のどかな地方都市を満喫

桜満開で特に医光寺近くの益田川沿いは圧巻。自転車で巡りたかったが貸し自転車は駅前観光案内所だけのようで要予約。
市内は中世からの歴史を感じるものが多い一方、近代建築の美術館グラントワは文化度の高さを感じた。
田吾作のイカ刺しのイカは漁船から連絡を受けて店の水槽付きトラックで運ぶそうで絶品。

The Kualoa Ranch Movie tour was so much fun! Our tour guide shared many bits of knowledge about the ranch and the island, and “The Rock” and his family were even on the ranch when we were there( unfortunately we didn’t run into him) we can’t wait to book another tour.

I truly enjoyed this tour more than anything! Our Tour Guide Alicia was so fun and informative. The views of the ranch were breath- taking. Take all the fun pics with the jurassic park characters around the ranch. Movie sites- fans of Gozilla, Jurassic Park, King Kong and many more blockbuster hits will go nuts!! You will literally turn into an excited kid during this amazing tour. Fun, Fun, Fun!! Highly Recommend!

美味しい、楽しい､癒される

今回ものんびり旅を満喫しました。あいにくの雨、医光寺まではサイクリングを諦めてバスで移動。これもまた良かった。そして､雪舟焼の陶芸を満喫。マグカップを作りました♪出来上がりが楽しみ。夜はお楽しみの田吾作❗️出されるものが全て美味しい❣️翌日は､いちご狩りで食べまくり､そのあとはカヤック体験。なかなか鍛えられる。
2泊３日で心の隅々まで癒されて､お腹は満足の旅でしたー。また行きたい。
リピートでのご利用、誠にありがとうございました。初日はあいにくのお天気でレンタサイクルをご利用いただけず残念でしたが、雪舟焼陶芸を満喫できたとうかがい嬉しく存じます。盛りだくさんの日程で春の益田をお楽しみいただけたご様子が伝わってまいりました。またのご利用も心よりお待ちしております。素敵なご感想をありがとうございました。

田舎で過ごすゆるゆる時間軸の旅

美味しいものと緩やかな時間軸が忘れられずに2回目の益田7人旅です。
前回は見学だけだった雪舟焼きの窯元で、今回は陶芸を体験、師匠からは見事なデモを披露してもらい、奥様からは各々好きな抹茶碗でお茶を立てていただきました。
2日目は高津川でカヤック体験、優雅に川に浮かんで〜のイメージをくつがえす部活感満載で、熟女グループの五十肩にムチ打ちながらもほどよい運動不足解消の体験となりました。
今回の旅のメインは田吾作でのディナー。今回はアワビの刺身、ナマコの酢の物、活たこの『コリコリシリーズ』や、田舎料理、とれとれのお野菜たち、一晩では到底食べきれない量をお腹の限界まで詰め込んで参りました。
スーパーで美味しいものを買いまくり、美肌温泉入りまくりで、ゆるやかで特別な時間を堪能してきました。
素敵な体験談をご投稿いただきありがとうございます。2回目の益田での滞在をお楽しみいただけた様子が伝わってまいりました。オプションの高津川カヤックはお天気と寒さを心配しておりましたが、皆様の笑顔と青空も見える素晴らしいお写真に、スタッフ一同安堵いたしました。また機会がございましたら、ぜひ益田へお越しください。

This 3-experience tour takes all day and lunch is provided! The tour guide/drivers were hilarious, and the rides were jumping! Saw all that was advertised and more. I don't suggest it for young kids, all three experiences might be too much!

Great Island Adventure with Great Tour Guides!

We had a great time at this ranch doing 3 different tours; Jungle Tour, Plant Tour and a Movie Tour! During each of these tours we had great tour guides who taught us lots of cool things about Hawaiian culture and sites. We would definitely go back to Kualoa Ranch and do the other things we didn’t do this time. The Movie Tour showed us the sites for lots of different movies so now I want to go home and watch all of them again! Great fun!! And definitely something I would do again!

If you are a Hawaii Five-0 fan- you must take this Tour. Sean was a superb Guide- a real professional. Flippa’s appearance made it a lot of extra fun. All around- It was the best tour I have ever taken.

. It’s a dusty ride so don’t wear a ton of makeup. Wear comfy shoes, not flip flops. Good value for your money.

Kualoa Ranch Experience

Great tours, did three tours, the Jungle experience, movie tour and Farm tour. Everything was well organized including the included lunch. The bus picked us up at the hotel right on time and drooped us off back at the hotel. All the guides were very informative and allowed ample time to see all the sights that had stops.
Would highly recommend Veltra as we did 2 different tour with them during our visit including the Island circle tour

Kualoa Ranch Movie Tour was a great value and experience (Tour Guide Haydn)

The experience was more than worth the price paid for admission. If you’re loaded and wealthy with a family of five, then yeah spend on the ATV experience. But this 90 minute bus tour was well worth the money. Our tour guide, Haydn, was awesome! We’ve been on a number of guided tours in Hawaii and Haydn is energetic, funny and knowledgable. He even offers to take great family photos or individual pictures, too! I don’t know of any tour guides that will do that. I own an RV, so driving around and talking would be difficult, especially at this ranch. Haydn does a great job navigating turns and difficult terrain. He manages to do this while cracking jokes and recalling detailed information and trivia. This tour stops and allows passengers to get out and take great pictures. You still have access to look around the grounds including the ranch history exhibit, horses, and gift shop. This tour is highly recommended.

great tour of the house and lunch with cast member Sean, my wife is a big fan of the show and this tour was a major highlight of our visit to Honolulu. Sean the tour guide was excellent, he was very informative and set up our lunch at the house. He stopped at a shopping center where Jack Lords statue is located and allowed us to take pictures. we had a great time, small tour with 6 people made it that more personable.

We learned so much about the island and the TV show.
We had a nice group.
Sean paid a lot of attention to safe Covid rules like a small group, vaccination record, face masks and temperature check. We really appreciated it.
The highlight was the McGarrett House with Shawn Garnett. Although he had not been fully recovered from a hospital stay he had spent time with us. Awesome guy <3

Beautiful Ranch

The tour was beautiful! I’d say my favorite part was the Farm tour. They showed us some beautiful nature moments and we got to taste some of the food. The Jungle keep expedition would’ve been my favorite part however the portion where they visit the bunker was quite unsophisticated and it really cheapened the experience for me. It was extremely dated and looks like it hasn’t been changed in a decade or two. There we’re some portions we’re it looked like an artists graffitied some movie art to make a section exciting but in my opinion it looked unprofessional and naive.
The charm of the ranch is the beautiful moments in nature and the warm stuff. All the staff were so sweet and caring! However, if your going for the movie portions, it’s not really as sophisticated as you’d hope. For example the skull mountain bones have been taken apart by visitors of past and don’t look as good as they did in the films.
Overall I really enjoyed myself and would recommend all to visit! I just wish there movie portions we’re more sophisticated and were updated with technology of this decade.

The ultimate package gave us 3 tours and lunch! We loved the Aloha Aina tour, learning about the land the plants, birds and all the agriculture. We enjoyed the hawaiian snacks, learning about the taro, the fish ponds and raising oystes and shrimp. The Hollywood movie tour had fun learning about different movies filmed on the ranch. The Jungle tour was awesome for the views and historical Hawaiian stories of how the ranch came to be what it is today! LUNCH was yummy! Each guide was very informative and always safety first oriented.. Thank you Kualoa Ranch !

Our family visited the ranch October 2021. We did the movie tour and it did not disappoint! Our tour guide was friendly and full of knowledge. The ranch was absolutely beautiful and the gift shop had plenty of affordable souvenirs! We will definitely visit again to do different tours.

自転車と雪舟焼ロクロも最高！

女子4人で参加しました。今回は自転車を借りてホワホワゆっくりのんびりと医行寺に行ったり、高津川をボケッと見たり、あー最高の時間でした。オプションに自転車や自転車割引き、雪舟焼など入れて欲しい。柿本神社にも行き歴史を更に感じ入りました。昼は瓦そば、トマト蕎麦なるものがあった、食べた、美味しかった。夜はセットメニュー、ベルトラスペシャルの田吾作さん、これでもかあ！という地元食材の数々。いつもでないものもあり、多彩、感動しました。雪舟焼の土は魔法です。最後にお抹茶サービス、ご主人との会話も楽しかった。また、作りたい。なんといっても登り釜なので！

自転車で移動できる範囲に、グラントワやお寺があり、気持ち良く体を動かしながら散策を楽しみました。陶芸もできます。
ホテルはインテリアも素敵で、温泉もあり、さらに食事も美味しくて快適でした。
週末、気軽に来られてリフレッシュできる旅です。

益田が大好きになって2回目の参加、今回､1日目は自転車でまわりました。ゆっくり景色を楽しみながら大好きな医光寺に到着。ここに来ると家に帰った見たいな気分になり本当に癒される。
そして今回は､陶芸も挑戦。土をこねるところも体験させていただきました。作品を作り上げたあとのお抹茶美味しかった♪
翌日は､酒店や革製品の店やら柿本神社⛩色々まわりましたが､新しい出会いが沢山ありました。
前回と同じ場所も季節や時間でまた違う味わいがあって､なんだかまた帰って来たいと思えました。
