From June to September, you may select a yukata (lighter kimono) instead.

It was such a great experience to wear the Kimono and walk around the city despite the cold weather at 2degrees.
dressing up at Karei-kan was also fun, the ladies move so fast and they were friendly and accommodating....

- Any cancellations made after 19:30 local time, 1 business days prior to the activity will be subject to a charge of 100% of the total amount.

- You will be able to select your kimono on the day of your tour. An additional fare may be needed on site if you plan to change the quality of your kimono (such as a brand-name kimono, mame-chiyo style modern kimono).
Required items to bring & attire
- You do not need to bring anything in particular. Inner kimono, tabi-socks, zori sandals are included in the fare. It may get very cold during the winter season. You may wear a long sleeved thin T-shirt under your kimono on cold days.
- Please bring a form of ID, such as a credit card or passport.
Additional notes
- A simple hair arrangement for the kanzashi hairpin is free of charge.
- It will take around 30-minutes until departure, from your arrival time.
- There may be a waiting time during the Spring and Autumn season. In the case you are running late, please contact the store in advance.
- In the case you do not return your kimono on time on the day of your activity, an additional JPY 1,080 (tax included) will be charged.
- In the case you do not return your kimono by the morning of the following day, it will be considered as a purchase. The prices will vary on the kimono and accessories, but it can range from JPY 2,160~172,800 (tax included).
- If there are stains or damages on the kimono during your hours of rental, an additional fare may be needed. Depending on the size of the damage, the cost may range from JPY 3,240~12,960 (tax included).
