Required items to bring & attire
- Walking shoes
- For the visit of the Basilica, proper clothing is required (no shorts or tank tops). Guests wearing inappropriate clothing may not be permitted to enter the site.
Additional notes
- The gondola ride is shared by guests not belonging to the same party. Each gondola can accommodate a maximum of 6 people; the seat aboard cannot be chosen but will be assigned by the gondolier depending on guests’ weight.
- Please note that this tour may not operate in case of exceptionally bad weather, local gondolier's strike or unplanned religious functions.
- During some days of high turnout or for reasons of force majeure (i.e. high tide or security problems), the waiting time to access St. Mark's Basilica might be longer than expected.
- Please note the schedules of the following guided tours in other languages:

*The visit is monolingual. - The optional tour of a glass factory with glass craftsman demonstration is not a part of the tour. Kindly note that this optional visit could take longer than the scheduled time and that it is not recommended if you have another reservation scheduled on the same day.
- For security reasons, sacks, bags or knapsacks are not allowed inside the Basilica.
- Audio-receiver devices will be available for groups with more than 10 people during the walking tour.
- Please arrive at your check-in location 15 minutes prior to the start time.
