Barcelona Palacio del Flamenco Show with Sangria

We had a great dinner and saw a wonderful flamenco show at Palacio del Flamenco theatre located in downtown Barcelona. Palacio del Flamenco offers three different shows in the evenings, (1, flamenco and ole; 2, the bajano gypsy and 3, flamenco passion) . We opted for the latest show the Flamenco Passion and it did not disappoint, with more than 15 artists performing on stage "Cantaores" (singers), "bailaores" (dancers), as well as several guitar players and other musicians were present. They all gave an incredible performance, the male and female dancers were top notch. You could see the perspiration on their faces and bodies.. as they gave it all they had, so impressive. The duration of the show was a solid hour long, with each of the dancers highlighted and danced to the live music and singing. As entertaining as the flamenco passion show was, the food was equally tasty... We were quite impressed with the quality and also with the portion of the meals... and of course the cava and sangria we enjoyed were both delicious. I would recommend this avenue for a wonderful evening and Flamenco show experience. A must do!!!

The Alhambra is quite wonderful and we enjoyed our guided visit enormously. The headset arrangement works really well, enabling you to wander at will while still hearing the guide's info. Our guide, Marco, was Italian, and informed, amusing and not overloaded with dry facts. He had a partifcularly good way of repeating bits of info in a very low key way, that enabled you to really take in what he was saying. The only things that happened that were 'wrong' were that we were not picked up from where we were staying, which we thought we had booked, and the tour met an hour earlien than we had booked. It was OK because we rang the night before to check everything, and were told of these two changes. However, it was a bit of a scramble to get ourselves down into the centre of town quite early (for 8.45am) from the Albaycin district, having only arrived after a long day of travelling the night before. How? Where? etc - but we managed and the tour was great.

We arrived at the venue and to start the evening off we were taught a little about flemenco and found out just how hard an art it is. It was a group participation exercise that included clapping and foot stamping and quite a lot of laughing. It was the perfect way to start the evening.
We were then escorted into the theatre and to our table were our drink order was taken. Drinks were served and the show began. The dancers were fantastic as were the musicians and singers. Because of the lesson at the start of the evening we were able to appreciate just how skilful the dancers were. The show was exactly what we had imagined it would be and it was a throughly enjoyable evening. We would certainly recommend.

Barcelona Palacio del Flamenco Show with Dinner
Our flamenco experience started with a fun (and free) 45 minutes flamenco lesson held by a flamenco dancer and a musician. Then we chose the tapas dinner that was served before the show. We had 6 or 7 tapas, very traditional ones followed by dessert. Wine and soft drinks were also included. We loved the show, there were so many dancers on stage, 3 female singers and 4 or 5 musicians. Some parts of the show seemed to be more improvised, which was great! Go there if you're looking for authentic flamenco and local food.

Alhambra, Albaicin and Sacromonte Combo Tour with Cueva la Rocio Flamenco Show

As we had a person in the party who required some use of a wheel chair I new it was not going to be easy, however every effort was made to accommodate the situation with the result that the person in question enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to anyone providing you have some walking ability. for the rest of us it was very good indeed. The Alhambra experience was one not to be missed and the guide was first class. The Flamenco show was made even better with the taking of the meal option with it.

It was a lovely way to spend our first evening in Barcelona.
On arrival we were greeted and given a lesson in basic flamenco which involved group participation and was an excellent way to prepare for what we were to see in the show.
We were then escorted to our table and offered our drinks and the show began.
What followed was what we would describe as typical Spanish entertainment....
Singers, musicians and very skilled flamenco dancers.
The show lasts for about an hour and was very enjoyable.

The reviews we had already read explain all the tricks and traps. This is a "bucket list" experience, made easy by City Discovery. Can recommend you pick up a copy of "Tales of the Alhambra" by Washington Irving (available from better souvenir haunts). I am reading it on my way back to Australia, and it brings the whole experience to life.

Alhambra tour is a must do. The Tour guide Tarek was more than knowledgeable and explained everything in details. Pick up from the hotel and dropping off back was very helpful. All the staff personal were very helpful and nice and explained things even beyond the tour . Thank you everyone for a very nice experience.

We spent three weeks in Spain, and our trip to Granada and the guided tour of the Alhambra was the top of our list of things we did. Our guide was outstanding, and we came away with a wonderful understanding of the Moorish period in Spain and a great appreciation for the art and beauty of their culture.

Our visit to the Alhambra was the highlight of our stay in Granada. More than interesting, it offers an insight into 800 years of Moorish influence in southern Spain. Our guide, Carlos, was extremely knowledgeable and impressively, spoke six languages. An absolute must if you visit the city of Granada.

Madrid Tablao Villa Rosa Flamenco Show with Drink

I've been to another tablao before, but Villa Rosa is incomparable. I strongly recommend. The place is beautiful and the performers are fabulous. I loved the experience!!

The all day ticket gives you time to make the tour leisurely particularly to enjoy the Generalife gardens.
