I am glad we bought the ticket and think it is good value -
Going on a hop on hop off bus tour is always a must in a new city as it gives you an over view with the facts on the audio guide and saves your legs from excessive walking!
Though we didn't use it everyday as the route wasn't extensive and didnt go that near to our hotel but it's great to have the possibility of it there along with the public transport pass.
The skip the line pass for Vatican was great and worked a treat as the tour guide staff walk you right to the front of the line!
The colluseum wasn't so we organised and it seemed like a bit of a free for all . But all in all the pass seemed to cover everything we needed !

Frequent service which toured most of the main attractions, a tiny bit disappointed that it didn't cross the river to the Vatican as we has expected but it was a fairly short walk to get there from the nearest stop. The commentary was good but there could have been more as we passed so many places which looked interesting while we were listening to the music.

I took my grandchildren and wondered if their interest would be maintained...it certainly was. Our guide was terrific, kept us moving along but took care of us...very professional. You certainly should have a guided tour as you miss so much information otherwise.

The route was fine but we are very disappointed that you sell the tour as having 2 routes A and B when it only has route A and it is more than one year ago that route B stopped. We felt quite cheated as we bought 48 hours in ordre to see one route Per day.

Buses are regular and run for most of the day/early evening. Some of the drop of points are still a significant walk from the attractions though.
The skip the line tickets came in handy though to be fair there weren't many lines when we were there.

On the map of the tour we would like to see more suggestions about where to go when You hop off . For example we did not find the entrance of the Foro Romano .Another example : more detailed info of the walk to Trevi fountain (street names) .

I had been to the Borghese Gallery twice before on my own. Had my granddaughter so therefore got a guide this time. So glad we did. In addition to a smooth line less entry, Mike was informative and entertaining. Money well spent.

Bad organization. Ear phones not clear. Full people waiting in stops. Could not get in 2dn bus that stopped, although I was near the door, a tour pulled in and could not get on the bus, I took a city bus., over with hop on hop off for me.

Our tour guide was Lindy. I cannot say enough good things about her. The tour guide makes it or breaks it. Lindy is a bright, energetic, and passionate young woman who knows her stuff. History took on an entirely different perspective when she would color the historical narratives with the rest of the story or the inside scoop. The other thing which impressed me about Lindy was her above & beyond attitude. For example, when the tour ended, Lindy offered to walk with us to the nearest subway entrance. She even taught us how to work the subway token machine and gave tips on navigating the metro. Now, how many tour guides would do that after officially being off the clock? An exceptional young woman and a very informative and interesting tour. Worth the money! Ah, the Borgheses -- how Roman are we?? -- not! To get the joke, you must take the tour.

Rebecca brought all the art and artists to life for us. We loved her passion and soon loved the art as well. She has a great depth of knowledge about the Borghese and was also helpful to members of our tour who had general questions about Rome. She was simply wonderful and if we ever come back to Rome we would want to hire her as a personal tour guide. Oh!one more thing, she was very well organized. I really appreciated that she started us at the top while everyone else was on the first floor. It permitted the sense of being nearly alone at times. She is a treasure.

Best way to view the ancient monuments. We got off twice to see some sites that cannot be seen from the bus, but are nearby, such as Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and the Pantheon. Very convenient way to see the city and great view from the top deck. We went to Florence and took the City Discovery bus there because we liked the Rome tour so much.

We had a good time in Rome & would recommend the 48 hour Hop On/Hop Off Tour especially for anyone travelling to Rome for the first time. We had no issues with this tour.
