An Unforgetable Trip
投稿者: Mr. Anonymous, 2008/06/10This was a highlight of our stay at Big Island. The snorkeling site was wonderful, we saw lots of fish, dophins, sea turtles and a lot of beautiful coral. I got sea sick during the trip, the crew members were very nice to me and made me feel at home. I definitely rate this activity a Five Star!

投稿者: Birgit, 2008/06/08First of all I would like to coment how easy it was to book this trip. Even so I made a mistake on the date, Fairwind Cruises had no problem what so ever to correct MY mistake and honor my booking for the right day and time. No hassels what so ever. when do you ever hear about that!!!
The day of our trip we arrived at Kaehou Bay and where greeted and welcomed in the most proffessional manner.Everybody was fitted with sanitized snorkel gear once boarded.Safty intructions where clear and to the point.Refreshments and snacks where plenty.
Staff was helpfull and informative. One of the guys even retieved a $100 dollar bill for a passenger that flew into the water. I hope he got a good tip, lol
The boat took us to Captain Cook Monument where there was incedible snorkling.
The ship had also a highdive and a huge slide. Kids had a ball.
One the way back to the bay delicious mai tais where served.(no host bar)
What an afternoon...............

投稿者: Mr. Anonymous, 2008/06/06Wow is really all I can say... the boat was a good size a little rocky so if you get motion sickness you will definatley need to something. The snacks were fruit & a cracker mix, the fruit was very good. The drinks besides water & juice are I believe 50 cents a piece. The Boat had a diving platform & slide, so that was pretty fun. They do have prescription goggles if you need those & flotation devices if you need those as well. One of the best things is there are parts that are anywhere from 2 to 7ish feet from the reef it was so beautiful & at times I was literally swimming with the fish. Awsome place I'll have to go back now with my boyfriend.

We did it! It was Awesome!
投稿者: All Around Travel Svcs, 2008/04/17We range from 10 yrs old to 38 years old, a family of 6. All of us upgraded onboard to the 1200 ft, except me and my 10 yr old. It gives you that much more line, but only a little more height. It seemed so far frolm the boat! The 800 ft was good for me, and it was SOOO peaceful you feel like you are floating! See my lovely pictures below.

Awesome Experience
投稿者: Beth & Tina, 2008/04/07It was a great experience!! Our initially planned time had to be canceled because the winds were too high. However, we were able to reschedule for the following day. In the end, we were the only ones on the boat. Peyton and Dustin were great!! They made sure we were comfortable with the equipment and added to our enjoyment. We would recommend this experience to anyone. Beautiful view -- gotta love flying!

とても綺麗でした!!
投稿者: 匿名希望, 2007/12/31お勧めです。海は透明度が高く、魚もたくさんいます。泳ぎが不安な方も、船で浮き輪等貸してくれますので安心です。船上で食べるバーガーも美味でございました。ジョージクルーニー似のキャプテン、明るいスタッフもみんな親切でした。

場所さえ分かれば！
投稿者: カッコ, 2007/12/22 わたしたちは、送迎なしのコースで、父は240フィート 私は120フィート 母は見学者として参加しました。送迎はなしにしたので、どこに事務所があるのか、前の日にレンタカーで下調べに行っておきました。それが良かったです。事務所が分かりにくいのです。カイルア桟橋の向かいにドカーンと事務所があるわけでも看板があるわけでもなく、ちっちゃな青いプレートで、この奥！見たいに書いてあります。その看板のある小さなお店が寄集まってる奥に事務所があります。そこの店員はすごく感じが良くて安心しました。写真も20ドルで頼むことにしました。写真はとってもよく映してくれてたので満足でしたが、ただフイルムを渡されるだけで現像は自分でやります。 キャプテンはサービス満点ってかんじとはちょっと違いましたが、腕はよさそうで、パラセイリングは満足でした！景色もきれいだし、ボートに乗ってる間も楽しかったです。
ただ、グレードアップをかなり勧められます。船の上で。よく分からないのに「イエス」って言っちゃうと、240フィート、二人乗り！なんてオプションをつけられちゃいますよ！

さらに、さらに綺麗な海

ハワイ島の海はオアフ島より綺麗なのですが、ハワイ島のホワイト・サンドやケアウホウよりも更に綺麗な海で、入らずにはいられません。船もカタマランなので揺れることも無く、滑り台やジャンプ台など、子供たちは何十回と飛び込んでいましたし、真水のシャワーがあるのもよかっです。
場所はシェラトンに宿泊していたので、歩いて３分といったところです。お薦めします。

曇りでしたが・・・。
投稿者: 匿名希望, 2007/10/13 今回2回目のハワイで、ケアラケクワ湾の主ノーケリングに参加しました。残念ながら当日はハワイでは非常にめずらしい曇り空でした。当日は曇りで、きれいな海が見られるのか心配でしたがきれいな海を楽しむ事ができました。
ちなみに私は非常に乗り物酔いがはげしく唯一それが心配でしが、船酔いもなく無事に過ごすことができました。
今まで何度か日本国内やハワイでのシュノーケリングに参加したことがありましたが今回が一番きれいで楽しめました。記念の旅行だったので良い思い出ができよかったです。
是非、次の機会にも参加したいと思います。

Favorite Activity of Our Vacation
投稿者: llira, 2007/09/08We absolutely enjoyed the Fair Wind Catamaran Cruise activity. The crew was friendly and very accomodating, the snorkeling location was absolutely beautiful and was filled with sea life and the experience overall was wonderful. Definitely recommend this activity. Will definitely repeat this activity when we visit the Big Island again.

What an experience!!
投稿者: ashley, 2007/07/23Parasailing in Hawaii was my first time ever and it was quite an adventure. You get amazing views and I got to be in the air with my hubby for ten minutes. On the down side, I was expecting this activity to be my faviorite activity that we signed up for but in the end it wasent on the top of my list. Don't get me wrong, if you have never done this before than I would highly recommend it but if you have already expereienced parasailing than I would spend my money on something else. I think that I might do this again in the future but only if it is not too pricy.

投稿者: Dee Baumgardner, 2007/06/28My friend Nancy and I purchased this tour on the Fair Wind as a Father's Day gift for our husbands, Jay & Jim. Jay & I had taken a similar tour in Kauai last summer. We were expecting a similar activity this time, but were pleasantly surprised to find that it was so much more. The catamaran was so much nicer, the snorkeling was wonderful, the crew was so attentive to our every need and the food was great also. We all had a wonderful time and will definitely do the same thing the next time we are on the Big Island of Hawaii. It was also great that the departure place was only a five minute walk from the resort where we were staying. The crew was very helpful in instructing us as to where to snorkel and find the most fish. My husband got some great pictures with his underwater camera. The boat was not over crowded. The weather turned out to be beautiful that day. I would also like to mention that the ages of the four of us range from 65 to 73. We had no problem maneuvering aro

投稿者: Linda Miller, 2007/06/10We parasailed during our visit to Kona. My 14-year-old twin sons participated while I observed from the boat. The staff was very professional and even joked with one of my sons who was extremely nervous, setting him at ease before his ride. The ride fulfilled their expectations to the fullest - they wanted to go back up immediately! Pictures were offered - I purchased them but haven't had an opportunity to develop them yet as we just returned home. Didn't really care for the sales pitch of t-shirts, visors, etc. at the end of the ride. As the boys were incredibly excited, I didn't want to disappoint them. I was "encouraged" to spend an additional $75 for t-shirts, which of course, I did. Overall, I would repeat the experience if the opportunity represents itself again!

離船、着船ともに子供でも年配の方でも無理なく行えるスピードですし、着水の可能性も100%ないといって良いと思います。順番を待っているとき船はそれなりのスピードで航行していましたので上に揚がったらさぞかし風を感じるのかと思いきや、方向を変えるとき、着船のためワイヤーを巻き上げられるときに少し感じる程度で、殆ど無風です。空間にただ浮いているという感じでした。また何といってもその静寂さにはビックリです。自分は一人で乗ったので本当に外界の音を含め一切の音のない世界でした。たった10分間でしたがそんな時間を体験をしてみるのもたまには良いのではないでしょうか。

午後のに参加
投稿者: 匿名希望, 2006/10/18ハワイ島に着いた初日に参加。コナ空港でレンタカーを借りてすぐに集合地に向かい１３時につき準備をして１４時に乗船できました。雨がふっていましたが、シュノーケルできました。乗船して１時間後、キャプテンクックの記念碑のそばでかなり深い場所でした。天気が悪かったので水中カメラで撮ったものはあまり写っていませんが、肉眼で魚を見ることができました。軽食というだけあって、パイナップルとオレンジ、ポテトチップスと飲み物がでました。飲み物は有料メニューがあるのかないのか不明でしたが、適当に頼んだらだしてもらえます。このツアーに日本人は私達しかいませんでした。スタッフも日本語が話せる人もいません。外国のパティーにでもきたような位、乗船中は外国人が楽しそうに談話してます。

フェアウインド・クルーズ
投稿者: 匿名希望, 2006/09/28今回はじめてハワイ島に行きケアラケクア湾シュノーケリングに参加しました。ガイドブックなどには午前中のほうがいいとかいてありましたが、私が参加したのは午後のツアーでしたが、じゅうぶん楽しめました。クルーは全て外人なのでやや言葉に困るかもしれませんがみななれているので心配は要らないでしょう。のりがよくとてもたのしめました。海もしずかで途中うんがよければ魚もつれるし、シュノーケル中にイルカに出くわすこともあるそうです。残念ながら私が行ったときにはあえませんでしたが。船も快適です。大型のカタマラン船なので船酔いしている人はみかけませんでした。

貴重な思い出になりました
投稿者: 匿名希望, 2006/08/20シュノーケルの大好きな私にとって最高の一日でした。
思っていた程水が冷たくありませんでしたし、水の透明度もよくて、色々な種類の魚が見られました。ハワイ諸島固有の魚が結構いるので、他の国でシュノーケルを経験した人にもお勧めです。
また、船から海に入るときは階段を利用できるのでボートから飛び降りる事もなく、初心者も簡単に海に入れます。
ボートへの乗船を待っている間、ジェッティで小さなグリーンタートルが泳いでいましたので、もっとカメを見られるかと期待していたのですが、シュノーケルをするケアラケクア湾はビーチがないので近くにカメはこないという事で、海の中ではカメにあえなかったのがちょっと残念でした。
ただ、ラッキーな事に、海でプカプカしながら何気なく上を見たら、シラオネッタイチョウ（White-tailed Tropicbird）が優雅に飛んで行くのが見えました。なかなか見るチャンスのない鳥なのでこれも貴重な思い出の一つです。

透明度がすばらしい
投稿者: シュノーケラー, 2006/07/11期待通りの、すばらしいツアーでした。海の透明度もすばらしく、たくさんの魚にも会え、食事も美味しかったです。日本人スタッフはいませんが、別段不自由なく対応してくれました。また、参加したいです。ハワイは日本人ばかりでいやだという人には、日本人の参加者は数組しかいなくお勧めです。
