayak in the open ocean, then we went cliff to the blow hole paddled in and out of the cave jumped off the cliff then went around to another bay to have lunch and snorkle. My wife did the early morning 3.5 hour trip and we loved it. This was the first time that me and my wife had ever kayaked, the tour guides show you how to do everything from balancing your kayak to getting in and out of your kayak in the open ocean. We seen a pod of dolphins on the way out of the bay, that was great, then we followed the shore line. at one point we were able to paddle into a small cave with a blow hole, and then several members of the tour jumped off the cliff over the cave. It was a bit too high for us so we watched. But we were able to paddle out before the rest with one guide and when we were just around the corner the same pod of dolphins swam under and by us. Several of the dolphins were within touching distance of our kayak. My wife was so in awe she could barely get the camera out! The snacks were yummy and the guides wonderful!. We were able to wander and snorkel at a second sight that had a cove and a shorter cliff that we jumped off! If you can take t

We parasailed during our visit to Kona. My 14-year-old twin sons participated while I observed from the boat. The staff was very professional and even joked with one of my sons who was extremely nervous, setting him at ease before his ride. The ride fulfilled their expectations to the fullest - they wanted to go back up immediately! Pictures were offered - I purchased them but haven't had an opportunity to develop them yet as we just returned home. Didn't really care for the sales pitch of t-shirts, visors, etc. at the end of the ride. As the boys were incredibly excited, I didn't want to disappoint them. I was "encouraged" to spend an additional $75 for t-shirts, which of course, I did. Overall, I would repeat the experience if the opportunity represents itself again!

I was at first a little hesitant to do this activity because I thought that I wasnt going to enjoy it very much but it ended up being me and my boyfriend's faviorite activity that we did! This activity is definitly worth the money that you pay. Not only do you kayak in beautiful clear water, but you get to jump off a 30 ft rock, go into a cave, and snorkel. What more can you ask for??? Everything about this activity was fun and I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Hawaii. Now that I know how much fun kayaking is I plan on doing it in the future. This is a must do!!

What an experience!!

Parasailing in Hawaii was my first time ever and it was quite an adventure. You get amazing views and I got to be in the air with my hubby for ten minutes. On the down side, I was expecting this activity to be my faviorite activity that we signed up for but in the end it wasent on the top of my list. Don't get me wrong, if you have never done this before than I would highly recommend it but if you have already expereienced parasailing than I would spend my money on something else. I think that I might do this again in the future but only if it is not too pricy.

My friend Nancy and I purchased this tour on the Fair Wind as a Father's Day gift for our husbands, Jay & Jim. Jay & I had taken a similar tour in Kauai last summer. We were expecting a similar activity this time, but were pleasantly surprised to find that it was so much more. The catamaran was so much nicer, the snorkeling was wonderful, the crew was so attentive to our every need and the food was great also. We all had a wonderful time and will definitely do the same thing the next time we are on the Big Island of Hawaii. It was also great that the departure place was only a five minute walk from the resort where we were staying. The crew was very helpful in instructing us as to where to snorkel and find the most fish. My husband got some great pictures with his underwater camera. The boat was not over crowded. The weather turned out to be beautiful that day. I would also like to mention that the ages of the four of us range from 65 to 73. We had no problem maneuvering aro

No Fins!

Although we really enjoyed the beautiful setting and being on the water it would have been much more enjoyable if they had provided fins. The water was a little choppy and we weren't able to snorkle as long as we wanted because we were just too tired after all the paddling. Also, we weren't able to enter the sea cave because of the waves. I was hoping to see dolphins or turtles but I guess it wasn't our lucky day. The staff were very nice and helpful but I think there are better sites for snorkling.

綺麗な青い海と優しいインストラクター

9月20日に新婚旅行1日目に参加させていただきました。
初めてのカヤックでしたが、初めに女性のノニさんに日本語で優しく教えていただきインストラクターのケビンさんも、日本語でとても楽しい雰囲気の中参加することができました。
綺麗な青い海や壮大な景色を眺めながらのカヤック。本当に気持ち良くて最高の体験！！！
洞窟の中の神秘的な体験も最高です。
シュノーケリングでは、大きなうにや綺麗な色の魚、私たちが参加した時にはウミガメにも出会うことができました！！
休憩では、ダイブをしたり、溶岩の上で寝転がり天然の溶岩浴でお昼寝。何より海からあがってから頂いたパイナップルがおいしすぎました。
ちょっと体力が必要かな？と思いますが…初めてでも簡単にカヤックができます。乗り物酔いをする方は絶対に酔い止めを飲んでおいたほうがいいです。せっかくの楽しいツアーが台無しになるので…。私はちょっと気持ち悪くなってしまいました…。
帰りはノニさんにホテル近くのおいしいレストランなども教えていただきました（*^_^*）
ケビンさんノニさん優しく教えていただき、楽しい体験をさせていただきありがとうございました！！！

10月初旬に行きました。
天気が悪かったので寒くて10分足らずで海から上がりました。
友人は寒いのに耐えてギリギリまで海に入っていましたが上がってから帰るまでの間ずっと震えていました。
天気が悪いと日が差さないため体感温度も低く身体も乾かないままに帰ることになるのでとても寒かったです。
遠くでイルカが泳いでるのを見ることができ天気さえよければ大満足のシュノーケリングが出来たと思います。

イルカが見れました！

初めてカヤックを経験しました。最初は怖かったけど、できるようになったら楽しかったです。
腕の力があんなにいるとは思いませんでした。
途中でイルカに会えて感動しました（２回も！！）
水族館でしか見たことがなかったので、野生のイルカを傍で見れて本当に良かったです。
シュノーケリングも初めてで、海の綺麗さに驚きました。
綺麗な魚を近くに見ることができ、大興奮でした。
ケビンさん、ノニさんお二人共とても親切で優しくて、
カメラを持って行っていなかった私たちの為に写真をたくさん撮ってくれて、データまで頂き、最後までとても親切でした。

9歳の息子と夫婦2人の3人でスタンダードに参加しました。
主人は高所恐怖症なので最初はビクビクしていましたが、いざ上空にあがってしまうと、ぜんぜん揺れもなくとっても気持ちが良いと言っていました。息子も今度くるときはもう一つ高くあがるデラックスに挑戦すると言ってます。
高いところから見るコナの町は最高でした！！

野生イルカウォッチングクルーズ ケアラケクア湾でのシュノーケリング付き ＜英語ガイド＞

7時半集合だったのですが、ボートの担当スタッフが決まらなかったり、急な参加者の変更があったりで、出船まで１時間以上待たされました。
朝イチのベストタイムを逃したせいか、イルカが見つからずに
２時間近くボートで移動。あきらめてシュノーケリングポイントへ移動して３０分くらいでイルカに遭遇できました。
大きな群れで、赤ちゃんイルカも見られて結果的には満足です。

午前中のツアーに妻と参加しました。
すべて英語での案内ですが、受付でのチェックインの際に日本語の注意事項の用紙を渡されますので、乗船の際の口頭での内容とほぼ同じかと思います。英語が苦手な私は理解できたのは半分以下ですが事前に注意事項を読んでおけばなんとなく理解できます。綺麗なサンゴ礁にカラフルな魚を眺めているだけで幸せな気分でした。行きには船が作る並で遊ぶイルカも登場。食事や飲み物も充分お腹いっぱいになります。お子様もたくさんいらっしゃいましたし、老若男女が楽しめると思います。浮き輪もあります。
米国本土からの旅行者がほとんどのようでしたが、日本人参加者は他に数組いらっしゃいました。しかし、スタッフがあまり日本人に絡んでこない印象も。もちろん、放置ということでなくて、おそらく言葉の問題から日本人は「絡みにくい」という経験からの印象なのかもしれないですね。用具の貸し出しや飲食の案内などちゃんと声をかけてくれますので安心ですし、分からないことは遠慮なくカタコトで声をかければいいと思います。

普段ツアーはあまり入れない私ですが、今回のコナでは、なぜかすでにツアーを二つ入れていて、本当はもう入れる日程もないほどだったのです。
しかし、alan1のレビューを見ていたら、無性に参加したくなりました。そして出発間際に申し込みました。
シーカヤックはもう何回もやったことがあるので珍しくはなかったのですが、思った通りの楽しいツアーで、アットホームな、なんとも人間味のある、心休まるお二人でした。
次回もぜひツアーに参加したいと思います。
ケビンさん、ノニさん、お世話になりました。
