Kualoa Ranch Movie Tour was a great value and experience (Tour Guide Haydn)
投稿者: Riverside CA Family, 2021/12/24The experience was more than worth the price paid for admission. If you’re loaded and wealthy with a family of five, then yeah spend on the ATV experience. But this 90 minute bus tour was well worth the money. Our tour guide, Haydn, was awesome! We’ve been on a number of guided tours in Hawaii and Haydn is energetic, funny and knowledgable. He even offers to take great family photos or individual pictures, too! I don’t know of any tour guides that will do that. I own an RV, so driving around and talking would be difficult, especially at this ranch. Haydn does a great job navigating turns and difficult terrain. He manages to do this while cracking jokes and recalling detailed information and trivia. This tour stops and allows passengers to get out and take great pictures. You still have access to look around the grounds including the ranch history exhibit, horses, and gift shop. This tour is highly recommended.

Sean the tour guide was excellent, he was very informative and set up our lunch at the house. He stopped at a shopping center where Jack Lords statue is located and allowed us to take pictures. we had a great time, small tour with 6 people made it that more personable.

Awesome tour with adorable duo Sean and Shawn.

We had a nice group.
Sean paid a lot of attention to safe Covid rules like a small group, vaccination record, face masks and temperature check. We really appreciated it.
The highlight was the McGarrett House with Shawn Garnett. Although he had not been fully recovered from a hospital stay he had spent time with us. Awesome guy <3

Beautiful Ranch

The tour was beautiful! I’d say my favorite part was the Farm tour. They showed us some beautiful nature moments and we got to taste some of the food. The Jungle keep expedition would’ve been my favorite part however the portion where they visit the bunker was quite unsophisticated and it really cheapened the experience for me. It was extremely dated and looks like it hasn’t been changed in a decade or two. There we’re some portions we’re it looked like an artists graffitied some movie art to make a section exciting but in my opinion it looked unprofessional and naive.
The charm of the ranch is the beautiful moments in nature and the warm stuff. All the staff were so sweet and caring! However, if your going for the movie portions, it’s not really as sophisticated as you’d hope. For example the skull mountain bones have been taken apart by visitors of past and don’t look as good as they did in the films.
Overall I really enjoyed myself and would recommend all to visit! I just wish there movie portions we’re more sophisticated and were updated with technology of this decade.

Tours and tour guides are awesome!
投稿者: Wendy Chitwood , 2021/11/02The ultimate package gave us 3 tours and lunch! We loved the Aloha Aina tour, learning about the land the plants, birds and all the agriculture. We enjoyed the hawaiian snacks, learning about the taro, the fish ponds and raising oystes and shrimp. The Hollywood movie tour had fun learning about different movies filmed on the ranch. The Jungle tour was awesome for the views and historical Hawaiian stories of how the ranch came to be what it is today! LUNCH was yummy! Each guide was very informative and always safety first oriented.. Thank you Kualoa Ranch !

Beautiful Fun

The ranch was absolutely beautiful and the gift shop had plenty of affordable souvenirs! We will definitely visit again to do different tours.

自転車と雪舟焼ロクロも最高！
投稿者: 龍の子, 2021/10/24女子4人で参加しました。今回は自転車を借りてホワホワゆっくりのんびりと医行寺に行ったり、高津川をボケッと見たり、あー最高の時間でした。オプションに自転車や自転車割引き、雪舟焼など入れて欲しい。柿本神社にも行き歴史を更に感じ入りました。昼は瓦そば、トマト蕎麦なるものがあった、食べた、美味しかった。夜はセットメニュー、ベルトラスペシャルの田吾作さん、これでもかあ！という地元食材の数々。いつもでないものもあり、多彩、感動しました。雪舟焼の土は魔法です。最後にお抹茶サービス、ご主人との会話も楽しかった。また、作りたい。なんといっても登り釜なので！

ホテルはインテリアも素敵で、温泉もあり、さらに食事も美味しくて快適でした。

Had a great time, all 8 of us! Driver/tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He has been with the Kualoa Ranch for 10 years. If for no other reason, go see the mountains, absolutely breathtaking!

投稿者: ちーぱん, 2021/10/10益田が大好きになって2回目の参加、今回､1日目は自転車でまわりました。ゆっくり景色を楽しみながら大好きな医光寺に到着。ここに来ると家に帰った見たいな気分になり本当に癒される。
そして今回は､陶芸も挑戦。土をこねるところも体験させていただきました。作品を作り上げたあとのお抹茶美味しかった♪
翌日は､酒店や革製品の店やら柿本神社⛩色々まわりましたが､新しい出会いが沢山ありました。
前回と同じ場所も季節や時間でまた違う味わいがあって､なんだかまた帰って来たいと思えました。

They took us around the movie/tv sets and told us the story behind the ranch, we loved it, specially the views of the ocean when we were in the highest level of the ranch, this is a must see when in Hawaii, I already recommend this place to my friends and family, they will love it as well... for sure we will go again to a different activity when we come back to Hawaii

Bus Movie Tour
投稿者: Moy, 2021/09/10I booked the movie bus tour a day before the actual tour. All the other tours on the ranch had been booked. I was desperate to visit Kualoa Ranch. I really wanted to do the ATV tour. I wasn’t expecting it to be very good because they still had seats available. All the other tours were booked well into next week. Boy was I wrong. The tour was amazing our tour guide Stephanie also the driver was funny and engaging. She explained all the movie set and gave us a history lesson about how the ranch and land came to be. We even saw the owner of the ranch who drove but us. Two thumbs up highly recommended best tour I took so far in Hawaii.

A Jurassic Experience
投稿者: Alissa, 2021/08/27Allow yourself plenty of time to get to the ranch especially if you are taking public transportation (and especially if you do not take public transportation often and are prone to taking the right bus # in the wrong direction lol). We luckily made it JUST on time for out tour. The tour itself was fun! The tour guide had lots of random facts about the ranch, different movies that had be filmed there, and different events that had been held there. There was even a movie being filmed at the time and we got to see a few minutes of it in action. The tour bus was just an old school bus with no glass in the windows which would have been find but it rained, hard. The good news is the tour guide did have a supply of rain ponchos! The best part by far was the views, you had an amazing view of a more rural side of the island and you could see China Man's hat from there as well. There were also some great photo opps!

Shaw “Flippa” is such a kind person and made us laugh every second we were around him. The tour guide was also very kind and showed us so much! The tour overall was excellent and I would go again when I come back!

Sean even showed us an original script from the show! We visited McGarrett’s home and met Cousin Flippa. It was surreal! I highly recommend it if you love Hawaii Five-0.

Great Adventure! LOVED, Stephanie!

The location is phenomenal and the scenery is like a postcard photo, at every angle. Please be advised, this is NOT like the ATV tour. I thought we'd get out at more stops, but we didn't. None the less, it was fun and worth the money!

Outstanding experience. A Must for any fan.
