ガイドは、若いスペイン人男性から女性へと、途中の食事の際にバトンされましたが、連携は完璧でした。
タパス、というよりフルコースのランチをワイナリーに併設するレストランで頂きましたが、米国やレバノンなど様々な国籍の同行者と同席。最初は皆堅かったのですが、各自の仕事の話、トランプ大統領の話で盛り上がり、酔っ払い、最後はまるでホームパーティーのよう。貴重な体験をしましたし、この程度の刺激が無いと海外旅行をした意味がないとさえ思いました。

It was an amazing tour. At the Crypt Colonia Guell the details and the beautiful Gaudi's style are impressive. The experience to walk around the little town take you back in time. The Montserrat was amazing. The view is incredible beautiful. We had the opportunity to see and hear the choir of Kids who live in the Monastery. They sing like little angels. Our tour guide Marc was excellent. The information provide was by him was excellent. It's a learning experience. You have to visit both places. No regrets guarantee.

Highly recommend - Majestic views and unbelievable craftsmanship

Gaudi's crypt was visually stunning, the details speak for itself. But it was also really interesting to learn about all the symbolism and iconography behind the work. So much depth went into the construction of every aspect of Gaudi's masterpieces.
If that wasn't enough, Montserrat was blew my mind - everything from seeing the views and the walk along the mountain, the monastery's construction (a truly spiritual experience) and angelic vocals, and another big one for me was that art museum up top! I'm a fan of 19th century artwork, and the museum certainly did not disappoint.
Sheila was an amazing tour guide. I was really impressed by her ability to present the sites and tidbits, toggling back and forth between fluent spanish and english!

コロニアルグエルに寄ってモンセラットへ。自分達で行くのはなかなかたいへんですか、すんなりと。聖歌隊の歌は、祭日のためひとで溢れてましたが、マリア像にもそれほど待たずに対面でき、ほんと満足です。

Great place to visit. Bus was very well kept and the tour guide was very informative. The only problem with bus tours, you are not given enough time to truly enjoy the sights.

モンセラットもコロニアルグエルも最高

ガウディ建築よ中で、コロニアルグエルの教会が一番好きになりました。内装（特に天井）も家具も独創的で素敵でした。完成形が見てみたです。
モンセラットは、教会も美術館も素敵でした。始めはかなり自由時間が余るだろうと思ってましたが、時間が足りないくらいでした。次回バルセロナに来ることとがあったら、また参加したいと思います。

お得感一杯でした。

参加者はアメリカ人のカップルとニュージーランド人のカップルと私たち２人の計６人でした。まずバスに乗ってコロニアルグエルへ。ガウディならではの建築物を貸し切り状態で見学。その後カヴァの試飲があり、モンセラットへ向かいました。モンセラットでは少年聖歌隊の学校内をすみずみまで案内してもらい、特別な場所からコーラスを鑑賞、その後黒いマリアをすぐに見ることができました。その後の自由時間では各自思い思いに過ごしました。他の方々はケーブルカーで頂上へ行かれましたが、私たちはレストランと美術館（料金込み）でゆっくり過ごしました。みんな「お得だったねー」と話していました。ただ残念だったのは、ガイドさんの英語がとても早口だったこと。他の参加者はnativeだったので問題なかったのですが、私たちには30%ぐらいしか聞き取れませんでした。聖歌隊の学校内を案内してくださったアメリカ人の男性の英語の方がよっぽど聞きやすかったです。

モンセラットとコロニア・グエルを両方回れてカバ1杯付きで日本語ツアーのほぼ半額なので、こちらにしました。全部で15名ほどで日本人は私達だけでした。大型バスでゆったり座れました。ガイドさんは渋いイケメンの方でソフトな物腰で、しかし、とても熱心に説明して下さいました。朝イチのコロニア・グエルは貸切状態で、中も外もゆっくりじっくり丁寧に案内していただけました。コロニア散策も、古く美しい街並みを楽しめました。街中の案内所でカバをいただき、お土産も買えました。モンセラットは下からもケーブルカーからも山上からも、すべて凄く素晴らしい景観で圧倒されました。また、ツアー特典?としての少年合唱団の学校見学や大聖堂での特別席からのコーラス鑑賞、黒いマリア像への近道、写真が撮れる美術館のチケットと、お得感満載でした。フニクラの案内もありましたが、本数が少ないようなので、今回は断念しました。

Montserrat Monastery & Winery Small Group Tour from Barcelona with Tapas
We had the most incredible day exploring Montserrat and the Oller del Mas Castle. Everything from the easy, convenient check in at the Hard Rock Cafe to the timely arrival at the end of the trip were planned perfectly!
Our tour guide, Agnes, was so very wonderful with so much local knowledge and a great sense of humor! In addition to sharing interesting factual and historical information, she provided us with local legends and myths. The views at Montserrat were indescribably breathtaking! Having someone there to help us navigate through purchasing tickets and getting on the rail car, up the mountain and to the monastery was wonderful. Agnes made our day run so smoothly!
When at Montserrat, we were able to see everything, plus had almost an hour of free time to explore the farmer's market and take an abundance of photographs.
After leaving the monastery and arriving at the vineyard, we were immediately greeted with a refreshing glass of white wine. The other wines on the tour were a great variety of tastes: a little something for everyone. The tapas were locally sourced, and tasted incredible!
We do not often travel with guided tour groups, as our experiences with them tend to be stiff and sometimes sc<x>ripted. This tour was the exact opposite. It really felt like we were exploring the sites with a very knowledgable friend, rather than a tour guide whom we just met.
If you are visiting Barcelona and looking for a way to get out of the city for a day, THIS is the tour to take!

First of all, thanks to City Discovery the trip was organised in a planned way as per the schedule. Our guide had a smile always and provided a brief history of Barcelona while we crossed the city & kept us occupied.
We boarded the 15 seater Air Conditioned coach. He guided us over to Montserrat base, where we were shifted to the Rack railways. The ride was awesome and gave us one of the best views. Once on top of the mountains the guide explained the history, and importance of the Church. Also he took us to the liquer tasting of Montserrat. Cookies were given to people who dint taste the liquer. We liked the Hazelnut flavoured liquer :). Then we got a short lunch break & they took us back to the mountain base.
Here comes another interesting part of the trip, the visit to Oller De Castle and wineries. We were welcomed with a white wine, and got a brief history of the wine making process, a feel of Spain, a classical Tapas, and lots more wine tasting. He explained us how the wine is judged on quality through its aroma, colour, and thickness in a wine glass. Again for those who dont want to taste wine, they had fruit juice :).
Then we took some great photos and departed back to Barcelona on time.

My friend came to visit Barcelona from Korea. She wanted to visit Monserrat. So I booked a tour for Montserrat. I found this tour thru Google search. Anyway we enjoyed it. Especially we really liked our "simpatico" guide Lorenzo. During the tour, he tried to explain many interesting things about Spain and Catalan which makes me more interested. Lorenzo studied in cultural anthropology (Am I right? I am not sure x_X but it's related with human anyway..) Thanks to his knowledge, he explained a lot of historical things and cultural things to us. And his English is good as well!! You will not regret! I highly recommend you to do this.

We were met promptly and left very soon from Hard Rock Barcelona. Xavier was our guide and he proved to be very entertaining in a subtle way. There were 2 groups, 1 for lunch and 1 for tapas but all were wine tasting and both groups were well managed. Our visit to Monserrat was spectacular and the ride on the cogwheel train amazing!! We came down in a bus but be warned it is a steep and twisty ride! The winery was a beautiful old castle and not busy at all. We tasted 4 lovely wines along with more than ample beautifully presented tapas. All in all a great day.

Excellent tour! The tour you gave us to the amazing Montserrat Monastery and explorative, fascinating winery was a great ending to our trip. Huge thank you to Marta, she’s a wonderful guide, understanding, knowing and nice. Good luck to her! We had a great day exploring the Monserrat Abby. We were able to see the basilica, museum, La Moreneta and hear the boys choir sing at 13.00. Then we went on to an excellent tapas and wine tour. Marta was very informative and made the day fun. A PERFECT DAY! Totally recommend !

I highly recommend this tour!! It was the highlight of our trip! Breathtaking views along with a dash of spirituality! Mark picked all six of us ladies up at our rented apartment in Barcelona and he was patient and kind the whole day! He was very knowledgeable and provided lots of background information along the way. Montserrat was spectacular and Sitges was beautiful. Our lunch with a view of the Mediterranean Sea was lovely!! A nice end to a fabulous day! Thank you Mark you are a gem!!

Very nice experience if you have little time. Two experiences in one day! The sights, Montserrat guided visit, the winery, the wine, tapas lunch- everything was just amazing! The wine tasting in Oller del Mas was great. There was an amazing view of Montserrat from the vineyard, and it was interesting to hear about the history of the castle. Marta, the tour guide was excellent and very informative!
Thanks for everything! I would definitely recommend to my friends!

The tour was an excellent way to get to see Montserrat and going early before the tourist rush was great. The beginning of the tour was guided and then there was plenty of free time to explore on your own. It was really nice having the museum ticket included in the price and was well worth the visit. The tour guide, Javier, was very friendly, funny and made the experience enjoyable. Definitely recommend this tour.

My daughter and I LOVED it. Beautiful. The whole experience was great . Our tour guide was very informative also. We just wish we had a little more free time to wander around. The place is beautiful but parts we didn't get to see because of time restraints. Very much recommended tho !

The trip is well worth while and the views are great . Only thing is we though 1/2 day was way to short and was too rushed and we got to do very little while there .
Would recommend a day if you want to go down to the Grotto or up to the top as well as visit the Church.

It was a nice scenic drive to Montserrat from Barcelona. The views going to the top of the mountain were spectacular and the visit to the Royal Basilica where we got to touch the Black Madonna was just amazing and such an experience which we won't forget easily.
