🏰 The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, a series of performances and parade of the massed pipes and drums of the Scottish regiments, takes place on the Esplanade of Edinburgh Castle in August each year.
🏰 Does the Eilean Donan Castle look familiar? It has been featured on more shortbread tins and calendars than any other Scottish castle! It was also featured in the classic movie Highlander, starring Christopher Lambert and Sir Sean Connery.
