Recommended for tourists wanting to see a lot of Barcelona during a short stay. Guides provided lots of info re: sites as well as recommendations in the city. Sunday was a good day to be on the bus...not much traffic. However, if culinary experiences are desired many restaurants are closed on Sundays.

The aqueduct on this tour is a "not to be missed." The Roman ruins of Taragona are not that spectacular, but the museum offers a good overview and is part of the ruins - so should be a "must stop and see." Sitges is a beautiful seaside resort that is very inviting.

Being of limited mobility there were bits of it that I could not do, and I think it would be helpful to issue a warning about this aspect.
For example, I could not get up to the castle However, the cable ar ride was wonderful.

I would recommend this tour as we only had a small window of time in Barcelona. I repaid before leaving Melbourne. Our tour guide Bernard was the making of this tour with his history knowledge and excellent English.

Great way to see the city. We took the full 2 hours without getting off. Then next day we stopped at various places and got back on. Best place to sit is top deck in the back where there is shade.

Best way to see the city! Great value for the price & the routes provided quick access to all of the hot spots we wanted to see. Be sure to map out your activities with siesta and closing times in mind. The busses run so frequently you have virtually no down time standing around waiting. The audio provides great information, however the earbuds are standard and a bit uncomfortable - consider bringing and using your own set along for comfort. Just wish it ran later in the evening - but if you plan it right and conserve your energy, walking back to your hotel later in the evening from your last stop is a safe and enjoyable way to take in the nightlife.

Hop-on hop-off is absolutely a must for day tourist! The bus service is very professional, timely, frequent and covered a number of must-see locations and buildings. The city bus parked just outside the cruise ship terminal to the Hoho bus pick-up point cost 3.50 euros for return trip and was only a short ride to the city.

We had a great time in Barcelona thanks to the Hop on Hop off Tour. It allowed us to discover the city and later select the places we wanted to visit most. We took a two day tour and we will recomend it to everyone visiting the city for the first time or even if you go back, we will use it again.

If you are looking to experience the most flavor of the Barcelona area in a short period of time, these tours are the way to do it. The guides are very friendly and knowledgeable, and you get to see a great portion of the cit while hearing details about the history. I really enjoyed these tours.

It was terrific to get the overview plus interesting details and then have the opportunity to stay on our own to revisit the parts that were of particular interest to us. It was also such a bonus to pass all the people who were waiting 1-2 hours in line. This is the ONLY way to go! Thanks.

Interesting overview of Gaudi. The group was on a big bus, not a smaller, more nimble one.
Our guide, Oliver, was articulate, bright and very knowledgable. I felt a bit bad for him, as we had a low energy,quiet group on this tour.

We really enjoyed our tour. The bus stop was across the street from our hotel. The tour covered all of the attractions in Barcelona. We found that the bus was also in many of the cities we were going to so we used it again in Naples.

Great way to see Barcelona. No problem using the voucher and the tour company was very efficient and informative. We did way more than we would of done on foot. Highly recommend the hop on hop off bus tour.

Takes you ALL over the city to every highlight and icon of the city. There are two routes that you can take. It was totally worth it and you will need the 2-Day Pass to see everything fully. Awesome tour!

Once we got on the bus we had a really good day. The commentary was good and mostly in time. The driver was very good. The buses were really frequent on the route.
The second day was raining, and even though there was a cover over the top, we did get very cold and wet. This was not the operators fault though! It would have been a rush to do both routes in 1day.
The only criticism was getting the bus in the first place. We queued for ages to find we were in the queue for the wrong bus(there are 2 different companies ). We then had to get to the other side of Placa Catalunya and queue again.
Definitely a good thing to do, even better if we had clearer instruction on where to get on!
